Feldman has the whole soft and in-love/googly-eyed thing down pat! Also, the way he would hold her face whenever he kissed her. *swoon* I really wish they were still doing big-screen romantic comedies because he’s a great leading man.

Jonah legit just took one look at Amy and spent the rest of the show being 🥰😍😍 around her, he’s so obsessed with her, I CANNOT 😩😩😩. One of my favourite things about him is the way he cradles her face every time they kiss like it’s the most precious thing he’s holding 😭😭😭

The favorite part of this relationship arc was that scene where Jonah confessed he “once” had a crush on Amy, and Amy also did the same, cue Jonah, being like “what”.
The minion scene was hands down the most human scene of them all. I was completely buffled. The setting, the funny, weird sounds of Jonah beforehand, then the sudden honesty of Amy and eventually the frozen Minion Jonah after being asked to have sex. I just FEEELTT his suprise, confusion and hidden excitement. And then the sweet, almost clumsy kick of hers to the side, 'I was joking', waiting for a second, then asking 'did you blush' and his 'yeah, big time'. Both characters had such a childish vibe. It's as if they were meeting in elementary school and have the first crush of their lives. Except they're 35. But both discovered real love, like soulbending love. So they really felt like kids that fell in love for the first time, except this time it's the real, real, REAL love of their lifetime that's in no way comparable to anything they felt before. The scene really felt so authentic and human. The voice acting is incredible. Their chemistry in that scene is just perfect. Couldn't forget the scene for a very long time. The minion costumes where just gold, whoever thought of it is brilliant. It's like they could fool around and express themselves honestly, both knowing it's all half joke and half honesty without consequences. The costumes allowed them to get rid of all boundaries, put down their mask and just have fun together. Because of the setting and sarcasm they don't jump to far ahead in the relationship, yet deep down both know this moment wasn't just a joke. And the viewer totally gets it. Reminds me of being drunk sometimes where you start being honest down to the bone to others while the others know you're drunk, so they don't think much of it, but deep down you know that there was a lot of truth you otherwise never dared saying out loud to them.

I was a bit disappointed that once they became a couple there weren't that many cute couple scenes between them anymore. All the first seasons were building up to them finally getting together and I shipped them so hard, so I hoped for more romantic/cute scenes between them when they finally did get togehter!

I'm an Office-head. I came into Superstore thinking Jonah and Amy would be a knock-off Jim & Pam. I was sooooooooo wrong. Jonah & Amy are their own thing, and they are glorious.
