Absolutely love this recipe! We got the airfryer recently and i was worrying how I was going to cope with dry dishes all the time in it but this is a game changer! Thanks so much! ❤xx
This is my third time this week making this curry🤗 it’s unbelievable!! It made it to my hand written cookery book when I keep my no fail receipts. Thank you.
i am eating it as a write, Lady you are a phenomenon, all the stuff of yours i have tried have been really good BUT THIS IS FANTASTIC. I have never tasted a CTM as good as this, in an hour all my friends will know
Thank you so much 🙂 it was actually my husband who made our first Curry in the air fryer, after I had done the rice ... And we've kept on going... More to come.
Just tried this. It was very tasty. I did add more chilli though - I chopped and fried some red finger chillis with the half onion that I fried - I don't use the prefried and dried onions enough to make it worth having some open.
Would like to suggest a great purchase you could make.. the new Pyrex no plastic range.. depending on what fits in your airfryer.. they have glass lids so if you worry about using aluminum its a far better way. I think they do 3 sizes.. they use a silacon as the air tight join the 0.8L version will fit one side of the big double drawer ninja.. so could do rice other side.. also because of glass lid you could put homemade onion bhaji's ontop.. You may get the 1.5L version in your fryer but check the measurements
Can't you just make the comment, it is easy to see who is first via the time flag. You don't get any prizes for being first, you just happened to be there when the video was first posted.
i always cook my tikka chicken in the air fryer . i only use dry marinade and spray it with red wine vinegar ,. and cook for 20 mins at 170 . comes out just right for me . not dry or over cooked
think you still need to heat the spices at the beginning in a little oil.. then let it cool and add to the chicken.. also maybe add a teasoon of potato starch and 15ml of water mixed with the 5min left to thicken the sauce
That looks great and very tasty and all in only 35 minutes, wow, no more excuses for not making a good curry. I am going to try that. Only one question, why do you use pre-fried onions instead of normal fresh onions chopped very fine?
@@rikkadeec lol everyone knows you cook spices out to get a fuller flavour.. suppose you could do it with the actual onions if you cook them yourself. I also wouldn't have covered it for the last part to get some char on the chicken.
ruclips.net/video/TbdUVD-qLKs/видео.htmlsi=OIYbcN-_mvgDFFsT. That is my stove top version, slightly different. You could try this version on the stove, just add water as needed.
This looks utterly amazing and so easy for an evening meal, I like the idea of prepping it in the morning and leaving it in the fridge till the evening. Would a pyrex dish covered in aluminium foil work in a conventional oven? I have seem in the comments that might be possible, any change in the timing?
So we gave this a go in our conventional oven, we used a similar sized casserole dish as we didn't want to use a disposable container, covered it with aluminium foil and cooked it at 200c fan oven, took it out after 30 minutes added the cream and butter and gave it another 5 minutes and it was pretty much the same, I think ours was a little bit thinner than yours. I am wondering if replacing the water with some home made base gravy and adding some yogurt for the last five minutes might make the sauce a bit thicker. Great for dinner after a busy day.
I made this today and it turned out really good. However a few things: 1. I fried the spices in the oil for a couple of minutes, let it cool and then added it to the chicken. 2. I left it in the fridge for about 20 hours to marinate. 3. I would omit the salt next time because it was a tad salty to eat. 4. The card lid burned up badly. After 30 minutes the outside was blackened. I discarded it at this point and did the last 5 minutes without a lid. I will deffo make this again, but would prefer to use a different container next time.
Such a smart idea. I love a curry but often i'm just too tired after work to go through the process of making one from scratch. Great channel. My wife LOVES your chicken changezi recipe btw, it's one of our regular weekend treats
Thank you so much! 🙌 This is a brilliant way to prep ahead and just keep them in the fridge, ready to throw into the air fryer after work. No hassle cooking. 😊👍
Ideal for people who can’t cook and don’t like washing up pans , This is not going be as tasty as pan fried with base gravy or onion water ,marinate over night would help and eat next day 😊
Hi Shamsa! I just made this and can’t believe how tasty it is… you’re a genius 😃 My only issue is the smell of burning card from the lid was really scary. Is there any other container I can make it in? Can it be made without the card lid on top? My airfryer is quite small and the medium foil tin was too big. I’m thinking I should make a smaller quantity in a smaller foil tin… What do suggest?
Hi, I've tried it in a pyrex lidded casserole but the it took double the amount of time cook it. You could try that or try portioning it off into a smaller tray, which may be the better option.
❤❤❤❤ oh my word! Just finished eating this it was amazing! Sooooo easy, thank you for posting this recipe. Sorry I can’t quite get how you pronounce your name. I would personally like a little more gravy, I was going to just add more water but I thought that would just dilute the taste and be too watery. Any suggestions lovely “my little kitchen lady” 🙏 thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words. You definitely can add water to loosen up the consistency of the gravy but do allow it to come up to the boil and cook. It out for a few minutes before you serve up. Hope this helps.
Can I just confirm the ingredients are measured in teaspoons? The piles just looks a lot bigger than that but maybe it’s the camera angle. Going to try it tonight.
Hi I have tried several of your recipes and love them. I am hoping to try this one and would like to add the optional food colourings but I am having difficulty finding them. I live in Spain and buy most of my spices etc from Amazon Spain. The only food colouring I can find seems to be liquid for cakes and I am concerned that they may be sweet. Any ideas? Also, is the Tandoori seasoning a powder or a paste?
Hi Carol, thanks for your comment. I've used cake colouring without any issues before. My sister is a Baker and swears by them so I use them when I'm out of the powder. Regarding the Tandoori masala, it's a powder and you can find it in almost any Asian food shop (if there is any in Spain) or even on Amazon. Hope that helps. 😊🙌

@@Carol_in_Spain Yes it should be fine to make in a regular oven although you might need to do a test run, i.e. preheat oven nice and hot and maybe cook at 200c for about 35-40 mins. Have a play first. Good luck. :)
