you tell us MID WAY thru the video AFTER deleting partitions that it may not be a good idea to do this if we have corrupted files? this is the whole reason me and many other people wanted to wipe their pcs. i try installing windows and it gets stuck at 93% bc my ssd has some corrupted files on it.. now i’m forced to go thru the windows set up cuz there is nothing else to boot since the ssd partition with the og windows got wiped, im forever stuck in the endless loop of boot errors and window setup screens now until i buy another ssd. i need my pc for work and could’ve used it until i bought a new ssd one day since reading data already on it is fine, just writing data apparently is a big nono for this ssd. well thanks i guess you motivated to finally replace my ssd lol.

How do you know you have corrupted ssd? I just got my PC and I haven't been able to play anything because of crashes stuttering flickering audio issues and it won't let me reinstall drivers so I'm thinking of reinstalling windows
what tends to occur w corrupted ssds are very high disk percentages, crashes, freezes, and the phsysical ssd itself overheating trying to run windows itself. basically any attempt the ssd makes to write data goes to shit. seems like ur just having driver issues. ez fix just reinstall drivers,

When I get to the region part how do I select my region? It won’t let me move my mouse or use my keyboard to select my region and I can’t do anything? Any help?
For those doing this for Windows 11 and cannot bypass connecting to the internet:
At the window where it asks to connect, do the following...
1) Press Shift + F10
2) type OOBE\BYPASSNRO
3) Hit Enter
The computer will restart and as you continue through the settings, you will be able to bypass connecting to the internet.

@@iemsohel you cannot connect after installed or during install. you want a local account then you don't want the internet. The method oobe\bypassnro is only for you to bypass connect to the internet. Click on I don't have internet then when it is all install it will take a while and it will restart again just wait until you get inside then go into setting, the check the wifi, underneath should say check available connection and put in your wifi password then it is all good.

I appreciate this more than you know 10 hours of headache trying to reset this PC and it would just get frozen on please wait and would show my mother boards logo. I went through ours of trying to figure out the problems. Nothing worked at all so after trying those ” solutions“ others recommended I would wait another hour to see if it was bugged in indeed it was this was a fast right to the point video and got my PC reset within 30 minutes. I’m not one to leave reviews but I can’t thank you enough I appreciate this. thorough walk-through!❤

You should've left a note about MBR and GPT disk formats, now i'll have to reinstall windows 10 on an mbr formatted usb drive using rufus tool. i got scared that i was going to lose all my important back up files on the second partition
I had malware or virus a buddy suggested a reset. I got a tell you this got rid of all corruption and seems to have sped my pc up significantly thank you 🙏

Press: Shift & F10
Type: taskmgr
Press: Enter
Scroll down to: Network Connection Flow
Click on it & End task.
This will bypass the setting up online acct. part.
Man what a life saver. I recently built my first gaming pc and a friend managed to click a spam link for RUclips and got me a Trojan and slowed my system down tremendously. I’m running a ROG b450f gaming 2 motherboard with a ryzen 5 5600x so the fact I was getting performance similar to an old fx-8350 on some random MB idk what it was. Was very worrying. Being able to fresh install windows like this is just the fix I needed
i`ve got the same problem with my ryzen 5 5800x and ROG B550-F gaming and 3070ti. the Pc works like shit after going to win 10 from 11.
What are your thoughts on disabling HPET? Been following all of your guides and they are immensely helpful. Helped reduce my cpu and gpu render times by 4ms which is insane! Appreciate everything you do.

bruh, the tip about disabling OC before fresh install is what i needed to hear. I couldn't understand why my PC was acting weird even after two fresh installs this week. I thought it was faulty drives or a virus or some shit. TY for the vid.

Obviously after the fresh install you then need to go back in and download all the necessary driver for you motherboard again right? Would you also need to download the newest GPU driver? And If you have updated your bios before, this will not affect the bios as that is stored on the actual motherboard itself. Or would I need to go through the bios update again?
depends if u got nvidia gpu , drivers download automatically just not the geforce experience, and most of the newer cpus tend to already download drivers through windows. non of the drivers will be up to date but that's a good thing if your trying to diagnose a pc.

new to your channel glad I came across it! definitely worth a sub! can I just ask you (or anyone that knows!) if I reinstall windows or my C drive, everything on my other drives will still work? I have 2 other drives I use for gaming, 1 is solely used for COD games lol (so friggin big! ) also you say in the video that the windows key is tied with the motherboard? later down the line I'm looking at getting another MB would this then effect my key? sorry for being ignorant I am very new to this!
The quickest and dirtiest method would to just turn off your computer and unplug your other drives and do a clean installation. You can plug your other drives back in after complete set up and you will keep all the old data on your old drives. I've run into weird issues where the drives shuffle and change drive registration during clean install before, installing my windows documents to my hdd drive instead of my m.2 ssd. Don't make my same mistake lol.

Question, after doing a wipe and fresh install, do I need all drivers reinstalled like chipset, audio, ect.?
Yes. By default, Windows 10 will automatically download the drivers for you, but I prefer downloading them directly from the manufacturer's page. In my experience, Windows sometimes downloads outdated and/or buggy versions of drivers.

quick shortcut to get to uefi .... hold shift while hitting restart and that would bring up the blue screen as well
while hitting restart? do you mean just a basic restart of the comp? should I go ahead and have the USB stick plugged in at this point
@@nathonlynchard6073 leave the usb plug in when your finish burning it then go to your start menu and just hold shift and click restart keep holding shift until the blue screen comes up and then follow his guide then ... it just an easier way

If you are encouraging people to reset their BIOS to default settings, really you should have told them to first save the optimized settings to a BIOS profile that can be recalled and loaded after the Windows install.
That is a good tip. It saves a lot of time

This helped me out so much. I bought my PC used and it has an MSI B450 Pro Carbon with the older bios. It also has a 256gb 970 evo plus in it.
I deleted everything and started with this fresh install. Just the OS will be on that 970 evo and I added a 1tb 980 pro which will have my games on it.
One thing to note, make sure your flash drive is smaller than 64gb!!! I ran into an issue with a 64gb flash drive trying to format to fat32. It isn’t possible. So 32gb and below for the flash drive! Other than that, great step by step tutorial!
