I went to Rome several years ago, and I rewatch the scene in La Dolce Vita of Anita Ekberg walking through the streets of Rome and traipsing through the fountain to remember how magical it was on my first night there not knowing any directions and making my way to the fountain from the streets and corridors.

I literally just went based on reviews and proximity to main attractions. The reviews were the best in Rome so I was sold. And Italy is definitely a fairytale come to life, truly one of the most beautiful places on earth.
