Io penso che solo vedere la Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore a Firenze è già uno stupore e una gioia per lo splendore della costruzione che ti toglie il fiato, e la toscana va beh è una cartolina continua.

The mistake tourists make is believing that Italian cities are only ancient because they visit the city centers which are also the oldest parts. For example. in Rome the new part is vast, but it is located outside the center visited by tourists.
In Italy skyscrapers are rare, often by choice, they are found in Milan and Naples far from the historic centre, in Florence I believe it is forbidden to build them. In Rome perhaps far from the center they could but I think there would be a lot of people against it because it would change the landscape. It's a common thing in many European cities.

Try Vitamin D3 and Zinc on a daily basis along with vitamin C. Just one tablet each. Been taking it since 2020 and not been sick one day since. Works great for travel and a daily regimen.

Hi there!! My husband & I are to going to Florence/Tuscany next month. We both love to drink wine & its a must for us to do wine tasting in Tuscany. Our plan is to go first in Florence, will stay for 3 days then drive to Tuscany & stay for 3-4 days. My question is do you think it’s better for us just to take the day trip tour to visit Tuscany area & do the wine tasting & stay a bit longer in Florence OR it’s a must that we have to drive in Tuscany & stay there? Hope u can give me advise. thank you! 😊

I love when tourists come and visit our country, however city centres and small villages have ancient and old buildings! There's lots of modern housing and infrastructure as well.
Oh, please dont always mimic and accentuate the Italian accent accent, it's kinda annoying at times.

Sorry dear,I agree with you that Firenze its a beautifull city but define the most beautifull italian city its not correct.maybe and I say maybe Rome its the most beautifull, but even that its very difficult to say, to choose between Venezia,Roma,Firenze,Napoli, Siena its very hard believe me as Italian.

      @@RhettandClaire It’s not a “ unique/personal “ feeling…
Nothing against any individual BUT it’s too much!!!
We locals are paying the greatest expenses of this over tourism: restaurants quality lowered and prices raised, housing market went to the moon especially in Tuscany etc, the lack of respect for our traditions and culture is annoying and yet I’m not generalizing etc. We’re starting to be an European Hollywood…
      Bastaaaaaaaa
We’re reaching a point of not return.
Thousands of channels on this social made mostly by Americans that are the new “ touristic guides “ making think even worst by creating expectations that cannot be fulfilled anymore.
Even if Mass tourism brings earnings at the beginning… it’s proved that is deeply deleterious on a long term.
It’s even becoming impossible in big Art city to find a place to rent for us locals…
Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano etc. Packed with tour busses …
Everything is becoming unrecognizable! We start to have restaurants that don’t seat locals, we’re starting to have “ time frame “ in restaurants like you do at home…
      This is not our culture!
Just read the comments: the price of wine and the house of the gladiator…
      Embarrassing!!!
      The world is big…
