😊 Hey guys! We created the Chase Car channel to give viewers a broad overview of the upcoming new cars from the top car manufacturers. We are huge fans of pickup trucks of all sizes: compact, mid-size and full-size trucks. So mostly, we will cover new upcoming trucks, but besides that, here you can find a lot of content about new sedans and SUVs too.
The Electric Vehicle wave sooner or later will become huge, so this type of content might appear on this channel from time to time. But as we are still on the way to becoming fully electrical, we mostly cover fossil cars from many amazing brands.

If it does, this will be the first new car I will ever, consider. The heck with the bells and whistles. This truck was meant for me!
With the Hilux being so bare-bones without any of the niceties their other vehicles have, I believe it. 🛻
No AM radio?
YES!!! I'm good with NO bells and whistles. No carpet, no power, manual transmission, NO PROBLEM! All I'd like is a heater and A/C. But even without A/C, I'd still buy one.
oh my god what a beautiful truck!!!
We desperately need the Hilux Champ in usa!! I'll take mine with no options and the diesel+5speed☑️📈
3 things you cant have a bad back must be under 5 foot 5 to fit inside and accept 1 6th the amount of horsepower expected
@@effigy42 300 ft/lb of torque is plenty enough for what I need to do with it
give me that 5 speed gasser base model,
flat bed, fold sides'na
With a long bed.
This is the first, new car I would consider!! Leave it to, Toyota.
yeah i;m with you there. normally i would never consider buying new. this i would make the exception for
Sorry, If you live in the United States, you can't purchase this.
@@tyleramadore4158I'm sorry, too.
K.I.S.S. Keep it simple stupid is something I have been screaming for years.
I'll be shocked if they don't pass regulations to to prevent USA sales.
They'll ( Government officials and crooked politicians) have to find a way to make a huge cut before they will do anything positive in the USA 🇺🇸 for Americans.
these things are going to sell out. we have no real options for affordable vehicles in this country and badly need something like this. I'm so hyped to see them in action and get in the field reviews of them
I can see that finding a niche in the states. Dang if I had a farm or ranch, big or small. Or a delivery service. What about a 4×4 ? Damn I want one already.
niche? At a 10k price tag (which we wont get) it would become dominant. Replace every single shitty ford ranger on the road and half of the other trucks with this.
@@PhonePhone-sf8te They made this truck with lego logic in mind. The ladder chassis on the back was drilled to hell's valley and if you remove the standard bed you can mount literally anything.
In fact, Toyota planned the suspension and brake system to be highly modular to increase tonnage. So they can sell custom parts in the future (and of course nothing stop aftermarket products). Madlad.
I would drive one everywhere.
More importantly - and 8' bed to put a sheet of plywood in it and close the tailgate.
I wish it would come to the US. Can't afford another truck if the US doesn't change
BRING THIS TO THE USA!!!!!!!! I need this no frills truck so frickin' bad!!! Auto makers have lost their minds thinking we can afford the cost of these trucks...
Longevity and cost efficiency! This type of vehicle is so badly needed. Most people cannot afford a modern vehicle and with all the doo-dads and cameras and other BS, who is going to be able to afford to replace even a turn light. I have a 2005 Grand Prix and I was hoping it would last me for the rest of my life (in my 50s) because I absolutely despise modern vehicles. All I want is a simple, reliable, cost-effective vehicle... I would buy this. [Edit after watching this again: This is such a great friggin idea.] Thanks for the vid.
By the time these hit the toyota lots USA we are going to see super addendum marks ups and all kinds of dealer ram you in the butt addendums The entire passenger window will have like 10 additional marks up pages making it 30k for the 10 k truck
The possibility of such a vehicle coming here may help create some sanity. Pickups have morphed into luxury vehicles with a bed. A correction is inevitable.
no, they are moving into trash....Rivan, lol....
I would like to see these mini-trucks make it to the USA.
Can’t wait to see this at a car show in the US
I need this truck and want it 😮❤
So, I've just started this video about the all new 10k pickup. I live in Canada. I'm betting that I'm not going to be able to buy one because I'm in Canada, we CAN'T have cheap and affordable transportation in Canada, that's not how Canada rolls. So I'm going to continue to watch the video, not to learn about a 10k pickup, I don't believe that's possible, I'm watching the video to find out why I can't have a 10k pickup. Ok, the video is over and now I know why I can't have a 10k pickup.
No, Truedope says you must have a B-EV for 60-100k CAD.
I feel your pain Bro. I watch as I dream of a cheap durable camping truck, but then reality seeps in, our dear leader probably won't allow it unless it plugs in.
Hi buddy welcome back. It’s nice to see you. I’m glad you have a plan for what you want to achieve. No apologies necessary, it good to back with family for the Christmas season. I know it’s tough to work in deep snow and sub zero weather. I have same issues. Be safe have a good time, I’ll see ya next Sunday!
No way is that selling in the US for $10,000. No way.
With all of the greed and corruption at every level of our government you are probably correct.
I want one. About time someone made a truck like this.
I saw this announcement a few months ago and have been waiting!!
When this sells in the US, it will sell at around 70,000$! Great budget!
We do that to Mexico so it makes sense that other countries do it to us. :P
very cool. I'd buy one
Asked my dealer (in Europe) when they would get it in. He said he wished he knew. I am beginning to doubt that we will ever get it into our country
A Lego truck! 😂
I would take two diesel automatics, one at my house in the US and one at our house in the Philippines. Of course we already have a Hilux in the Philippines, Crew Cab G automatic 2.4L diesel that gets 39mpg city and 47mpg highway but cost $24k last year and it literally gets better mileage in town than a Vios! It is sprung as a 1.25 ton truck so it rides better loaded than empty. We pay too much for vehicles in the US.
A great addition to the Toyota's truck lineup. They have worked a lot of things out. I see Videos of Ford and General Motors, but not sure if they are really going to do much. I have not seen a picture or presentation on what they have actually done, but they are doing a lot of talking about how good their brand is!
Would literally trade in my car tomorrow if I could... thanks for absolutely nothing LBJ.
I want one!
Yes.
I would buy this immediately in the US. Why the hell would they not sell this in the US?
Other companies don't want that competition , their 60,000 dollar pickups are already collecting dust at dealer lots.
This will be the best selling truck in the world for many years to come
Probably not coming to America but I'm still hopeful
FIAT makes and sells small pickups in Brazil-you can buy one for about 13,000 US$
Fiat reliability or have they dialed the longevity in?
Did they design this with the African warlords in mind? Seems like a good platform for a machine gun. 😂😂😂
really hope it comes to canada
I've thought about getting a truck but never wanted to be seen as a "Mall Crawler." Never mind the gas guzzling prices. If I were to get a truck, it would be this one
Flintstone truck, pick up the truck, an leg power😂
I hope they do 4w drive
I hope so because Im buying one if its 10k
Toyota also released all new ALL-EV BZ4X car this month. Great little ALL EV car for the world market. 4 month waiting list - demand is very high.
Does it have air bags, antilock brakes or a catalytic converter?
we dont need those
Yes, it has.
Noice! No mention of FWD, RWD, AWD tho... I wonder what will be available
Rear wheel drive was pictured. I think there was an earlier news release saying that it would also be available with 4wd as well.
Rwd and awd
Don't hold your breath waiting for this in the United states. Our overlords want us to be "safe". 🤣
@8:14 Once this becomes available in Mexico, I wouldn't be surprised if a good number of RUclipsrs in the US with a car-related channel race towards the border just to be able to be the first to post a video review about it.
I concur, i cant afford 70,000 for a pickup and i make 30.an hour, hell i cant even afford a 20,000 dollar truck
Not coming to the U.S. due to the chicken tax and EPA rules explained elsewhere.
This is a workhorse and a proper pick-up, something the attention seeker/grocery-shop-goer western customers have no interest at all(ofc except a select few who actually uses workhorses).
i can already image this truck being left and right here in Asia, where utility vehicles(that only costs more or less than $20k) are used everywhere
BEST THING EVER A TOYOTA FOR 10 thousand new I would love one 💯
13000USD on the base model here in Thailand.
Buut will it available in North America?
If Toyota hasn't contacted The Grand Tour about a new film they're crazy. Unless the new truck isn't as good as the old one.
A truck that will never see a light of day in America.
Sounds great except you can't buy it outside of Thailand. I rang my local Toyota dealer and a Japanese importer and got the same reply. Not available.
OFFICIAL ANNA ONE OF THE BEST CARS IN THE WORLD 💯
Won't come to the USA. It's a light cargo truck which has a 25% tariff on imports
The 90s single cab toyota 😂😂😂 they chose the shortest people for this comercial 😂😂😂
what's the milage and annual maintenance cost though??
New to Toyota I see
It’s a Toyota, it isn’t going to break.
My loaded up Toyota Hilux G ($24k USD in the Philippines) Crew Cab 2.4L diesel Automatic I bought 6 months ago gets 39mpg in the city and 47mpg on the highway.
In America the maverick is still the only small truck we will get
Okay, when?
Just a stupid question - why can’t a customer buy direct from the factory? Same with parts. Dealers are pretty much a pain in the butt and some give such poor customer service and support that it negatively affects the maker brand…
Lobbying
Will this even come to the U.S? Americans love everything big and large so i doubt it would unfortunately
Bring back the chevy s10. Rocking a singlre cab built in 2000 as a daily...
Id drive that toyota for the price
how did i get the truck hear
trucks don't have ears.
But it won’t be imported to the US, there is some weird tariff in the states that kills the importation on little trucks
The work around is if it comes as Cab an Chassis. No bed. Toyota did this back in the day. It's why the Stout an 1ST GEN hilux beds didn't match the cabs here in the states.
@@kirkoglesby6175 they closed that loophole and fined the companies that did it.. ford had to pay over a billion dollars for their use of the b2000 to make their rangers
@PumpkinKingXXIII Well, guess I will just have to keep finding old mini trucks and cobbling them back to life.
WHEN KOJI SATO? YOU SAID THIS LAST JUNE 23 AND MANY TIMES SINCE. I HAVENT SEEN ONE YET
With a flat windshield, I hope they made it so it WOULDN'T reflect the sun in other peoples eyes!
MSRP $10k after s&h, US Govt regulatory fees, and retail markup $45k base price.
Too bad it’ll never be allowed anywhere near the states
This absolutely will not be available in the USSA thanks to the NTSSA!
ntssa?
Unfortunately, Ford won't be sweating this truck because from what everyone else is reporting, this truck isn't coming to the U.S.A.. Toyota isn't going to lose money that undercuts all thier other trucks I. The number one truck market. They won't even send the Hi-Lux over here. As a consultation, we'll get the Stout that will cost more but be competitive with the Maverick. It would be nice if they did sell this truck here. It would drive the ridiculous truck prices down to where they should be, but it most likely isn't happening here in the U.S.A.
ILL TAKE ONE! NO ELECTRIC THOUGH!!
Last time it was 6000.00😂
The US isnt getting it
Ofcourse not. We arent allowed affordable vehicles now that we have Government Motors
Until the dealers get ahold of it. 5k markups
Build. It in the U.S. ….
There's no way this launches in the United States I would easily pay $25,000 for this thing new... Well it wouldn't be easy for me to afford but it would be easy for me to justify.
Yea, but is it coming to America, if not, then this isn't a "competitor" to the Maverick.
Little trucks were wonderful and cheap. Volkswagens were cheap. Now all the cars and trucks are out of sight. I have been on a motorcycle for the last 18 years because other transportation is too high. Yes, I would want this small truck and could afford it.
There is no way this will be $10,000. I am in Thailand right now and look it up at a Toyota dealer here and it’s ฿500,000 which equals about 20,000 Canadian and that’s in Thailand it’s gonna be way more markup in the US and Canadian and UK !markets.
Of course I want this truck in Canada, but you are leaving out important information or even misleading us. Am I right? Well, according to JDM Import Eligibility, we will be able to legally import this Hilux into Canada in the year 2039 and the year 2049 in the US. In Canada (except Quebec), vehicles must be 15 years old to the month of manufacture in order for them to be legally imported and driven without the worry of having them impounded, seized or crushed. And in the U.S, vehicles must be 25 years old to the month of manufacture.
"The Toyota Hilux isn’t sold in Canada or the United States relates to safety standards and regulations that apply to the North American automotive market. Canada and the United States have strict automotive safety requirements, and imported vehicles must comply with these standards for approval. It's even acknowledged that North American standards are among the strictest globally.
The Toyota Hilux was not designed to meet these standards, and adapting it would be very costly for the manufacturer. Therefore, the import cost would be much higher, resulting in a selling price significantly above the average for a similar type of vehicle."
Please add this kind of information to your future videos, please and thanks!!!
The Toyota Hilux comes in a single cab with an aluminium tray rear wheel drive this is the base model it does have a few creature comforts as for the Hilux Champ my 1997 Toyota Hilux came with more creature comforts than the Champ a heater an AM/FM radio but my Hilux came with a couple of optional extras air conditioning a cassette radio and cruise control which doesn't work
Toyota is probably the only reliable car maker left! And we all need pickups like this, not >$ 100 000 unreliable pickups with fancy and faulty gadgets! I got have 8 000 km on my new Ford Ranger pickup, all electronic aids are not working (even parking sensors). Dealer needs 2 weeks to inspect the car ... Thanks goodness I am old generation, don't need ABS, ESP and parking sensors!
lol. Doubt it. Tacoma and tundra prices are sky high.
If the dealers stop trying to ripoff everyone I would get one.
This is not coming to the USA land
Vaporware.
Even in Kenya it'll cost $50k
It will be imported? Everything imported is expensive. I live on an island, I know.
It would never work in the US. Too many stupid EPA regulations and stuff regarding size, mpg, etc. The federal government ruins everything.
About friggen time someone started making basic vehicles again.
Gimmie 3 on the tree and manual everything else.
Price tag is one thing build quality is another thing entirely Buyer beware
No way that passes American safety ratings. Mexico doesn’t have safety regulations like american
not to be sold in the u.s.
Not for Western market. A few 3 third world contries only.
KOJI SATO CEO TOYOTA.....$8K IS THE NEW HIGH FOR SMALL PICKUPS WITH SMALL PRICE. SOME ARE NOW AT $5K, WITH MARY CEO AT GM. WHATCHA GONA DO KOJI? BRING THE CHAMP TO AMERICA OR HIDE IN ASIA????
Sorry, United States. You can't have this.
Tell me what Toyota dealer have the $10K new pick up truck I will send you a check $5K. If you don’t then you are a LIAR.
Dont make it a stupid EV.
nah, i wouldnt mind it
hell throw the prius drive system in it, mod it to be a bit more torquey and sell it with 5k for the upgrade and people would eat that shit up.
These things are unfathomably uncomfortable to drive people will prefer anything that isnt shit over these shitboxes every single time
