There trying to use it by putting warm food to pull down which should have a bigger condensing unit to dissipate the latent heat from the warm food put inthere 💯
I say that condenser is a tad too close to the wall.. creating higher negative pressure to pull in dirt faster to the condenser coil. If that thing was 90 degree either way it would lower the static and lower the dirt collection. Stay safe and be well Brother Dave
Nor-Cal how about the condensing unit being too close to the exterior wall? Evap is supposed to be 1/2 the coil height off the box back wall, but methinks our IMC maintenance access code applies - 600 mm or 24 inches
I think that was one of those silly pre-applied solder fittings instead of pro-press. they had a raised ring prefilled with solder, inside, you just clean, flux and heat. I never tried them myself and they never seemed popular, because I rarely ever see them.
Want a laugh. Went on a referral walk-in call about 2 years ago. Customer stated other company had been there 4 times and box was still warm. Found 4 - 3/8” FLARE UNIONS not including the drier, in 15’ of liquid line. Every one a leaker. Turns out the guy they were sending out didn’t know how to braze or bend soft copper. Rock on.
Why couldn't you just use a fin straightening tool to fix the fins, instead of selling them a new box? Also, what kind of shoes where you wearing and would you recommend them?

I ended up using that 115v compressor! Found the switch leg that comes in and tied in neutral with the condenser fan motor
