Why was I bitching about this call more than normal? I’m tired. I’m tired of the half ass work done by others. I don’t care about the money, that time has passed when you have already had someone else out to make the repair. I believe in doing it right or you can go home but don’t have me clean up your miss when I already did my full day. If you can’t understand that then I’m not the video channel for you. I have a personality that will share anything I know but I can’t teach someone to care about what they do. That’s a personal decision that person has to make for themself. Thanks for the support I get from my awesome viewers✌️

I’ve had similar problems in a different profession. I always go back to the one who was there before and pester them to explain why they did something or chose to ignore something. The company appreciates it even if not all the people do, but surprisingly, some of them actually do appreciate being spoken to, since they recognize that you could have blown them in but chose to talk to them instead.

The apprentice will ride with you to every job for 3 years minimum. 5 is better. Are you and other experienced journymen willing to do this? Is your company willing to spend the money to train the apprentice for 5 years? Unlikely.

I've even helped teach it, but I see where it's lacking and I actually have talked with my supervisor on having people ride with me but like you said if they're already making in the mid $20s as a total rookie, it's kind of hard to have me at top pay and add them too because now your company cost of labor is more than what charging or damn near close to it. Heat Tape was seen at the back of the coil and went down the drain hole. You also seen the heat tape when I repaired the drain line and had to pull the heat tape out to rerun the pipe. I mentioned we normally insulate it. This was not installed by us, they have problems paying there bills so I'm not spending any extra time or money than needed.
