Most HVAC / refer mechanics have a fetish for cleaning evap and condenser coils. It titillates the senses. It's the main reason I watch this channel. It's AC porn. If you're an AC tech and you hate cleaning them, you're in the wrong business because it's the thing you'll probably be spending most of your time doing.. Unless of course... You're an installer (we don't talk about those sorts of people).

@@NorCal-refrigeration i would suggest to buy kranzle pressure washers especially since you use the pressure washer for professional work.
i think I still might buy one though, the price is right and Dave didn't seem to have much trouble getting a new one

Sorry about the second post, but I was going to ask you about those pressurized wash units.. I've been noticing you using the Sunjoe more lately.
Thanks for talking about them, and I'm glad that Sunjoe is making good on the warranty and will replace it. It's a shame that many companies today don't stock replacement parts for their equipment but I suppose it doesn't fit their business model very well. We do live in a throw away culture today. One of the reasons I have a small machine shop on my property is that I like to fix things and having a lathe and milling machines as well as other tools I'm able to repair just about anything. I lack a 3d printer, and may get one of those sooner or later. Waiting is not a bad thing because the tech on those have come a very long way in just 10 years and the prices continue to get better as well.
imagine the relief compressor felt when he cleaned those coils. must have felt like how you feel after dropping massive log in toilet lol

Worked on my first True today, think they cooked it running it in a corner, with the back panel missing next to an oven. Doors were all on the piss too!

Dave get a hold of a dog grooming brush. The ones with a heap of short metal bristles.
My only concern would be what kind of metal the bristles are made of. I would be worried about the kind of damage the bristles might cause to the aluminum or other metals the coils and fins are made of. I know the plastic bristles don't hold up as well, but I tend to think they do less damage, but I could be wrong about that.
@@fredflintstone8048 I figure if you don’t try to go too hard they’re fine. They don’t hurt a dog’s skin, shouldn’t hurt a coil.

I’ve looked for a sunjoe like that one sold out everywhere . I have the supco porta blaster but want to try that out . Hopefully soon

Looks like any condenser in all the Chinese restaurants in America. Costs extra money to run the exhaust hoods over the big wok’s, don’t ya know. Wonder how acidic the oil is in all those cooked compressors.

Leaky evap summer! ive had like 4 in the last few weeks. one on r12 cooler from 1988, thing held up over the years.
The old coils had thick wall tubing. Lasted forever.

Every customer has a vac, why don't you ask them ? I always keep a little brush head with a soft plastic universal connector in my 'non essential' systainer toolbox.

I bought the H10 pro bit can not calibrate it the way you do. What am I doing wrong?
There’s a small adjustment you need to set then the manual adjustment it’s in the instructions. The heater needs to heat up, minimum of 2-4 minutes then adjust them
@@NorCal-refrigeration I read the manual. Says to give it 2 plus minutes. I do but when I get it to beep 1 every second it tends to speed up on its own. When you use it ,it just looks so easy. I bought it because it always helps you. I'll play with it more hopefully I get it. Thanks a bunch for all your videos. I am a huge fan!
