Absolutely it is the point everyone seems to neglect, the borrowed money must be spent on weapons manufacturers in the US so therefore they are not celebrating Ukraine getting weapons they are celebrating their bosses making money.
As a intelligent American I can say that for me and many others it has nothing to do with the three aforementioned countries. What it does have to do with is the lack of funding for the actual American people vs funding other countries. Between homelessness, veterans issues, hungry children, the crisis at the border, and a plethora of other issues, Americans want our government to step up and take action on our own concerns before the issues of other countries. Americans should take priority over everyone else when it comes to US taxpayers money.
None of the policy changes that you proposed will ever happen, without mass protests across the US. And we just keep on voting for ultra wealthy politicians who get wealthy by propping up massive corporations, which by definition must only support the investors (Ford v Doge Brothers).
Well like 90% of the Ukraine funding goes to buying new toys for the US and sending the soon to be paid to be scrapped stuff to Ukraine, which is opening up new jobs in the US for Americans and boosting the economy, which is something most avoid talking about and say the opposite is happening. If anything, supporting Ukraine is a very big win for the US from both an economical & tactical perspective. Regarding the “issues at home”, the way I see it the system itself keeps the issues going, for the issues to be solved there has to be a massive overhaul which will never happen as the system itself won’t allow that to happen.
Its not your money, its debt. You have been overspending for over 20 years, and you would be overspending a whole lot more if are gonna stop trading with EU and start trading with Russia.
And why does America always have to save everyone? If war broke out in America would the world come running and help and send billions of dollars? America would be too broke to fund and protect their own country from war.
If anything USA is earning money on the war in Ukraine, people are buying American weapons now because they are so superior, so USA is earning big money and doing a great thing by helping Ukraine its a win win for everyone.
No one mentioned that the vast majority of aid is going toward giving Ukraine the older stockpiles so that the US can replace them with new ones. It's a win win in my view

These 2 present conflicts have clarified that morality doesn't exist. Unity, rational decisions along with patience matter. I realise this as a western born Muslim whose own nation was once colonised with brutality and forced military enlistment of millions of my countrymen for British imperial wars. I have to admit that it's down to our own short comings that we're suffering today. We must take responsibility even when it's not our fault. Certain approaches work for some nations but the same may not work for another. I'm hitting my mid 30s now and I'm starting let go of a lot of the naivety commonly attached to our youth. The best approach for Muslims is to sit down and really understand our religion so we're able to unite for the purpose of keeping our people safe, in order to prosper and let go of any notion of revenge or attack. So that one day we can return and be proud of our homelands allowing westerners to visit and even live in our countries for once. I wish peace and prosperity for the entire world. I'll leave my ummah an important example, if the prophet can forgive for being struck in the face by a stone, would he have killed a person for drawing pictures of him? Intelligence is king, which plays a vital role in diplomacy... We're irrational and quick to react without thought, not on just political level but our daily lives and on the domestic level. My advice is to please be intelligent and learn to play the game... Being nice and considerate to others isn't just about gathering deeds but it's the most intelligent and *prosperous* thing you can do for your fellow Muslims. If you can deep enough you'll understand what it mean and collateral pay off it such actions return. This is why politeness and customer service is a common motto across all successful companies around the world. Always think of the picture... and remember you represent your people and religion. The others have the media on their side to advertise them in good light. Whereas we have nothing but ourselves and Allah and on top of that fighting of the negative advertisement playing by our opposition.

It is unclear why, after just three more days, the number fell to 11,371 - a decrease of more than 900 records. The overwhelming majority of US "funding" to Israel and Ukraine is with a combination of obsolete stockpiled equipment we had to get rid of anyway and the construction of new equipment in America made by American workers in American factories. Something like $80B is actually going toward our own economy.
Yes that is not incorrect. It’s fine, but, why aren’t we selling it or at minimum stipulating repayment on the aid packages? For example; if you made a product, would you pay a customer to buy your product with the money you just gave them? Then spend more money to create new product on top of existing loans you already can’t pay back. Over simplified example but the only beneficiaries of the transaction is the factory making your product and the customer you’re paying to purchase your product. Made by Americans is great but those workers go home to increased bills across the board which causes the factory/company they work at to increase costs of products because labor is now more expensive which increases the loan amount needed to purchase more product.
@@colemorgan8567 I agree that the money used to build new equipment should be reimbursed by recipients. I think our strategic aid should work more like lend-lease in WWII.

Seems impossible to have a good faith conversation about it. People like the “ladies” here steal the show for personal Clout

I'm afraid your religion by definition does want peace as the Islam demands Muslim to fight infidels. Right? I may misunderstand of course.
You definitely misunderstand actually Islam even has rules of war written in Quran and there are rules how to approach anybody in any way if you look at it closer or read you would be surprised what people are trying to make of Islam . Only god knows difference between good and bad people

In that earlier report, the ministry acknowledged the incompleteness of 12,263 records. It is unclear why, after just three more days, the number fell to 11,371 - a decrease of more than 900 records.
Prior to its admissions of incomplete data, the health ministry asserted that the information in more than 15,000 fatality records had stemmed from “reliable media sources.” However, the ministry never identified the sources in question and Gaza has no independent media." FDD 2024

Bring on Scott Ritter
Clear who owns the US. Taxpayers have no idea.
Look at Tomi grinning like an idiot when that other lady was talking about mass graves.
I noticed the same, disgusting woman. Piers should’ve pulled her up on that but of course he would never do that, the secret Zionist
Maybe because the mass grave was reported on months ago and had nothing to do with Israel but now it's expedient for hamas to bring it up at the same time as mindless students are increasingly losing their minds.
that lady is a hamas puppet
that's because Francesca lies, full of b*llsh*t. Every smart person would have laugh about Francesca who has knowledge of a 9 year old.
The lady is an idiot comparing Israel like Russia . Israel was attacked by a terrorist group that is an Iranian regime proxy. She also spoke about Omar who is a corrupt person in our country that shouldn’t be in that position because she isn’t there for the American people.
I lose brain cells everytime i listen to these pro palestine guests

Without the promise from US to support them, Ukraine would not have fought to be in NATO and eventually being attacked by Russia. 2 years later when the situation is not that promising anymore, suddenly US wants to stop the aid. What a jerk!!!
BS. Russia wanted to conquer parts or even the entire country well before Ukraine wanted to join NATO. This conflict started decades ago.
America sells the bullets and the bandaids ..genius
I thought Piers was better than this. This was a fox news vs MSNBC debate between the two women. I was cringing so hard after the Russiagate line lifted straight from Rachel Maddo and Tomi's biblical beliefs guiding her foreign policy diatribe
Thats the reality and how low the US has got to .. Deal with it

Was based to see cappy on this. If you see this cap I love the content keep up the good work!
Let’s go Chris! Task and Purpose is a great channel.
Channel is good. he is awful. not articulate and a very poor debater.
@@Bill_Oddie_Face_Mask I don’t disagree the bulk of our cost of living crisis right now is how you put it. This continuation of paying a country to buy our used cars isn’t helping the cause as we pump more money into our MIC. I or you may not be directly affected by this spending now and our rising debt but my children, their children, and so on will be. Each time we “print” more money so to speak, we devalue the USD through increased debt, which devalues our savings and overall spending power as time goes on. So where does the return on investment come from if we just keep giving away and spending on new? I don’t see a monetary benefit that solves a here and now issue never-mind a long term monetary benefit.
@@colemorgan8567 There are two returns on investment that I see, one strategic and one economic. One, our equipment has decimated Russia's military capability without the need for any US boots on the ground. Two, the effectiveness of our weapons has resulted in thousands of orders in cash of new units from countries like Poland and Greece, at zero cost to US taxpayers.
No shock, Cappy was the most professional in all of this. Piers you were a close second ;)
They shouldn’t be getting involved in any wars it’s not there business
It is when you told Ukraine to give up their nukes in exchange for security assurances.
I wish Homie in the middle got more burn in this debate… He seems super intelligent and reasonable.
I'm always surprised how ''democratic'' countries become instantly when they fall into the US sphere of interests.
Why isn't their a pro-peace voice on this panel who is against us being involved in both wars?

@@thegingerbreadgod1312yeah but I feel like she's into identity politics but I do like her Pro Peace stands but she is not an America First type of person . We desperately need someone who cares about the country of USA.
I wonder if funding these wars whether one side is right or wrong just prolongs the suffering.
If you are still wondering, seems to me like you are underestimating the suffering Russia would cause to the inhabitants of the new lands they conquered.
Also, what's stopping them from continuing a month or a year after the first peace treaty?
You don't need to look further than about 85 years, to see what happens when you try to appease dictators (hint: it didn't work).
Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
Tomi loves to complain about the southern border, but doesn’t mention the bipartisan border security bill MAGA Republicans blocked last month…
If it was blocked it wasn't bipartisan lol
Still going with the cnn propaganda. GOP border bill hr2 has been sitting there blocked by schumer who wont bring it to vote and then uniparty tried to bring in a bait and switch bill which was defeated. just say maga and your head explodes and buy anything establishment tells you.
Tomi immediately talks about the national debt as if she understands it even slightly. National debt is not like personal debt. Tomi should take an economics class.
And supporting Ukraine costs us nothing and is actually an investment. Ukraine is fighting our enemy and we aren't losing a single soldier in the process.
Warmonger
@@AlexAlex-fj1uq you think defending a country is warmongering? If so, you're incredibly stupid.
