This is so me and my mom, I remember when I was little there was this cheesy song that would always come up in the radio that was named “mi cachito, mi pedazo de angelito”and she would always sing it to me, it’s about the love a mother has for his child. but I would always try to make her not sing it, I don’t know I just can’t explain how it made me feel but I secretly liked it.

My family once bought a house off wreckless eric. That house was the one that he lived in in France. He used our living room as a recording studio, holes for wires are actually still in the walls. Also at the beginning of the song depression you can hear a guitar, we actually still have that guitar.

Before this concert, I had only taken the time to listen to Ain't no rest for the wicked, Trouble, and Cold Cold Cold, and while they're all great songs, I never really listened to any of their other music. I really gotta hand it to my father, he has a damn good taste in music.

I've been searching for weeks trying to find this version of this song. They play it on the radio all the time here in SoCal. This is the best version of this song bar none!
It's a great version...but the original is a timeless classic that helped change music forever... It was the inspiration for a great deal of pop/punk and new wave music that followed in the 80's and 90's. Yes, this is awesome.... but the original is timeless.
Matt's energy is still consistent, even in a stripped down acoustic set haha! love it!

This is indeed a cover...great one though. This great tune is written by Wreckless Eric in 1978
Mats Looman I came here because my dad told me that a band my sister likes covered a song by a guy my dad and I like. i had to hear how they did it, and so far I prefer Eric's. I enjoyed the way he did his voice for the song and how he made the chourus diffrent from the rest of the lyrics with his voice.
Yeah, it's a great version, but I agree that I think it'd be cool if they gave some credit to the original artist.

Cage the elephant is a great band, they are right in the middle of pure talent and smart commercialism, their songs are very good on their own, and they work great for the radio as well, which in fact is a really nice balance in today's mainstream
This cover is live yet sounds over-produced and the original is in studio yet sounds raw and powerful

Cage The Elephant sound a cross between The Rolling Stones meeting T. Rex in this! Superb and really like this band. Good to know good music melodies/choruses are still around :)
