In my opinion the version on tmip is better because it sounds more melancholy. This version sounds too upbeat for me. But both versions are great
Matt is so eccentric and emotional when he performs. You can tell he's truly enjoying himself on the stage.
I don't know if you've ever preformed on stage, but for me it's the best experience anyone can have! I can't even imagine what it must be like for him who has hundreds of thousands of fans listening to him

At the time, I was really overwhelmed by it, because it was literally the first concert I ever went to, but overall, it was pretty good fun 😃

Jessica Manzo I second this! I saw them live last year, and OMG it was so amazing! Cage The Elephant are one of those rare bands that are perfect in recording and live.
I saw them in concert two weeks ago, and they are the best band I've ever seen live. I've seen a lot of bands.
Been to a good few gigs (Foo's, RHCP, Muse plenty of others + some not so major acts). Never felt compelled to dance my ass off for an entire gig before. The energy coming off Matt and the band is ridiculous. I stopped for one song (I forget which) gave me perfect time to go break my seal, grab another drink and be back at my spot for the rest.
STUPIDLY awesome band live.

This band was my favorite when I was 12. Six years later I'm an even bigger fan with a much deeper understanding of the lyrics. Cage The Elephant is the best truly.

God Of War I'm lucky enough to be catching them live at the forecastle music festival in Louisville next Friday. this will be my seventh Cage The Elephant concert. They always put on an amazing show with an absurd amoumt of energy and crowd interaction, and I feel as if they go past the extra mile for the homestate shows. I remember when they opened up for the Black Keys Turn Blue tour a few years back (in Louisville as well) and they rocked the YUM center way harder than Dan and Patrick and totally (unintentionally?) upstaged the main act. ended up crowd surfing Matt and Brad. it was most definitely one of the best concerts I've ever been to. in fact it's almost there among the time I saw them and Portugal. the man last summer. Cage has never disappointed me yet, so I keep dropping my cash on their shows/merch.
TL:DR everyone should definitely see CTE anytime you get the chance. this is especially so if you happen to go see them in the bluegrass state.

Guys I just saw you live this Tuesday on Rock For People in Czech republic and it was AMAZING. The best show I saw in my entire life. Like for real it was a highligh from a full festival. You made a full audience dance and sing. For me you were even better than Evanescence which was the main headliner. Be sure to come back to Czech republic soon! Can't wait to buy your new album.
