@@pennymiley4822 Hi Penny ,well it took me 1 year but I cut bread that I used to eat a lot most carbohydrates and eat more protein Also had banana smoothie in the morning with whey protein flax seed powder and creatine 5 gramas every day that helped me to exercise more,also walk more in the beginning,I hope you can get into your desired weight ❤️
I fast Sunday evening to Tuesday morning-36 hours every week. This amounts to 14.75% of the week that one’s body is at full rest and healing. My longest liquid fast was once 31 days.
I did 55 hours yesterday, it was very goood. Clear think. Easy for sleeping and no need spent hours for eating. I will repeat it at least twice per month
I did the 18/24 and loss a lot of weight. But by going back to eating carbs, I gained all the weight back no matter how many hours I exercise. The carb is the big killer. Yes fasting is required and low carb will result weight loss.
Look into the term “autophagy”. It’s an amazing cellular cleansing process your body activates in extended fasts. It helps destroy rogue cells that have the potential to become cancerous.
giving your body a break from producing insulin.. it also helps rid the body of stored glucose .. excellent for reversing pre diabetes and diabetes.. 150m Americans have one or the other
Not when your body has all the nutrients stored up in fat. Your body can just burn that fuel when it needs it. And it will take exactly the correct amount. It’s not going to “overeat” itself. Unless of course you don’t eat anything for like 40 days. A 24 hour fast will not hurt you at all. But in fact will likely help you. But you should still supplement micronutrients and electrolytes during fasting. But that doesn’t count as eating.
I used to eat very little food and skip meals a lot (happens in my family, I guess it's genetic). I now eat three meals with snacks in between and I've started eating one or two meals a day. I switched because I was feeling "overfed"!. I feel much better now than I'm only eating one/two meals a day with no snacks in between.
You will feel like this for 2-4 days. Just drink water with a bit of salt and it will fix it until your body adapts. It’s like an alcoholic stopping drinking and his hands start shaking. It’s just a faze

Eating 6 times a day is too much, even though ur loosing weight you can’t stop the digestion process. The whole point is to give all ur organs a break from over working.
@@ChefSherryL How does one eat “less processed foods?” Not sure what a processed food even is. I started OMAD like 2 weeks ago, and I feel a lot better. I sleep like a baby. But during my one meal, I still eat what I normally would eat. Which includes things like cherry pie, boneless chicken wings with BBQ sauce, pizza, French fries, ect. Idk how to eat any other way 😂 even still, I feel like this OMAD thing really helps. Just gotta come full circle I guess.

I do 24 hrs every other day and i only eat once a day on a eating day.
Sometimes I fast 23.5 hours, because of eating only once some days. Its not always on porpose, but rather as a result of being busy.

Exercising while fasting is ideal for weight loss because your body has to burn its own fat for fuel
If you did the workout at the end of a long fast and right before you ate, would be better.
Exercising is ideal during fasting. Glycogen storage will be depleted and then the body goes into ketosis where body switches to fat for fuel.
