By the way, it was the Polish VA for Vik that passed, not the English one. So the one you showed in the video was of the same English VA who is still alive. Though I did hear that the the new voice for Polish does sound almost the same, and hard to notice.

It's not the English voice of Vic that died. It's the polish Voice. Michael Gregory is the english voice for Vic.

Fun Fact about the Cyberpsycho at 10:36 - That is actually a reference to Blade from the Wesley Snipes Films. If you come there at night the place is Glowing bright red and playing music similar to the Blood Rave scene from the Film.
It was pretty easy to figure fast-moving dude in a black trench coat and the hair. Uses a katana and Wesley Hunts both a play on his name Snipes

Vic Vectors English voice actor, Michael Gregory, is alive and well. It's not AI used in the dlc. The Polish voice actor, Miłogost Reczek, passed away in 2021. THAT is where they used AI to recreate his voice for the dlc. The Polish va, not the English one.

I found a cool little thing the other day. After starting phantom liberty I happened to go back to where you slide down the garbage tube and it’s broken with a dead guy impaled on rebar with a shard talking bout how he saw me do it and wanted to try it. I thought that was wild.

yeah just completed it 80 hours main plus phantom liberty. try it if you can it takes a while to get used to the learning curve of the game at the start@@That1Guy642
@@That1Guy642yeah it’s great now. Some bugs here and there in the open world but they’re rly funny and not game breaking like for ex. Some cars flying over you but that’s the worse in my experience.

They've done an incredible job! I can't think of any game that had so much pre-release hype and then such a disastrous launch

I’m pretty sure there’s a quest involving a Barghest soldier telling you a story and he offers you that little inhaler thing which you have the option to take or not. Then you hallucinate the story he tells you. Pretty cool

I have seen exhaled pink smoke all over Night City. I only started noticing it after 2.0 and I don't have PL yet.
Black lace is the only drug in the game as of Phantom Liberty. It can be found on junkies and is the inhaler Dum Dum hands you in that Maelstrom quest. I don't recall the smoke having a notable color.
Trust me dig deeper with the phone at silverhands graveyard. I can't spoil it but if you have a strange comfort playing the game late at night and the npcs act strange around you. Play around with the phone. It's all part of the matrix. The bill and ted theory is real.
Not the English voice actor of Victor Vektor died in '21, but the polish actor. That means the English version doesn't use AI? The voice acting for the English version is stil alive.. 🤷🏼♂️
It's really blatant that CDPR are trying to tell people that there's FF06B5 content that can be unlocked in the Arasaka space station 'Devil' ending sequence with the puzzle cube. There have been so, so many hints about it over multiple updates now. My guess is that there's a sequence of answers you can give during the multiple times you have to do the version of the Blade Runner Voigt-Kampff test that will unlock it, possibly dependent on you fulfilling other criteria during the playthrough first.
the easter egg was so cute lol. also, i could be wrong but wasn't milogost reczek, the one that voiced viktor, the voice for the polish version not the english version? michael gregory (the english va) seems to still be alive

The amazon gaming weapon Foxhound might be a reference to the Metal Gear game series. Foxhound being the organization that Snake is a part of, and they had a member in the organization that was a world renowned sniper in the game.
Regarding, the Phant drug, you can find the maker of it in a greenhouse-like building near where you are helping the boxer getting rid of his chip.

There is a big building with glass roof and a smaller one on its left.
Get on top of it and you can drop down inside. There is a boss like woman in it with plants you can scan a computer you can read message about Phant production.
Yea its not the creator of it really shes working on it to try and make it less addictive supposedly if you read the shard in the location, she is also an easter egg/ reference in that she is supposed to be poison ivy. Alot of those cyber-psychos in that quest are kind of easter eggs for other characters like the other guy in the party in the Anitomicon is supposed to be a nod towards Blade.
Did you know that in your Glen apartment you have a miniature of the statue FF:06:B5 on your bookshelf.

If I was CDPR, I'd do an "ARG" inside of 2077 for the build up to Orion. Also, they aren't "Wrapping up development" dude... they literally have said MULTIPLE times it's in the early phases, and development won't fully start until after Witcher 4 releases...

5:35 I wonder if any of the mystery hunters have considered that the number of degrees that the cube spins may be a code of some sort, and that the glitches are in essence the line breaks.
Just noticed that the hand isn't symmetrical, there's inconsistencies at the base of it. Maybe alluding to a place on the map?
Alright, 14:15 that GrowlFM party is not from patch 2.12. How do I know? I literally stubled onto it today... on game version 2.02

I was one of those that didn't find the Foxhound rifle in my Stash after claiming it on Amazon Prime. However in a Steam Community post, a poster called Porkhammer commented thusly: Porkhammer 2 Mar @ 12:04pm "I don't know why, but it didn't appear for me either. Then I tried my old trick of launching from the game.exe in the bin/x64 folder, and I could loot the weapon from my bike's stash.I don't know why this specific method works for me, but hopefully it helps others as well."
This one worked for me as well...weird, but at least it's a way. TBH, with the exception of the Chesapeake Smart SMG, I haven't been too impressed with the AP drops. The Foxhound, for eg. has a magazine capacity of only 3 rounds...one less than the stock Nekomata or Breakthrough Iconic version.

Meredith should have become the unique additional fixer for Nomad V, like Kirk in the Streetkid lifepath. Would have been a GREAT secret...you would have had to find the mole's name to give to her. The game even suggests that they might work together again, and it would have made the, um, climactic payoff seem a lot more natural.
Meredith should have been in more of the game.. For people like me that wanted a more evil Corpo plot choice. I dislike when every romance has to be with a "good" person.

Viktor's voice actor for the English version is Michael Gregory. Michael Gregory is not dead. Michael Gregory on IMBD is still listed as the voice of Victor in Phantom Liberty. It is not AI for the English version. That is why you can not tell the difference.
In that secret party room, isn't that circular light and rug one of those puzzles that you have to merge together to get the word or code to appear? I don't remember their name, it's been a decade or two.
In the original Matrix trilogy, phones could be used to log out of the Matrix. There was a cat in the first film which was seen by Neo to skip back in time. "Deja vu."
Just a heads up that the container you showed as a location for the party is actually a hidden area in the gig "The man who killed Jason Foreman>" It's where Jason did his work as a fixer and you get the code for a garage for some gear that he and his crew klepped from Barhgest.
10:56 you actualy can do fant in game, during a small quest with some barghest soldiers. you become Kurt Hansen when you take it, one of the more interesting quests in the game. since you get to play as another character

I wonder if the location of the two fingers over the cube each time it rotates gives a code of some kind? It seems to vary a bit. But I'm not smart enough to work it out LOL.
It's now possible to change the headlight colors of some cars with the Crystal Coat option too! I dont know if that was possible before 2.12!
Found another hidden feature, at least for me. Since the latest patch my game crashes randomly. Has become unplayable. It worked fine for me on release and since then, but with this latest patch it crashes constantly.
Knowing about the note of Victor's voice actor passing and how they used patterning over a another (Hopefully similar sounding as being part of why it's nearly flawless) voice actor's performance. The one thing you can tell that seems off (And I noticed it myself.) is that there's a little digital noise in the voice. Mostly notable at the end of words or sentences. As well as a little extra gravel in the voice to likely try and hide that unavoidable and fairly difficult to edit out noise inherent to voice cloning on pretty much any level. That said it's still extraordinarily well done, and actually wouldn't have even been able to be pulled off without fairly obvious factors of it being cloning, without an actor to basically over dub/play off of.

The English VA for Vik is still alive, therefore AI is not being used for the English performance. The Polish VA is the one who passed, and that’s where they’re using AI to replicate his voice

It's "amazing" having all that on top of a still half broken mess of a game that is held with a duct tape. The actual important features such as key bindings are added with mods, but here - have a new phone mistery.
I just finished this game for the first time this year. For all the hype about recent updates and expansion i felt that actual expansion is the only good thing and it only highlights how bad everything else in comparison.
I'm wondering why nobody in these comments are talking about the cat that shows up only for that phone cutscene is probably to do with the theory that the cat that shows up during the main storyline isn't real as nobody except V and Takemura react to it. Takemura even says that it's the only animal he has seen since he arrived in Night City, and theorizes it's a Bakeneko.

If i remember correctly you use fant when you talk to the hispanic dogtown soldier who takes you through his mission. You hallucinate the entire story while you play as him.

Well the patch before this broke my game and corrupted my save . Somehow I downloaded it today and my save was recovered before the bug started happening. Better than started over I guess but I lost 5-10 hours
Guessing these mainly apply to PC as your hud is totally different to my game
In what way? It looks like mine on the Xbox but he's got the lens distortion (making the hud element ms curved) on. That's the only thing I can tell anyway
@me5969 the bottom left of the screen my icons are layed out different, my accelerater/speedo is on the bottom right and not the left. Also there's no Croma option for my rayfield, so is that PC only? Some other differences but I can't remember off the top of my head as I finished it about 2months ago and haven't played since
Honestly if it hadn't been for being mentioned beforehand I wouldn't of noticed Viktor's voice as any different. Nice to know it was done with the original VA family's permission and using an AI to just edit another voice actor instead of just duping the original.
The GrowlFM party has been in the game since before Phantom Liberty.
As much as I admire protecting the spirit of ARGs, once something is datamined you can't really put the cap back on it so to speak
Idk if anybody if ever knew but when you get a wanted level if you spam the button to enter your vehicle V gets in quicker. Nothing special but comes in handy alot.
How to explain buggy AI? Give them inhalers and tell the player that they're high and hallucinating 🤣

FF.06.B5 Mystery is how Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon got back to Gerald from Cyberpunk. She left a crack between the worlds. If you look carefully at the population. Every once and a while there is a girl that looks like Ciri. Might just be asset sharing or wishful thinking. But I see Ciri almost every time in H10 before the Heist.
For the ffo6b5 the cube you see at the end before you get the truck is a qr code if you piece it all together right

Lol I knew about holding the mouse pointer over the version to reveal 2077 like on day two of the game being out. I didn't't know that was a secret. My son had walked in and asked me a question and when I turned back to my screen it fuzzed out to 2077.

The party that went wrong has been available since phantom liberty released. Stumbled across it after helping Aaron with his implant. Wasn't too hard to beat worse was across from it the old museum

Party in pacifica after 1:00 was a discovery i made after i started to explore after update/dlc in "new" cyberpunk 2077 n was not 100% sure it was a new thing or not...
So í wounder when will witcher 4 n next cyberpunk 2077 be released 2026-2030 w a little luck i will still be alive n not turned 60 (i really really hope so)

The AI voice thing for Viktor is an example of how AI should be used. Zero issues with it being done that way :)

I hate 3rd party locked content drops…. I bought YOUR game, I don’t want to FB, Twitch, Amazon, Feet Finder or Farmers Only for ‘exclusive’ items… or at least add it in after a few weeks.

honestly, voices in dlcs often sound sooo different. (people got older, used different micros and so on...)
even if i would have heard vics changed voice. i would just assume its the typical recorded long after voice.

There’s a mystery I found that I haven’t heard anyone mention yet. I might be mistaken on if someone covered the robot ai in dog town yet
I recently went back to 1.63, The game was far less tedious and full of bullet sponges at that time. Plus Phantom Liberty has like zero replay value IMO so its no great loss.
I genuinely thought this game was amazing even when it was broke @ launch, I had it on PC so it wasn’t nearly as unplayable as console. I’ve done 2 play throughs, 1 when it first dropped and 1 when Phantom Liberty came out. At this point, I’m salty the initial experience keeps updating and changing. I do appreciate it, but at the same time I wish it was just done right the beginning, because it’s great but so tarnished from not showing up correct @ launch. I cannot justify another play through for 5% more bells and whistles every update
