So I incorporated a catfishing technique into shellcracker fishing this weekend...dragging...1oz sinker bead swivel 30 inch leader small cork small hook with worms. Slow paddling with two rods..caught 4 in the 10 inch range..in the first attempt. I did catch 12 more anchored out on bottom but I only did the dragging when I first got there for about an hour and a half...

At the 4:45 timemark, when you had that limb to deal with, that's when you should've had either a small handsaw, or a Sawsall to cut that branch with. It wouldn't hurt you to start carrying something like that with you when you go fishing. You never know when you might need it!

Great video! I love seeing the places you fish as I fished a lot of the creeks that feed into Chickamauga Lake growing up. Possum creek and Sale Creek were good Crappie places. Once when the Mayflies hatched, my dad and I were fishing the bluffs across from Harrison Bay just downstream a bit and got to see a fish feeding frenzy to beat all! Keep those videos coming.!

Another great video. I don't know how everyone else feels about it but I think your videos are really good and lots of fun to watch even with the little mess ups that sometimes happen. We don't have to watch a special one of all the bloopers like that one guy that I can't for the life of me think of his name, because your bloopers are usually right there in the one we are watching. That's one of the really great 👍things about you and your videos,, you are so real. You keep it like that and you are going to have fans for as long as you and the Lord keep this going. I know I'm a permanent fan. 😀 You always say thanks for watching so I want to tell you thanks for sharing. God bless you and keep you safe and prosperous in His awesome care. Happy fishing.

ALWAYS love every video and totally agree with the comment below that your videos are ALWAYS more exciting than any major league sport and includes GOD!! I just want to know how much time you average off camera getting off a hang up and putting on new lures from breaking them off!? I know as long as it has been for me I would probably spend more time stuck on a log or in the trees than fishing!! 🤪🤣

I don't see a lot of video of people fishing such tiny creeks. It's what I grew up doing all my life because I live in a small town and that's the only fishing spots available here besides the local reservoir. I love small creeks because you're usually alone, it's quiet and the fish I love to catch are almost always in creeks(bowfin and gar)

A Auto Inflate life jacket is a great upgrade
It allows you to wear a life jacket without the bulk
Also the auto inflate is a little extra cash
But it will get you to the surface even if you hit your head
That way you don't have to struggle to find the pull cord
I have a camo one so I can wear it duck hunting
But for you a normal color might be fine

When you are looking for a new kayak, remember when you’re paddling you’re not fishing. Also a kayak is only as good as the chair you’re sitting in, if you’re not comfortable you won’t spend any time in it. Pedal kayaks give you a big advantage Fishing, but can be a disadvantage and extreme shallow water. But you can always go back paddling when you get in those conditions. Get in let me say you can only fish when you’re hands-free good luck

Look at a NuCanoe Flint..sub $1000 and very upgradable. Also, if you're going to kayak fish in winter, I highly recommend getting a dry suit and NEVER paddle alone in winter. Talk to a Paddle Shop, they will help you. And Learn to Self-Rescue.
