One time we had a two fish tournament between 3 boats, 6 people, and both of my fish were 2.77lbs. I'll never forget that weight. I bet you will never forget 3-14.

You should mark off 12, 15 and 20 inches on the side of your kayak to some rough measurements.

AWESOME VIDEO SIR! Thanks for bringing us along. That catfish looked like a small flathead. But really couldn't see in the video. Also was a HOG that spit the hook. I would say keep the rod tip in the water next time. That way it keeps the bass from jumping as much and as high

You used the term native, yes largemouth are a native fish to this country but don't get it twisted they are only endemic to 14 states, they are found in 47. Largemouth are invasive af, the only fish more invasive is probably a brown trout, which is not native to the US.

Little trick guys for those deep hooked fish.
Carry a pair of really good sharp side cutters or cutting pliers and cut the hook off as deep as you can without making him bleed. He will unlodge it if it's just a small portion left after the cut. Toss him back
I just learned that you can use a sugary soda to help stop that bleeding from Bryan Latimer. I know you have a mountain dew on you at all times. Try that next time.

That’s the smallest water I ever saw a kayak ever enter ,obviously ,it. can only get wider and deeper than that. It looks great when you got going.
I believe with the color it was a flathead. Bullhead, what I call Mudcat is usely black around North Alabama.
My best day was three 3+ lb. back to back, but you guys are ridiculous.

%100 a bullhead. Bullheads usually have the same colors as channels but they don’t have a over or underbite where channels and blue cats have a overbite and flatheads have an underbite. Also I finally broke down and ordered several packs of those 😂

Guys must be near the Piedmont. Fishing has been crap around here since Florence flooded everything on the coast. IMO they haven't rebounded yet.

Beautiful place to fish! If you don’t eat fish but you catch one and you hook it deep and you question if it will survive or not, you should keep it and give it to someone who will eat it and enjoy it!
