I do both shore and kayak fishing and taking the advice you been giving in to getting more into bass fishing. Creek fishing is my favorite. I don't know how to fish lakes and ponds but I can catch every fish there I'd in a creek. I don't have time to search forever on a lake. I can easily jump right into a creek and catch many in no time though. So I'm sticking to creek fishing. My main lures are spinners and whopper ploppers. I haven't had much luck with anything else yet in that murky water. I have very good success on spinners though. I use the $1 Walmart spinners(bowfin tear them up) and beetlespin.
I live in southern Vermont and the water is still cold. We have had a unseasonably cold spring. Bass are just starting to move a bit. I've been crushing them with a Chatter Donk!! Thanks to you. I had never used one before I saw you use it. Thanks!!

Fun fact bass actually really like sounds on the water and they like to come and check it out for example if your on speed boat and your trolling the fish will bite but you can be going to fast

Honestly the reason I don’t normally watch the back yard pond videos is because I look at the cover of the videos and in most cases if the picture doesn’t resemble somewhere I normally fish I won’t watch it. But it’s interesting that both of the fish ran the same way in the same area, similarly one of the farm ponds I fish the fish behave similarly but not in the other ponds just hundreds of feet away.

When they are running like that it’s because competition is fierce and there are more bass in the area, or, simply a bigger bass in the area. They don’t really realize yet they are hooked. Another tell is the fact they grabbed it on the fall. I’ve watched male bass do the same behavior in the pre spawn when they are trying to out compete the females in the area.

Daniel Litman I suggest to find pretty deep and cold water and use 4-6 lb line and use a use a spinner with a weightless lure. Hope I helped 😀

You should get some scupper wheels, makes moving those kayaks around alot easier and you don't need straps, they just insert into the scupper holes.
