Fpv Drone Flight with Geprc Tern LR40 - I'm testing the Gemfan Hurricane 4024 propellers 🫡

- I flew the propellers with a total of 5 batteries, including two 3000mAh Li Ion batteries.
The propellers are very good for long range flights, but not better than the standard propellers from Geprc. In this case it is more of a suitable replacement.
Anyone who buys the propellers hoping for better flight performance will have to be disappointed.The quad hardly locks into place and there is no feeling of driving on rails.Freestyle or acrobatic maneuvers were difficult for me and I had a spongy feeling on the sticks.
The Jello is also more pronounced than with the standard propellers and that was also the reason for me to dismantle them again.

I recently purchased the same 4024 props for the LR40 but hadn’t had a chance to try them. I’m definitely not in your high level of flying skill, (still learning). I’m running props out on the LR40, for me not a noticeable difference in performance but I don’t get as easily entangled in branches. Also there is a video here where someone tried Emax Avan 3.5x2.8x3 props on the LR40 with good results. But I don’t know about their efficiency, most likely lower because of their three blade design but they are smaller by 0.5”. Thanks again for the video, great work!
Thank you for the kind words. I have also tested three-blade propellers and was satisfied with them, but for long-range flights I like the two-blade propellers much better.
I have tested some different props on my LR40. And non of them have felt better than the original. Think GEPRC made a god work with what they use from the beginning.
Really like the LR40 as a longranger. But I think it’s a bit ”underpowerd” to really have fun with as a ”freestyler”. Smoth 3D moves and like ”soft” 3D works well. Think the power makes you learn ”throttle management” since you not really have the punch to get you out of trouble. I guess the quite low power consumption make it work as it does? All in all I think it’s an exellent little drone!
In any case, it's a great drone, whatever you do with it. I primarily use the small one as a long range quad.

@@NukeFPV I fly the Gemfan Hurricane propellers in 4 inches. In my opinion, these are the best propellers for the Tern LR40. I also uploaded a short video with my impressions. I have been flying them ever since. Best regards

So how about I hit a power line and it killed one of my motors. When I arm it one of the motors runs and stops and runs again. Arghhh sucks I have to order on now and time to learn soding
