What could be nicer than seeing the world from above like a bird!?
I've been flying RC airplanes since I was a child and at some point I started flying RC 3D helicopters.After a break of almost 12 years, I have the FPV drone/quad in 2024 and here I am now.

The Dji Action 4 really surprised me here, the recording was completely filmed in automatic mode and the result is, in my opinion, brilliant. I did a second flight in manual mode and D-Log M, but it doesn't quite come close to this shot. It was really dark and even without LUT the shot is great. Here, however, there is a LUT over it because the result looks even better. However, no further adjustments were necessary.

Since my DJI Action 4 failed me again after less than a minute and switched itself off, I had to access the recording of the Dji O3 Unit. The little quad is really fun to fly. I use 660mAh when things get acrobatic and the 850mAh for cinematic shots. I converted the Talon from analog to digital because I had a DJI O3 unit left over. Even though the weather wasn't playing along, I ventured into the air with the Tern L40 to do a long-range flight. I have already flown with the Hglrc Talon at this wonderful location in Münster, but the weather and light were not nearly as good. how long is your flighttime with 4000mah or 8000mah?
@@Eisendok With my 4000mAh LiPo batteries it takes about 7-8 minutes and with the Li Ion batteries and 8000mAh I estimate 15 minutes, maybe a little more if you are gentle with the accelerator. Best regards

Thank you so much for this video! I just purchased the analog version which is great but I’m confused about the included GoPro mount. It only has 2 ears on it rather than the typical 3 that GoPros slot into. I’m not sure how to mount it. Am I missing something?
Hello and thank you for your nice comment. The GoPro holder that comes with the tern LR 40 is attached to the frame with two screws.Either you remove the GPS holder, then there is more space on the frame, or you have to live with the fact that the angle is a maximum of 15 degrees.I have installed my GPS at the back and can therefore use the holder without any problems. However, I have converted my analogue tern LR 40 to a DJI O3 unit, the quality is more than enough for me. I also only built a runcam on the quad for testing purposes.
@@BigKahunaFPV Thank you so much for your reply! I’ve moved the gps module back and mounted the GoPro holder to the drone. My issue is that the GoPro holder only has 2 pieces that stick up where all other GoPro mounts have 3 pieces that stick up. To put it another way, I’m not sure how to mount the GoPro to the GoPro holder. 🤷🏻♂️
@@MountTinMan I think the holder is too small for a GoPro?! I think I know what you mean now, a GoPro has three bars and the Tern holder only has two. This works for a Runcam Thumb. Best regards
