I’m not interested in this drone, but I enjoy watching the video 👍
Thank you for watching! I can't wait for a smart 35 V2! The v1 was one of my favs
I also
Oh! I've been waiting so long for you to release a review on this drone. I'm going to watch it now!
You're worth alot more subs than u have man! I currently have a eachine pro 58x module and a video from u fron 3 yrs ago helped me w understanding it!Good content
tanks for the informative clip
Thank you for tuning in!
Nice, you have a beautiful place to do long range❤
Bro I finally got it. The tern40 it is now my very first fpv drone.
Nice video. Still waiting for the best tiny whoop with o3 comparison 😉
For me mobula8 is the best form 2s 2inches. I put mobula8 components on pavopico frame And it ripps as hell
So far my fav for o3 only is the flylens 85 with naked o3, light, efficient, no jello
I initially bought Pavo pico and then switched to geprc darkstar 20, happy so far, so cant justify ordering flylens even though it has very positive reviews 🤷♂@@Rimzler
This drone looks good, new version of baby crocodile hahaha
Ahahhahahah that's true! It's the o3 version
Awesome flying.
Thank you for tuning in!
Great video! What is better in your opinion the geprc tern lr40 or the flywoo explorer lr4? and why?
Do you think it can do long range with PNP O3 dji controller and googles with standard antennas?? As i can see in 600metters you are losing signal. Thanks for the nice review!
I might get this. It looks fun
They are fun for exploring around!
Fighissimo per mid range 👌
Molto carino per le nuove leggi 😓
You can get a new M10 chip gps for your old explorer (Flywoo GOKU GM10 Mini V3 GPS) which will drastically speed up the time taken to get GPX fix. They're only about 17 Euros.
That's an amazing tip, seeing how good they work I gotta stock up ahahah, I think it works good even in the Classic position at this point
Nice sunset. This is using betaflight 4.5 which has many GPS improvements. It will not drop on your head.
Ahahah I know but seeing all the sketchy things that betaflight drones do I still don't trust it, if there Is the chance is better to land manually
I installed the 4.5 on the Mark5, Cinelog35 and Moz7 and all 3 landed perfectly in front of me (about 2 meters) from the take-off point. Finally 😎
I really like this one, but I'm not a fan of the tower GPS mount. I think a battery strap mounted GPS would work just as well, weigh a few grams less, and maybe fly a little better.
I believe that yes the mount helps, but is the gps being really good, so cold be mounted on an arm for example, on battery strap, or even in the Classic position and still be fine!
and Boom!! 😁👌
I seriously need to find more things to say😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Rimzler all good sir. I always watch your reviews. 👌👍😄
You should try RTH with auto landing - there is BF 4.5 so everything will be OK I tested on another drone and it works every single time as as it should. If you want to save some weight get rid of this big GPS pole and place it on front of arm.
Hey, thanks for the well thought-out review. Between this and the Flywoo explorer lr, which one do you think makes less noise?
I feel like they are just about the same, both very silent!
Seems like a nice little quad and dare i say perhaps a good beginner drone if you take that gps tower out cause i cant see it surviving many crashes 😂. Have you tried it with 3 bladed props? Perhaps it would improve its grip on turns. Also i wanted to add as someone new to your channel that i really like your format and your attitude. Very heartwarming, entertaining and informative.
Yeah it may be a good drone for beginners, the gps is that good!
The tower will withstand a lot of abuse, it's tpu, so it will bend and the gps has a thick shrink wrap around it!
I am waiting for good weather to fly again, gotta try the tribades
Thank you for the kind words ☺️☺️
Cinelog35 v2 or the tern LR40 😊 as hybrid drones which one better
Only thing i hate about it is the camera protection is not good and the good freewell nd filters dont fit because the aluminum „bumber“ for the cam is so tight.
Wow that's actually a great point, yes they should have accounted for that, will look into it in next reviews
Can't you adapt a dji mini battery to these fpv drones?
do i need a gps to see altitude? got a flywoo 5in1board with baro (never flew it)
and do i need a baro to use gps?
Nice review and in rescue mode the drone it will land by it self (Betaflight 4.4 or above feature 😉)
Ahahhaha I don't trust it a lot ahahahah, had drones do weird things,I know it will kill power once touches the ground but still no safe to do imho
Ok, of course, it is not like DJI return to home but is a big improvement compared to older versions 😉
@NunoFPV that's for sure much better! So if radio shuts off at least the drone does not crasha hahaha
Have you tested the gps recue? Thats one of my main reasons for interest in this drone. a BNF with return to home.
I have on mine. Works very well when setup correctly. I actually had it lose rx and went into gps rescue on its own! Awesome little quad
I still use the Smart 35 drone and it's the best drone for me. If I could put GPS on it, then I don't need any other drones.
Therefore, I am looking for a universal drone so that it is well-controlled, compact, energy efficient and has GPS.
And I do not know if I should choose Explorer LR4 or this GEPRC LR40.
Smart 35 was one of my favs as well, I hope they make a v2, just stick a gps on it and will be perfect as an o3 all rounder imho, and lighter enough so you can put bigger battery and even maybe fly longer sub250g
The Explorer was nice I used to replace the smart35, but never flew even close to it, the tern is a little better flying imho but it still isn't the smart!
The only issue with the smart is that it will probably have propellers In view unless they redesigning arms and front
@@Rimzler Yes, I got it, thank you.
You have an old Explorer, it's V1. But I would like to see a comparison of two Explorer Lr4 o3 and Tern LR 40 drones, which one is better controlled and flies. I have an Explorer LR4 V2, but I don't like its handling and flight quality.
@@mrMihaylo for my Explorer LR4 O3 it takes around 3-4 minutes to pick up 6 satellites. It's a bit annoying.
@@andyukraine Thank you. But the quality and stability of the flight are important to me. My Explorer sometimes flies erratically and I get nervous. I would like to know how stable GEPRC flies. I will be waiting for reviews from other users and bloggers.
Is airmode off by default? Could be why it behaves weird when you cut the throttle. Or turn on dynamic idle if airmode is on.
I have to check, raising the minimum idle fixed it tho!
@@Rimzlerturning on air mode would be a better fix for the issue. It does make the quad bounce more on landing but you can disarm immediately on touch down or put air mode on a switch so it can be turned off on landing.
Don't turn off airmode. It is what gives your quad authority when you chop throttle in flight. Only downside is the bounces on landing. New experimental feature in BF 4.5 to fix that or you can turn airmode on/off with switch.
BTW min_throttle is an old setting no? I believe it was superceded by idle speed which is also superceded by dynamic idle. Downside of increasing min throttle or idle speed to fix is reduced inverted hang time.
I'd try ensuring airmode enabled and turn on dynamic idle. Should fix and give you best performance.
BTW nice video! Love the scenery. Where is it? Tuscany?
@@UnmannedSkySorry I meant to turn it on either permanently or with switch if you want it off for landing.
Hi I’m in the market for my first done and having a hard time choosing between the cinelog 25 v2 the cinelog 35, the new Geprc tern40 and the audity 250. HELLLLLPPP PLEASE LOL
Hard choice hahahahah depends on your needs and flight environment, is it your first time flying FPV?
The cinelog25/35 are very versatile, they fly good, can record good video with o3 and will take respectively a naked GoPro/full GoPro if you bave to do some work
Any difference if using 3 blade prop?can u test it?
Have to test, will lose efficiency, but probably fly with better control
I guess airmode is off , it might be the reason for the toppling at zero throttle
May be, but weird, never happened on recent drones
where does we can mount gopro
In the front of the drone, doesn't have a ton of space, you need to use a naked
I’m blaming Rimzler for the GPS mount, repeated use of the word ‘boom’ in his content has confused our Chinese friends to the point that they think everything should be on a boom.😮
Seriously, well made and informative content as usual, I have a couple of criticisms however…. If I’m in the market for a long range quad, I want to see a long range flight, forget the ‘’under 250g” nonsense, nobody takes any notice. Same for cinewhoops, I don’t care if it can’t freestyle, I buy a cinewhoop to erm fly and get cinematic footage. Appreciate that having multiple quads for different types of flying can be expensive but to me it’s about what’s best in each category, any attempt at an all-rounder will always be compromised. Final whinge, the vast majority of people flying 03 won’t use a GoPro, I’d rather see a front mounted GPS.
Happy new year mate.
AHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH I gotta expand my vocabulary 😂😂
Happy new year!
I agree on most points actually, but consider that laws are becoming stricter and being sub250 is a lot better at least in Europe, so there is a pool of people that are interested in a light drone that's efficient and has RTH
Of course real long range is achieved with different setups entirely, and often the places where someone does long range don't care about being sub250, mountains for example you can fly a 7 inch no problem and it's the tool for the job!
Most people with o3 don't use the naked GoPro too, very true, I use vista on sub250 naked gopro drones to save up the weight and put bigger battery, but also consider that most drones I review come in different versions including analog and different flavours of hd, so it's important to keep in mind and don't skip on naked GoPro compatibility!
I just wish for the smart 35 V2 to happen, that drone was incredible, light, and felt like a sub250g 5 inch, it could do everything
@@Rimzler Agree entirely, also want to see a follow up to the smart35 🤛🏻
@kaygeebee1962 I've been asking them for a year ahahahah, there is hope!
Cant you please tell me the max. speed ? 🙏🏼
Would say around 89/90 maybe
Thank you 🤗
Bruh ... next time do like this : whats up with it MF? Hahahahah whats up baby, did you miss me? XD
AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Doesnt sound or fly like it looks !
Ahhahahahahahahha i take it as a compliment 😂😂😂
