I disagree. If you rent, yes. If you buy this... no. You are essentially renting a house and land if you buy it.
You own the house outright the land office keep the land title for up to 90 years or until you choose to sell it all. It’s called a lease and the land technically but it is still yours to keep or sell. 👍
Thanks Cooper. This is extremely expensive in comparison to the US if you don't own the land. One of the advantages to owning land is passing it down to future generations. I would never buy something like this. Why not just rent?
You own the house and the land title stays with the government land office for up to 90 years. Then you can sell the land and house or pass it on to your grandchildren and the can keep in for up to 90 years too. Win win Matt. 👍❤️👍

Good ones don’t charge for land lease. As they sell it as is. And give the land title to the Thai government land office to hold for you for the length of the term. That gives you the option to sell in the future. Win win Omar 👍❤️👍

Just curious but that field that the house overlooked (when you were looking out the bedroom window), is that going to stay like that? Or will there eventually be development on it meaning that the bedroom would overlook (and be overlooked by) other houses?
