- A video showcasing all of the weapons that the bosses use in Dark Souls 3, and the weapons you can spend boss souls on. Each boss weapon has a unique weapon art which is usually done by holding R2 / RT and then attacking. This does use mana, however. Some boss souls give you two options (such as the Princes). To get both the weapons, you'll need to kill them in New Game+ as well.
To get the boss weapons in the game, you must kill the Curse-rotted greatwood and get the kiln from it. Give that to Ludleth in FIrelink Shrine and you will be able to make them.

P.S. : You can fuse the Twin Princes' weapons to obtain the Twin Princes' Greatsword. Also, iknow it's not really a weapon, but there's the Yhorm's Greatshield. And, even if they aren't bosses, you can have the Demon's Greataxe and Demon's Fist with the Soul of a Demon.
The second Abyss Watcher weapon looks like a lot of fun to use.

I just maxed out yhorms great axe for my str build ( have 50 str because I was using fume ultra fun sword before the nerf and after the nerf, still strong but eh) with 50 strength it hits harder and faster than fume ultra funsword.
People aren't expecting the damage to be so high when pvping lol, you can land two hits on a person easily and usually get the kill in those two hits. Also....its weapon art is fantastic. Free weapon buff that also changes the R2? And adds like 100 more damage? Uh yes please.
Tl;dr - if your a strength build junkie like me then use yhorms great axe :P it's basically fume ugs before nerf hehe. And it's weapon art doesn't take a long time to use. Also if you're out of mana or fp rather, it will still work.
Haven't seen anyone use it against me yet and I'm surprised. At level 5 it gets an A in strength but for some reason it out scales fume ugs. And it's, pun incoming, AXEtually (actually) ridiculously fast and almost as long as fume ugs. Hehe

It is it can clear large groups quickly, it is amazing in pvp, and you don't have to trade any souls to get it, just the soul.

This took me a long time to make, and had to get into New Game++ and mess up my stats so I could use the weapons. I only have a few of the names, and the Japanese doesn't translate well at all so I just put who the weapon belongs to for now. I'm pretty sure I used all the possible moves, weapon arts etc but it's not easy when I can't read the weapons abilities.
All these weapons are obtained by purchasing them with the souls you get from bosses. Hope you enjoy :)
This will probably be the last video I will be making on the JPN version. I will have the English version some time this week so I will be continuing to make videos such as all the spells, rings, miracles, gesture etc locations.

+HarryNinetyFour I think you have to have a certain amount of pale tongues, covenant item, that you get from winning invasions. I think it was 5 to change your face. No idea how much for stats, also, for the face, you could only change it 5 times for one character.

Also, does this game have a weapon that can make you do backflips while in combat, like he was doing during the fight? Something like Queelang's Sword??
All curved swords kick animation get replaced with a slash and a backflip

Guys I can't find my boss souls in my inventory. I only have the souls of oceiros, the soul of the blood of the wolf and the soul of the lords. I don't know where the rest are because I didn't use them
I remember back when I couldn't decide to get ds3 or not having no previous experience with it, then I saw you could get boss weapons like in classic rpgs, it helped influence me to buy it thanks to this vid, thanks
The Crystal Sage saber reminds me of Griffith and combined with the armor gives it a Femto look.

Oooh...those Dancer's Enchanted Swords are reminiscent of Lord's Blade Ciaran's weapons...just a little, especially that flashy weapon art. Used to use the Gold Tracer as my secondary weapon to the Balder Side Sword, but of course I never expected either of those awesome weapons to make a comeback. I'm looking forward to trying this boss weapon out though

Oh holy shit they decided to use the Demons Souls version of the Moonlight Greatsword! Does it also use Faith like the demons souls variant or is it still magic? Also just looking at the Dancer's Swords I can tell people are gonna do full on FP builds and just spin for days

it uses stamina, more than fp. They also nerfed it so the spin isn't that great at all anymore.
+azure98 it actually hits really really weak for some reason... i was extremely excited to use them but by the time you get it and equp it, you only get like 80 dmg per spin which is rather shit lol

I honestly can't decide which one is best, the choice is too damn hard. Good thing I'm running a Quality build that can use all of the above first playthrough! (save MLG and possibly the Dragonslayer Spear due to Int/Fth requirements, I'll just run them on my later characters. Everything looks fucking sick, but If I had to choose a favorite, I think Yhorm's Guillotine and Abyss Greatsword are very swag)

I want the Dancer's full set, including weapons, Gundyr's Halberd, the sword from Nito 2.0, and I still can't decide for which of the Prince's weapons I want first, and I will go for the Stormdrake's weapon from the Nameless King fight.
Regular weapons will be Lothric Knight Sword, Great Scythe, Drang Spears, and Fume Ultra Greatsword for late NG+and further playthroughs. That sword is obscene in this game. I wish I can get the Silver Knight weapons.
For shields, I'll pick the Shield of Want for extra souls, Black Knight Shield, and Grass Crest as placeholder.
Dancer's swords sadly require 9 of Int and Fai with no scaling, so that might affect starting class.
Drn Montemayor I'm going Pyromancer as my starting class. I'm going to have lots of attunement for those sick weapon arts anyway, so having just enough to run all the base pyromancies with no extra investment, plus good starting attunement, faith, intelligence, and strength just makes it a very well rounded class for the early game.
I'm going for 40/40 Strength/Dex, and meeting the 50 Vit hardcap, because when you're of the glorious melee masterclass, you want to be as tanky as possible (might scale down, but no lower than 40). I'll put my armor together as I go, Fashion Souls takes experimenting, but it's definitely going to be in that middle tier, no really heavy stuff since I'm spreading those levels thin to meet a fair SL 130 cap, and don't want to fatroll. I definitely want enough poise to take a hit or two for the weapon arts, but defenses are going to be lessened in favor of high aggression and damage output from the Weapon Arts.
Attunement will be 20-30, everything else is on the fence since I don't know how effective some of the stats will be, it takes experimenting.
Rings will be Ring of Favor (everything you could ever want), Prisoner's Chain (if it's as good as the favor ring, having both will lower my defense but having TWO levels of extra Health, Stamina, and Endurance is so goddamn awesome. Otherwise, Havel's for me.), Farron Ring (Extra Weapon Art mileage, may experiment with others though), and Untrue Black Ring (Fashion at all costs).
To round if off, my left hand will have a medium shield and Pyro Flame, and my right will see a little of everything, plus a Longbow for shooting down chuggers or Turtles (it can pierce shields now).
Leider Hosen I am still on the fence with the rings. And apparently NG+ has +1 rings.
anybody else get a little Castlevania: Symphony of the Night vibe from watching all these weapons & their skills back to back? i used to love finding new swords and figuring out their perks. bless you Dark Souls for keeping this hype alive.
Dancer Enhanced Swords have the most beautiful movements for me I am using them now.

+sir Reinhardt I'm sure you were trying to be funny, but the Moonlight Greatsword wasn't originally a Bloodborne weapon. It probably uses up the mana pool, but in previous Souls games, it used up it's durability.

Hey Harry, just wanted to let you know the lothric holy sword and lorian sword can be combined at the transposition guy to make one badass weapon.
If you take both lothric prince swords to the guy on the throne, you can combine the two, making the weapon arts strong attack the fire (Elder prince) and the light attack holy (Younger Prince)... I guess you can say that's pretty nito....

I guess i am going for Lorian's Greatsword as my new Zweihander. It has all the moves i want. Horizontal slashes, overhead smashes which will hopefully flatten most enemies and a thrust attack. But boy, are there a lot of interesting weapons here. They really went balls to the wall with DS3. I have never been so hyped for a fucking game. This looks glorious.

Can you switch between one to two handed with all of these weapons if you have enough strength? Gundyr's weapon looks really cool but I still want to sword and board.
Best part about Dark Souls 3 for me is how anime some of those weapon arts are. Seriously, they look so damn stylish and awesome. Dancer's swords is just straight up something from Kimetsu No Yaiba. Still prefer Code Vein by a long shot, but damn do those moves screams absolute badassery. Can't understand why some people would hate this feature, or any of the anime-ish stuff. The hell is so enchanting about 'realism'. Ah well, some people just got no taste or sense of refinement.
