I love these two women, and I love even more how Elizabeth Montgomery got Endora to take the part.
I loved Endora’s purple and green outfit with her red hair and outrageous makeup. The outfit screamed “I’m not one of you mortals.”
That was her "flying suit".
Samantha's flying suit was a beautiful black one that shimmered
So rare & nice to hear "I am wrong, I am sorry" from any person even if it is from a witch !!
Especially Endora. She reminds me of the fictional character, The Dowager Countess of Grantham (played by Dame Maggie Smith) who when challenged about not liking to be wrong replied: "I wouldn't know. I'm not familiar with the sensation." . Both The Dowager Countess and Endora were pretty similar characters in that vein. Both played by remarkable actresses.
Both Agnes Moorehead and Elizabeth Montgomery where to excellent and intelligent actresses.

Agnes and Elizabeth played off each other brilliantly.

In later seasons, we see how really independent Sam becomes. Endora could never understand that Sam wanted to lead her own life.
Darrin and Sam learned from one another. Sam loved doing things the mortal way. It gave her a sense of accomplishment. Darrin would eventually learn to accept Sam for who she is. It will take several years, but no matter what happened, the bond between them couldn't be broken.
Elizabeth and Agnes worked very well together. The whole cast did.
That was really cool. Loved all those mother-daughter moments

There should be at least 30 episodes per season in every TV show. It used to be that a season ran from September through May. Now they call a season September through November or February through April, and you're lucky if there are 10 new episodes in that "season". Greed, pure unadulterated greed.
