Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and his uncle Ustad (master of masters) Nusrat Fateh Ali khan are legends from pakistan. These are generational singers, they belong to singing family. They start singing at a very young age and practice religiously for at least 6-8 hours everyday. You can also check out Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Amjad Sabri's "Rang" and Rahat Fateh Ali and Abida Parveen's "Chap tilak",both from coke studio. Amzad Sabri (belonged to another singing family) and Abida parveen are legends as well. Hope you like them 💛
Lovely, and interesting reaction, Ken...I'm a Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan fan, so not a big surprise to see some of his family related great talents...I also loved Momina's part a lot, hope to see her more in the future...Cheers from France !
Hi uncle Nusrat fateh ali khan is the real oroginator of all these songs.. and he was insane ... the last part was not only the part of it but it was actually the part that people wait for when they hear to sufi songs (such songs are known as sufi songs)
PLEASE turn on the captions and understand the meaning of those lines.

Coke studio has subtitles but even for normal urdu speakers these lyrics are so beutiful as these words are normally used in anceient poetry
Ustad Rahat fateh ali khan has been awarded the honorary doctorate (doctor of music) from the OXFORD University

The last part was 'aalaap' which is scale recitation in Hindustani just as Do, re, me etc. in Western music.

Plz also react on "Allah hu Akbar"by Coke studio and " Bol hu" by Nescafe basement Pakistan...✌💝
In coke studio ( Pakistan) they do live performances, and little to no voice tuning voice engineering. It is as raw and beautiful as it can. Rahat and his family is the original signer of the song, and he is very talented singer and a legend.
