@@dprecou Hey brother. Last saw them back in 2002 when the supported GnR with Sebastian Bach in Sydney. 2nd best concert I've ever been to. They still got it. A small side note: Tragically, Angry Anderson lost his son some years back. You can Google it to find out more. Peace.
@@BROKENTEETH-55515 They opened when Motorhead toured Australia around 2006 or 2007. At that gig, Rose Tattoo were the loudest thing I have heard before or since. Saw them again locally in February this year and they had reined the volume in a little, but was still an awesome show.
Its a shame and almost a disgrace never to hear about DIgger whenever great drummers are mentioned...What a band. Unstoppable core, even with Rockin Rob Riley.
The Tatts never failed to get me up and about, just an absolute powerhouse of a band. They should have been huge internationally. Saw them with the Angels on their Barbed Wire Tour, my ears rang for 3 days and I loved every minute of it.
Aewesome band, know them since the 80's......Underated in America, Angry Anderson a unique character, Bon Scott´s close friend, my favorite album ASSAULT & BAttery.,,,,THANKS FOR SHARING THIS CONCERT,
Saw these backing rainbow up in Leeds very early 80s , they were fkin fantastic . Great to see this concert . I still listen to rock n roll outlaws regularly.
This just drips of the Australian, no bullshit Rock and Roll, spirit. Just blows away any of the rap crap, 'jay zeezzz' or whatever passes as music today These guys played dangerous music and lived what they played about - unlike today's powder puffs.
Bought a cassette tape in Saudi Arabia, it said "AC/DC" Rose Tattoo.. the picture was the band and enough for me to buy it.. HOOKED.. lifetime fan.. that album was Assault & Battery, and I later acquired Rose Tattoo, Scared for Life, yada yada.. Kick ass Rock n Roll, and Angry is a lost brother of mine..
When I lived in Sydney when to all their shows and most times The Angels were also playing Angry and Doc are the 2 most underrated frontmen in the game.
Why didn't these guys get to be INTERNATIONAL stars. What a great live band, and the lead singer, full of charisma and the voice... It was our loss Australia!
I'll use an overused phrase: ahead of their time. In the early 80's the world outside of Oz wasn't really prepared for a gritty band that told it like it often is, and sounded like it, too.
I met Angry several times as he lived close to my suburb. He was so friendly and signed autographs for everybody. He had no '' Rock Star Ego '' at all. A true Aussie legend !
Stationed in Germany in '81. Saw the first album in a store, had no idea who they were. Bought it because of the album cover! Wore it out! Besides, the guys name was "Angry"!

Michael Marshall saw them around the same time at the Kewdale Hotel in Perth, probably 30 people turned up, had front row unencumbered. Sound quality was perfect and the band absolutely slayed. Probably the first band I’d ever seen that showed me how powerful a good live rock band could be.

'Rock and Roll Outlaw'. Just goes to show that you can't say 'This is the best R'n'R song ever'. It may be 'The Angels' or even 'AC/DC', Riff Raff. But it will be an Australian Pub Rock band.
Not in the RORHOF, but it just serves as another discredit to that commercial heap.. On any given night, if you saw the Tatts, they delivered hard edge music that can not be duplicated!
Saw Rose Tattoo, Pat Travers & Aerosmith in "82" and I Left a Rose Tattoo Fan and Disgusted with Aerosmith who FN Sucked !! Tyler & Perry were Horrible but Pat Travers was Great & Rose Tattoo was an Unexpectedly Great Live Band !!
The golden decade has never ended - Airborne continue to carry the torch for Ozzie pub rock; they emulate AC / DC and the Tatts into one great package ! While I live AC / DC I do prefer the Tatts & Airborne, as both are more vicious & agressive in sound.
motorrebell the boys from Accadacca were massive fans of the Tatts and got them signed to Albert's. Vanda/Young produced their first four albums. 'Nuff said. As a fair dinkum blue collar Australian, I can't split Bon-era AC/DC, the Angels or Rose Tattoo. Equally great bands and music. Golden age of Australian Rock.
Jimmy Durex I know that mate. Angry comes from the same part of Melbourne as me, Early AC/DC was an Australian band. Phil Rudd and Mark Evans were both Melburnians. The Young brothers and Bon emigrated as 10£ Poms as children. Bon went to Sunshine Primary school in Melbourne’s western suburbs before his family moved to Fremantle. They always considered themselves an Australian band. Not now.
