These guys (Rose Tattoo) changed Rock and Roll in the 70's hand's down. Problem was you couldn't control them, which is the way R&R should be.

Axl Rose you know what in 1981 when he went to see rose tattoo with Aerosmith he said Aerosmith they were has-beens by then.
However, rose tattoo he said blew me away he said those guys were doing something that nobody else is really doing .
He said I fell in love with him, and I used them as an inspiration for my name. Axl Rose

We had a local D.J. down here in (The Hometown/ Capitol of Classic Rock) San Antonio Texas by the name of Joe Anthony "The Godfather" (of Classic Rock) that brought US kids bands to the forefront and sometimes at HIS own expen$e,literally. He paid for Rush to come play a concert here and they dropped by his restaurant, AC/DC and Rose Tattoo were amongst the endless plethora of bands he exposed us to and I will always,..
ALWAYS be forever grateful to boast about him until the day they put me in the dirt. I had an idea of having AC/DC,Rose Tattoo and Slade go on tour and call it AUSS--fest. Wouldn't that have made that British @#$%& Sharon's panties bunch up?

Axl's voice is failing GnR songs at times but he absolutely nailed the AC/DC songs. He sang live debuts to many Bon Scott era songs and sang many early Brian Johnson songs in a way Brian can't sing anymore.
Sammy "that's what Dreams are made of" Hagar doesn't have that level of cred that Axl has. Plus, he will always be remembered as the guy who replaced DLR in VH, so it's better he not upset another fanbase.
That being said, I am glad Brian is back at AC/DC.
And AC/DC would not want a band like Rose Tattoo as its support act because Rose Tattoo are the only Aussie band that could go toe to toe (musically speaking) with AC/DC.
Support acts are usually an accident of touring commitments and who knows who.
