      She has a British RP (Received Pronunciation) accent. It's a British accent that is mostly used by people in upper class parts of London, actors/actresses, politicians, and diplomats. Although it's most commonly taught to non-native speakers, only around 5% of the British population are native RP speakers.

    She's so charismatic. I watched her interview without batting an eye. One of the greatest actress in the world if someone asks my opinion. I hope she will get an Oscar one day.

    I saw her in Girls and Boys, she was absolutely amazing. One of the best plays I've seen. Film should give her more powerful roles like that!

    She's always been very friendly, lovely and fun in interviews but she seems so much more confident and feisty almost now too. I've adored her for years and years and I was crushed when all "Boys and girls" tickets were sold out :( I wish I could have seen her in London

    Can't wait to see her and Jake Gyllenhaal in Paul Dano's first movie as a director, Wildlife.
    Easily one of my most anticipated film of the year. :)
    Loved the book as well.

    She could easily do Laura Bacall. How her face moves, similar energy and openness, doesn't take herself too seriously. Charming and funny. All she needs is Bogart and Howard Hawks.

    I just want to say I saw Girls & Boys on my own a few weeks ago on a trip to New York, and after it was over I wandered out of the theater in a daze and sort of walked in circles for about a half an hour. That show will change you. Please go see it.
    Also, people were definitely snapping and it was... a whole thing.

      That storyline could easily have been a trilogy of movies it was so good. It was a duo (or was it a trio) of separate episodes though, so they did at least squeeze more out of it.

    Carey and Bradley should star in a movie together! I thought, it was very sweet! He took her to Urgent Care! And she said, they could care less about me! They were too busy gushing over him! I brought them a gift! LOL! She's one of my favorite actresses!

    I'm surprised Stephen Colbert didn't know what "knackered" meant. My grandparents used it all the time, and my mother sometimes. I guess it's regional here in the US, or it's generational.

    Carrie is lovely, as ever. Interesting how she mentions the speed of urgent care in the US compared to UK’s NHS. Colbert let that go rather quickly, didn’t he?

    "Knackered" comes from the practice of knackering injured, old, or retired horses. Stripping the flesh, boiling the bones for glue etc. The "knackers" yard also.
