    The skills set of every individual is different from each other and their thinking and reflex help tremendously when they are on it. But gaming is not a natural talent because it is only something that one picks up and then becomes a pro.
    We look at people who are better than us and define ourselves subconsciously as being lesser. We battle those with higher skill and we simply feel powerless, we go up against a massive challenge and we feel limited by our skill level. But the mistake here isn't going up against a challenge, it's in letting these experiences define you, in letting yourself believe that you can only accomplish so much.
    And this isn't some false dream, this isn't based on some exploit of the current meta. What I'm talking about real growth - perhaps exponential growth, achieving massive improvements in your skill level, and doing so through the process of flow.
    Flow is the sensation of influencing the activity in the gaming action whereas presence is the sense of being in the virtual world. Flow is often described as a mental state in which people experience complete immersion and involvement in an activity.

    That Flow thing is so real, whenever I feel like im in a montage or let a really sick move play out in my head I play sooo much better and that works in pretty much every competetive or freestylish game like csgo, siege, rocket league, old cod sniping for clips, all mobas and many others. Just listen to music (if possible) and enjoy yourself, competetive gaming is 50% mindset imo

      Become more brutal/fierce/selfish just like they do.. its the only way.. put yourself first.. think/predict them.. learn from them.. do anything/everything thats acheivable possible.. but by biggest amount.. work HARDD. and I mean hard.. write it down if you have to.. you want to learn the most you possibly can from a game.. its all about growth mindset.. but rather a competitive growth mindset.. think how someone else thinks and then think to counter them.. if you haven't worked hard then its gonna be difficult to beat them.. or know youve worked hard.. you need to have learned the most by end of the day.. and repeat day in/day out.. Consider Easy Way out, often is best way to winning.. which means using op characters/meta.. im sorry but its meta for a reason.. and likelihood is people will abuse those characters to be on top.. so you must do the same.. otherwise theyll go up 10x/10 fold that you will with your less than meta character/dwindling guy.. end up prodigies to your diminishing playstyle..often best strategy there is, is a PERSONAL counter strategy.. and that means a opponent-specific strategy of using characters they also use.. youve got to get personal.. in figurative way of course.. and forget about all those people who say its just game.. its not just a game.. or say how you spend too many hours on game, its hard work.. and its your leisure time and only you own that.. if you don't game then the people above you are gonna be higher thanyou ever where.. like yes it is only a game.. but a you really gonna let it slip?? and enjoy your roast turkey afterwards? youve got to get mean.. and take life by straps of its shoulders.. and toss it.. play like you mean it.. get your head into the game mindset/game of chess.. and consider that sometimes easier methods of winning are best.. its shit. its annoying but it works.. and if you want to beat those players then you have to cheat just like they do..

    You know what's funny? My Chinese teacher has described flow to me and my classmates. She said: "When you are in the flow, you are so focused that you can't stop learning. This is the fastest way to learn."
    Fun fact: Did you know that when you are in the flow, you can't hear any sounds around you except for what you are focused on? Sometimes you even become blind, you can't see anything around you while you are doing the task- and you don't notice it.

    :) The flow is when you are acting without thinking, cos your conscious mind is the one blocking the all knowing subconscious, which is a super computer through which we and everything are connected. When you dumping all the garbage of the memory knowledge and let yourself be guided only by your inner being you are becoming again one with everything and you are in that flow.

    So basically you need to push your skill level 4% over it's limit and then you'll be pro in 100 days but that's where the problem is. It's not that easy to push yourself over your limit everyday, everyone has a bad day and if you have a bad day some people get less motivation by that so just remember: You can do it, push yourself even further and failure isn't bad it's there to help you improve!

    • @joshuarowe8410
      @joshuarowe8410 6 лет назад +1

      The exponential thing this is honestly mental masturbation bullshit. The more you improve, generally it will get more difficult to reach the next level. three reasons i can think. 1) plateaus 2) bad habits - these take extra time and sometimes time NOT playing to break. the more youve been training, the harder I find it to isolate the action in your mind as you do them to try and stop doing them 3) the inherent skills that youre training become more complex, both mentally and physically.
      The idea that trying to improve a small percent each day is really good, and it will add up overtime. But it's nothing novel, and its naive to assume you can consistently compound a certain percentage a day.

    I got this flow theory when learning foreign languages. I can learn 1 language just for around 3-4 months! It was hard and slow for the first and become easier witg more time and consistency given to learn it. I felt that too in CSGO, I got better aim and spray control by doing consistent training everyday I don't really mind about ranks, skill is what matters with the game. Rank will follow, so just let it flow and enjoy the game.

    • @black5000001
      @black5000001 10 месяцев назад +1

      For languages it depends on the difficulty, for the European languages like German, French, Italian which shares a lot of similar words with English it might be somewhat easier. But, for languages that are written in different alphabets such as Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Arabic it might take at least a year. I'm currently focusing on both Japanese and Korean for intermediate and upper levels. I tend to immerse myself by watching animes, dramas, news and videos to learn new words and get my ear used to the language. Also I set my phone's language to Japanese so that I can read and see the language anywhere I go. And one more thing, taking a challenge by signing up and attending proficiency tests will boost the learning speed faster. Because, by signing up for proficiency tests like JLPT, DaF and TOPIK for example, we can have clear objective and purpose to achieve in which it also affects one's motivation to learn something @@enjioncrack7851

      @enjioncrack7851 10 месяцев назад

      @@black5000001 wow, first of all, thanks for responding, I appreciate you taking your time to come up with your reply, second, I’m learning spanish since I’ve been informed that a lot of European countries use the format, also, I will definitely sign up for the proficiency tests you’ve mentioned since I lack the motivation to continue my lessons and the tests might be the answer to my laziness, lastly, I also want to learn Japanese, but your way of learning Japanese is commendable, actually setting your phone’s language to an alphabet that is entirely different from english is so impressive.

    I studied flow at university...I'm a personal trainer and an osteopath, just wanted to share a couple of things:
    1.- flow IS real but the 1st thing is perceived ability vs perceived challenge...that's a lot. I need to train to be able to understand my ability and I need mental tools to perceive the challenge in the right way.
    2.- it's not that easy, you just have 1 Michael Jordan in 100 years or more, even if you can enter flow during every game your ability is partially depending from your genetics...at least 20%
    3.- even with a good genetic and the ability to enter in flow state remember that champions train every single day even twice a day, they live and eat well...hours of sleep/type of food is what you need to be efficient 'cuz of you don't sleep or you eat junky food your body won't have the necessary energy to work... in 1 day the nervous system alone uses 300gr. Of glucose to work properly...and in videogame I assume it's a lot more.
    4.- i know we're used to see pro gamers as bad and weak nerds but you forgot one big thing in this video..: train hard in the gym! It raises your ability to focus, helps you with stress and gives your brain a better irroration...it should make your reflexes faster too! Obviously there's no study on this topic but I bet that your overall ability will improve because...guess what? Training makes you eat better and sleep better, so we're back at point 3.
    If you have any suggestions write just down below and I hope I added something good to your knowledge.
    Happy Xmas ☺
