Funny enough I'd been talking to the neighbour this morning about if it was better to have a poor winter crop or if it was better to have waited for a good spring crop. I'm still not sure to be fair!
You are looking a lot greener than us Gerry, walked ours yesterday with the Mrs. We lost a lot to the wet I’m afraid. Fingers crossed🤞🏻we will get a crop off of it.

What is the music at 7.35...
How do you find the greenfield fertiliser? It’s the worst fertiliser I’ve ever used. Been using Goulding’s for 2 years now but would prefer yara if it wasn’t for the cost. See you’ve gone for some yara too.
I’ve used greenfield before and found it ok. It’s only the compound that greenfield. The CAN is all Yara. I nearly always use Yara to be honest

Why only travel at 10km gerry? I travel at 15km with all fert
The box on the Amazon controls the spread rate to the speed hes driving at and no need to be rushing around tearing up the field
Great to see or going out Gerry how do you do the math for calculating your speed for application rate I’ve a 1/2 tonne vicon wagtail with 10 meter working with a 2016 machine and I’m putting 1.5 bag per acre 75kg how do I calculate my speed r what’s the process cause google is as about as useful as the buck who scanned your cows after the charlious bull 😂 so myt as well as well ask some1
Daniel Gilmartin I think you would need to know how long it takes to spread it in order to get the speed
Fairly sure the box he has in the tractor calculates the speed if he was to speed up the spinners would speed up and the same if he was to slow down the spinners would slow down I could be wrong tho. Hopefully he does know because I would like to know cuz I may spread abit this year haven't spread fert in a good few years but with the way the year started it'll be needed
Just experience mainly tbh, measure how long one pass of the field is and then how many kgs you want to the one pass
