Finally a reaction that acknowledge's Howard's earth shattering high scream at the end of the song.. that right there is why I will always favour Howard above any vocalist. He KILLS it. Jesse has definitely stepped up his vocals this time around though and I respect that. Both fit perfectly on this song and I know it's a long stretch but I hope they just have both vocalists.

The radio edits are heavily edited to remove most of the screams. This is pretty similar style to most of their work really. Some other favorites you could check out: My Curse (not the radio version), Hate by Design, Rose of Sharyn, This is Absolution

Those are great songs but nowhere close to their heaviest stuff. There are many songs off of Alive or Just Breathing and As Daylight dies heavier.

Jesse Leach brought the heavy sound back into Killswitch. It was clear toward the end of the Howard era, he needed to go, especially with that last album from 2009, soft generic radio rock. Listen to Alive or Just Breathing, Disarm the Descent, or this new album Atonement, all 3 are heavy and the heavier side of Killswitch is the best.
I love Howard and his screams but his singing voice just doesn’t sound the same as it was during end of heartache and As daylight dies.
Finally! I've been waiting for this since it came out. Glad to see you both liked it. Also Aaron, you should check out a few songs from their last album. It's super heavy at times

It took me a while to realize that they're playing Fire from the Gods in the background while they talk because i listen to them so often my mind just thought I must be listening to my regular playlist and ignored it lol.
They've always sounded like this... this isn't new lol. Even the radio singles are heavily edited.
In Due Time by Killswitch is a great song and video, it's underrated in my opinion
I wonder what these two have been listening to. Cause this is the normal Killswitch sound. Just with something more special when it comes to vocals. I say keep both singers so you can have fans of both listen to them. Also them getting older is definitely a reason to keep both. Less vocal strain.

Have listened to this song a lot of times and its so pure and brilliant that tear comes to my life.
They have always had songs like this, the radio songs by them are light compared to their other stuff. This new Album and the last had a lot of heavy songs. Their other albums have heavy stuff as well.

I ONLY ever knew Last Serenade, and seeing Howard with Within Temptation (what a goddamn masterpiece that was) until tonight. I can honestly say every single song I've heard tonight lead me into battle, brought me strength I didn't know I had, or kicked me in the teeth. It's been great, and this is now my favorite KSE song. That fucking fist bump almost made me tear up. That love for the music they have both commanded.

well I had heard about 4 or so of their more popular songs, and I don't like those which made me not want to look any more into them. but after this song I dug a little deeper and found a few good songs.
