Getting South Park vibes from this technique and I love it
Cool stuff!
Your hair is pretty glorious my friend
Gracias por la técnica exelente video saludos
A huge part of that sound seems to be coming from the snapback delay.
No. Most early chicken pickers like James Burton did not use slap. That’s just a little icing on the cake. Has nothing to do with the technique
@JasonLoughlinMusic ok, to clarify: it sounds like you are muting twice when you are only muting once before popping the string, correct? That adds quite a bit, imo. Cheers!
Thanks buddy 👍
No problem 👍
Not only did you teach me chicken pickin, but you convinced me to grow my hair out. We got the same hair and damn it looks good. Mines a little less gray, but damn son.
A good compressor really helps with this stuff
I never recommend them or use them… you should be able to get an even controlled sound with your fingers.
Great lesson! What the hell kinda neck pickup is that. Love the look.
Charlie Christian pu
That was pretty nice. I liked the tone of the technique. The intro was a bit too long. Thank you!
