- Your Guide to the Ventureverse presents the fifth in a series of Venture Bros character deep dives. This video is all about the journey of Hank Venture through the first 7 seasons of The Venture Bros.
Hank is always game for whatever is next. Even when it makes no sense. The "To use as a magic wand" statement perfectly sums it up. He was so confident about that next step he didn't even question it when speaking to Orpheus.
Also, I'd argue the only one more Hank than Hank is Enrico Matassah, for he is double Hank.
If hank was properly medicated for his ADHD, I'm afraid that he may be the most potent super-scientist to date.

My dog is named Henry Allen Venture because he's too brave and not the smartest. But generally, a good dog. He pretty well personifies Hank!

When 21 and 24 are being chased by the moppets, and they discover they have tracking chips in their uniforms, so they take them off and run away naked. Then they see Hank took his clothes off, and he goes, "Well I saw you guys doing it, and I thought 'waterslide'. Its part of my DNA I think."
This video is very Hank of you, man.
I hope someday somehow you get to have a Venture Bros cameo. No one deserves it more, and I would absolutely lose my mind. Your enthusiasm for the show totally matches the energy of the show. I love the venture Brothers, and I love this channel.
It was 100% a fantasy to be like a random background voice in a crowd in the movie but that didn't happen! If they're even aware of my existence, Jackson and Doc probably think I'm a giant dork.
Hank is easily one of my favorite characters especially when he acts like batman
It got me when Hank was talking to his sleeping father on thr hospital.

I really like your in-depth deep dives of individual characters, and I hope you continue them.
If you do, would you ever consider doing a deep-dive on Dr. Henry Killinger?
While he's a character that doesn't change over the course of the series, he does help create change in others. I also like the paradox that he's arguably the most competent character in the show and still quite silly conceptually (a supervillain life coach that's a mash-up of Henry Kissinger and Mary Poppins).
He's also interesting because it's hard to know where his allegiances lie. He's technically a supervillain, but he's not outright malicious, and is content just helping other supervillains become the best possible versions of themselves.
Add on the fact that he's the brother of the Investors, and the fact that they're all these supervillain magic men of some kind help add to the overall lore of the series.
It would even be interesting to see how Killinger contrasts with his brothers the Investors, who give their clients exactly what they want (but with an evil catch that backfires on said clients), while Killinger helps his clients earn what they want.
I don't know. I just feel like there's a lot that could be talked about with regards to Killinger.
The character deep dives were supposed to be a special April thing, it spilled into May a bit because I ended up putting out my movie news video early because of the release of the trailer. I got nervous more news would happen and wanted to put it out while it was actually current. I may return to doing character videos one day, but I'm kinda sorta planning to retire from making Venture Bros videos after the movie comes out.
All that said, your take on Killinger is awesome, and I'll definitely be referencing it if I ever decide to make a Killinger video.

I started out liking Dean the most but as time went on Hank became my favorite character followed by the Monarch. I absolutely love all the characters but…everybody comes to Hanks!

I've gone back looking for other episodes but the entire podcast seems to have been scrubbed from the internet for some reason.
