Dennis explains everything in such a calm, down to earth manner that it makes me feel like knowing to ohm out a distributor should be a more frequent occurrence. As for color - any of the High Impact colors would be fine.
Dennis, I'm 58, and I have learned so much from you. Even the stuff I know how to do, I still see another approach. I also feel bad for Mrs. Debbie, trying to keep up with you. You make me laugh so hard. I tell you what, If I had it, I would spend good money to spend a week in the shop learning from you, because it would be hands-on and the education would be priceless. Keep up the great work.
I sure hope you keep these videos going I watch every one I find. I just love watching that 55 go down the track, you have a great racing team going there. Hope you can keep her going.
Dennis..I have been involved with your content for a long time..Today..oct. 24...is the firist time I struck Flint !!..sister golden hair backing music..well done, sir. I was stationed in England..East Anglia..with the Intel Service of the All Intel Service..I had a band..Country Generation..when America came out, I , and the band, was most impressed.a band of US highschool students..breaking out in London..My band was fully on board!!!!!
Dennis. Ironically that tool you used to cut the windshield out with is called a cold knife. But if you heat it with a torch,it will cut right thru that sealer like butter.
the brains behind the whole operation...........DENNIS TAYLOR.....keep it up sir.....i subbed right after you put the channel up...from san gabriel valley originally now a resident of newton kansas...i miss going to Huntington beach...
Oh my god we got go fast and be pretty over here!!!!! We missed you kiddo!!!! But just know we love your mom and dad too so you better keep running around the shop smiling!!!!
Your whole family has an excellent relationship I love the back and forth banter and commeradery. Would have paid money to see you and Alex in Jump Suits
Note on footwear should be using shoes without laces they take too long to get off and the laces trap hot bits ..also learned from bad experience DO NOT WEAR SYNTHETIC SOCKS COTTON OR WOOL are ok but any synthetic material melts into your flesh causing sever burns ..have scars to prove and that wound took a really long time to heal
Dennis an old windshield replacement friend showed me how to remove a windshield using the exact tool that you have, BUT he would heat the cutting blade up with a propane torch first, so you don't have to pull that hard.
Same issue in HVAC industry. Suppliers get returns but don't check the box. Dishonest people swap stuff out all the time. It was always bad in the middle of winter trying to get a families heat back on and you pull the "new" part out and it is damaged or swapped. Shops closed so they have to wait without heat. Then you take it in and they accuse you of trying to rip them off. PEOPLE.... be HONEST. Pebble in a pond ... what you do can affect others way down the line.
Chrysler rear ends are different if you’re unfamiliar with them. They have a floating spacer in the diff, you put driver side in first. Then you put in the passenger side which is adjustable. The axles but together against the spacer in the diff so you can adjust out the end play, I’ve never had to replace a wheel bearing on any Mopar I’ve owned.
The Mopar guys will tell you to keep the taper bearing.. the ball bearings today suck and don't last. Birdsong got a few thousand miles out of last set.
wonderful video i have not seen one of those cuda s in years! grandpa liked only certain dodges -the rest were a pain in the butt-it also depended on what part of the car he had to work on. good job debbie!- david from arkansas
I'm old school so I like the American racing wheels they look good on anything and if the car is sliver or charcoal gray they really look good my friend had a cornet RT that was gray with those wheels it looked great I had a turquoise 66 big block 4 speed chevelle with those wheels I kept the wheels when I sold the car and I put them on my 69 chevelle.
Great video I like how you explain everything and show different things like the windshield and some people like you said don’t know about the Wilwood brakes. I bought a master cylinder kit and a brake pedal kit. Same thing look like the box have been open half the parts missing column oh yeah, we take care of it never took care of it, no more will break for me. Great video. Can’t wait till the next one.
I have had a plasma cutter for 30 years. I have a fairly new Thermal Dynamics unit and I use them for what they are good for. Like cutting a floor out of a car. They are the next thing to a hatchet and a chain saw. My ceiling in my front shop is brown from those nasty things. My least favorite tool in my shop.
Thanks Dennis for splurgin and paying a copywright for some good musics. And its not haand foot, parking ,what ever its AN EMERGENCY BRAKE ,dang it. thank you
classic cuda color loved by all, plum crazy purple, and alternately sassy grass green, i want a cuda bad, unfortunately they have blown the value scale
McLaren is usually black. The letter in the logo are black with a little red. The F1 McLaren from the late 90s was introduced in silver (remember need for Speed 2 videogame?), so I'm thinking, leave the car as it is.
its nice to watch some one else work and run into problems i thought it was just me but you handled it different than i do lots of swear words can be heard untill i figure out thats a wast of time
Hey guys, I closed my shop and have some cool stuff to give to my friends. But Smiley Smullins gave me a Youngblood signed, limited edition poster of Wild Wiley. Would you like it for your shop? Nice picture.
The term “Cali” has been around for nearly a century (at the very least). Why do some Californians consider it cringey today? “Slang words have their own built-in obsolescence. And it’s a way of marking divides - generational, regional, insider versus outsider,” “Maybe ‘Cali’ at one point was a way for the insiders to talk about the place. But as soon as it gets coopted, and popularized, then it inverts itself and becomes a marker for someone who is on the outside.” us Hot Rodders from the 1960s and 70s Until present have never used that word . I always use SoCal.
We totally had zero to do with the selection and don’t know the first thing about F1. Didn’t know they ever used a fox body but with that said McLaren is a huge problem with everything. We couldn’t even say it was a Barracuda. Couldn’t show the engine, couldn’t actually use McLaren Orange but it was for McLaren. Go figure.
Well McLaren in the late 60's and early 70's changed to their weird papaya orange color. Dennis said we wouldn't like the color so guessing the color is gona be Papaya Orange 🙄 I'm thinking this is not a period correct restoration so factory color is out the window and McLaren's gona represent McLaren.
Seems kinda ho-hum, for a DTHR project, especially for having a stock driveline. Too bad they didn’t give y’all some input during the conceptualization. Interesting just the same and thanks for sharing.
Cal, Cal, Cal that’s what Californians say. Cali is for posers. I don’t know a single person in Cal that says Cali. Get with it you used to live in Cal.
N0 flip flop. 🔥 stuff & feet scar ' zz don't want it fall in your b00t when pop z off ouch.. Thank you.Chat people Dennis Taylor educational experience
What a great song choice. Love it.
I'm super excited about this channel! Love Alex and all her fun activities but Dennis is the man!!!
Loved all the good music during the time lapse
Real music.
You two together are so much fun to watch. And have taught us alot.
I learn something every video , thank you Dennis
Dennis explains everything in such a calm, down to earth manner that it makes me feel like knowing to ohm out a distributor should be a more frequent occurrence. As for color - any of the High Impact colors would be fine.
Thanks Dennis 👌
Such an awesome channel. Yours too Alex lol.
That black spider at 23:35 had me yelling at the screen!😮I love all sides of your builds, Fab and Technical. Thank you for sharing your knowledge 💯
Didn't even knew this channel existed Dennis. Now i must watch the COE vids, its been years since ive first seen it
Absolutely love your videos! So in depth and good building tips that I’m glad you’re willing to share.
Dennis is the Best. I feel like I'm getting a Masters in Hot Rod building, from the best professor ever!
It is awesome to watch videos by people my age. America is one of my all-time favorite bands...
The car has a great stance , good job Dennis

Im right there with ya, i learn something new everytime i watch.
So glad you started your own channel. I’m glued to the set. Appreciate the tutorials thank you!!
I sure hope you keep these videos going I watch every one I find. I just love watching that 55 go down the track, you have a great racing team going there. Hope you can keep her going.
That bearing press was Noteworthy.

underneath the shelves of gearhead heroes....these are some of the fabricated rearend parts I used to make....wowzer!
Another great video and great collaboration with Alex’s channel
Dennis. Ironically that tool you used to cut the windshield out with is called a cold knife. But if you heat it with a torch,it will cut right thru that sealer like butter.
You got the "coolest"ole lady ever. You are a blessedman, treat her good.

Came over from Alex's channel. THANX ALEX!

Why would spending time to lace up boots matter? The time people spend on their phones is longer than it takes to lace up boots..
AS ALWAYS IT'S BEEN A PLEASURE 🎉 ALL THREE OF YOUR GUY & GAL's CHANNELS ROCK🎉
Dennis an old windshield replacement friend showed me how to remove a windshield using the exact tool that you have, BUT he would heat the cutting blade up with a propane torch first, so you don't have to pull that hard.
Can’t go wrong with torque thrust wheels on 70’s muscle car

Be good to drill holes in the hood scoop insert to make them a little functional on a hot track

Thanks for the new terminology Dennis.😂.😂😂
I would have loved to have had a dad like yours.
The Mopar guys will tell you to keep the taper bearing.. the ball bearings today suck and don't last. Birdsong got a few thousand miles out of last set.
All the mopar people i know use Green bearings and never look back. I've got thousands of miles while pulling a trailer without issues.

Sweet I love mopars
Plasma cutter would probably be a good upgrade for the shop. I'm about the same age as you (68 model) and know it's hard to get away from old school.
I have had a plasma cutter for 30 years. I have a fairly new Thermal Dynamics unit and I use them for what they are good for. Like cutting a floor out of a car. I vote for purple and black
Dennis - you would look sweet in a jumpsuit HA
Thanks Dennis for splurgin and paying a copywright for some good musics. And its not haand foot, parking ,what ever its AN EMERGENCY BRAKE ,dang it. thank you
Blue
Deb needs a raise, she has about 12 jobs ( thst I've seen), & Steel toe shoes!! ha
Stick with the wheels you have on there now , remind me of Crager wheels from back in the day
Great Closing, lmao
A vote here for the grey 5 spoke wheels, American Classic or whatever they are.
Finally something up my alley. E body Content . Is that a 340 under the hood ?
classic cuda color loved by all, plum crazy purple, and alternately sassy grass green, i want a cuda bad, unfortunately they have blown the value scale

Never work on Mopars!?!?! Such a shame.
I did changes to many things, and extra parts like your Axle gasket were included, ?? possibly it was for Axle spacing to the rotors??
its nice to watch some one else work and run into problems i thought it was just me but you handled it different than i do lots of swear words can be heard untill i figure out thats a wast of time
Dennis I enjoy your Channel but my favorite fabrication is still FF1
colour..as it sits..silver !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!McLaren..eat your heart out.
I think sub lime green would look great on it but I think they will pick panther pink.

No color change!
Should be a legit McLaren Mustang Fox body if you respect history.
We totally had zero to do with the selection and don’t know the first thing about F1. Didn’t know they ever used a fox body but with that said McLaren is a huge problem with everything. Those are so sick. So incredibly sick.
My dream car 70 Cuda
I like the tune but RUclips might not
do they make sealed bearings for older cars?
Iv wanted one of those cudas since the age of about 7 years old
love cudas
I like it best just like it is.....
I wear open leather sandles all the time..if it hurts..bad on me..🙃
Well McLaren in the late 60's and early 70's changed to their weird papaya orange color. Orange
Yessssss 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Back when mopar was good dodge popped the bed in 80’s in my book well was 50/50 shoot if you got good vehicle 🚗
Boy better watch that music stuff on there they will want there money
They got their money. We paid for it.
Color? Mopar used Skittles colors
Yellow or jet black
pink
Could have Sworen You Said, "the easy parts were left" - guess that's why your a Chevy man!!! 😂
👍✌
Cuda yellow
Dennis..^I knew that and I'm excited "..😂😂
Obviously, needs to be McLaren Orange, duh. Hopefully you got a Hellcat engine for it...
Well. It’s not. McLaren won’t allow anyone to use their orange even if it was for them.
Seems kinda ho-hum, for a DTHR project, especially for having a stock driveline. Too bad they didn’t give y’all some input during the conceptualization. Interesting just the same and thanks for sharing.
Keep the wheels.
It's a mopar enough said I'll stick with GM
They should have left the paint alone and not wrapped that car!
Nobody in CA calls it Cali!! MAKE IT STOP!! hahaha… good work on the cuda. More COE!
You mean the Socialist Republic of California? It's not a state, it's a communist country.
Not interested in mopar anything
Cal, Cal, Cal that’s what Californians say. Cali is for posers. I don’t know a single person in Cal that says Cali. Get with it you used to live in Cal.
I have to ask , Did you grow up in so cal and are you related to Ed Taylor Auto Parts from Pomona ?
Thanks to California that why 🤔 cars fome some where around 73 74 and up have continued to get worse 🫣💯🏁🔥
Probably has more to do with corporate greed than location
N0 flip flop. 🔥 stuff & feet scar ' zz don't want it fall in your b00t when pop z off ouch..

I think it should be Chrysler.
plum crazy
