I was there last night at the Centenario Stadium in Montevideo. Plenty of people, sold out, 50k people there. Great show, fascinating. Not much a 'beatles show' like other times but this time much more intimate, with more of his songs, plenty of mentions and homages to John and George, so emotional. Looked like his personal homage to them and the Beatles from the very first song he played: It's been a hard day's night, maybe alleging to the band career and his own. The show sounded like he was saying "hey friends, I'm here and I'm missing you". Touching. I went with my daughter and we ended up crying, we felt it was our last time being there with our beloved Paul. Though, he promised to get back.
Fun video Dino. I cant see him ever doing Silly love Songs again. Linda was such an integral part of that song that it just wouldn't sound the same without her despite how great the band are vocally. Loved the impersonation, pissed myself laughing so did my missus. great stuff
@beatleytonesbeatleschannel Well I live in hope of him performing ones I Like, but I guess we all do and It is a nice image of you and your missus peeing yourself.... 😂😂😂
Hi Dino, really glad to have finally found a video without any subliminal messaging! Hard to find these days. Pretty pleased with the setlist, although it hasn't changed much from when I saw him last year, it's such a great setlist that I can't really complain. Although I would like a certain Christmas song in the latter dates of the tour. Are you headed to any of the soundchecks in the UK/Paris? If so, I'd say your chances of hearing Coming Up are pretty high! Or back-to-back nights in London or Manchester he might change it up, in Australia he swapped out Come On To Me for Coming Up when he played Sydney back to back. Either way my fingers are crossed for you. Start counting down the days, even more exciting now that the 2024 leg has officially begun!
@boyanarcher8083 Hi Boyan, thanks for this, I expect Wonderful Christmas time to be played in December and hopefully Mull of Kintyre. If Fuh You gets dropped for Coming Up that will be fabulous 🙂🎸
Great video Dino! Love your T - shirt, I was there at Get Back to Glasgow standing at the very front- still got my free programme, but I didn’t get a T- shirt! All the best!
