There is footage of 'Juniors Farm' on RUclips, and I remember it being used on an opening to an episode of 'This is Your Life' Looking at the credits, song references were given to music that didn't appear in the film. Peculiarly including 'Billy Don't be a Hero' ...
No matter the quality of the film, I loved the movie and enjoyed the amazing sound quality and the brilliant playing by all in the band. Though if it is being considered for commercial release on DVD and Blu-ray, then please clean up the picture quality, esp for Blu-ray (which is my preferred media) I just want to say how impressed I was with everyone in the band, but Jimmy McCulloch's playing, esp on My Love, Maybe I'm Amazed and Band On The Run were stunning, and we truly lost a great guitar player when he sadly passed away. I do have one question for you Dino. The song Suicide, I feel certain that there is a snippet of this song between a couple of tracks on McCartney from 1970, am I hearing things or is it on there? So glad you enjoyed the movie Dino. Did you find that the time from Paul's first intro to the very end credits after the backyard set just flew by? Felt like it had only been on about 45 mins when it had been on for around an hour and twenty. All the best and Peace n Love. Terry.
Hi Terry, thanks for watching, One Hand Clapping finished way too soon as did the Backyard Tapes, Jimmy really shone and I have always said he gave Wings Balls and really rock. It shows what an amazing great band they really were 🙂👐🎸
Thanks, good review & have to agree about Paul & his ballads much prefer his guitar rockers.Albeit i love McCartney & have all his guest appearances on other artists albums/songs---one helluva lot!!!
Thanks for the comment, there is no denying Paul's amazing ballads and piano playing, but when he straps on his bass and rocks out on Soily, Jet, Beware My Love, Letting Go etc.... you can see the joy in his face and strutting.... 😂👐
Hi Rory, I think bits that were cut is so everything has not been seen and will get an official BluRay release with the whole lot, I hope my theory is right! 😅 🙂👐🎸
Oops, thanks that will teach me to make notes before.. I always get confused with, I'll give you a ring and Ode to A Koala bear and which B side they are 😂 🙂👐
So the quality of a film shown in a cinema doesn’t matter? Nonsense . And why is there voice overs on some of the best songs? It’s a shambles. Stick to the album
I totally get your valid point, but listening is just half the enjoyment, I like to visually see things.I remember back in the 80s having awful VHS tapes of concerts almost unwatchable 😅. However I did expect One Hand Clapping visually to be way better 🙂👐
I love the Paul ballads/piano stuff. Paul is so immensely talented.
You ate right Paul's talent is limitless 🙂👐🎸

They also cut blackbird from the garden tapes, no Beatles songs so seems like a licensing issue ?

I'll give you a ring was the B-side of Take it Away
