Hhaha yes i agree with that as well. I doubt we are ever going back fully but something needs to come back. Capcom is going to base it off "popularity" and "usage", the sad truth is by simplifying the horn the player count did increase, and capcom will take that as "good feedback" and continue pushing the new horn.

The rampage skill Maximum Volume also affects Bead of Resonance, essentially doubling its range (doesn't affect Sonic Wave, not sure if it affects the bead's shockwaves). Can be nice since the bead is stationary. Still wouldn't prioritize over it over other rampage skills, though.
Here’s the thing. Im sure everyone is new at one point so sure we suck when we are new. Inexperience is what i call it. They were new once, I was new once and some are new now. But not everyone who is new sucks on the same level, We may all be inexperienced and unfamiliar with mh specific mechanics when we start, but some of us play enough games in general to have better game sense. With that being said, an insightful detailed guide like yours is greatly appreciated for us who are new to Rise Hunting Horn.
Alot of my knowledge was proven wrong by this video with actual video proof, one of the more head scratching one was about when does the hyper armor start on Earthshaker. Got to learn alot of new things as well... Although i am not sure what do you mean by HH since capcom forgot to add that weapon in rise, either ways this is very useful and easy to understand guide, keep up the content ❤️
thanks for watching dude. earthshaker hyper armor only starts once the hunter starts pulling back the string, but i didn't want to over complicated thigns so i just show you guys the timing. all timings of hyper armor is exactly where it starts to where it ends. We have musical dual blades here😂except DB got a lot of s bro.

I have to disagree with the stated reason as to the removal of the flourish and the hilt stab. Those 2 attacks actually added multi level utility to the horn. More than just a quick way to que notes; even though the hilt stab will never be the dominant choice for the job, it allow the hh to be the only blunt weapon that also does cutting dmg. And regarding the flourish atk; both hits came at a different angle, so the second hit of the flourish adds a different angle of atk; which increased deeps for a slower moving weapon
The comparisons in this video primarily take world into account, and not older games. In world, the hilt stab and flourishes primary purpose is as shortcuts for notes. Both moves are unimpressive when it comes to damage, and the hilt stab is a poor choice if cutting dmg is your primary concern, u would use a cutting weapon instead. Also all the points u pointed out are already stated in my world guide :) appreciate the feedback tho

Personally, I see hilt stab being the most efficient move as a shortcut 2 string 2 super pounds together. In terms of what the devs intended for the flourish and hilt stab to be I say this; they also classify yhe hh as a 'support weapon. I currently have a video entitled More Than A Support Weapon on my editing table. You also offer an exceptional project that underscores how much a beast this weapon is in the right hands. If anything, what we as HH mains have proven is that we can't be put in boxes we didn't create for out Weapon. Doots up
"look how they massacred my boy!" damn, as a HH devotee on MHW it's sad as hell to see what they have done to the horn... I will say there's a couple of changes I like. All notes using the same color system is a godsend. Too many times in world swapping horns meant different colors would get me confused. Not a big deal, but I do like that. More damage is always nice. Other than that though MHW Hunting Horn was a thing of beauty. I hope they bring back elements of it for MH6 / MHW2
Any chance you can show us a primordial malzeno run to understand how to play hh against it well and exploit openings? Would really appreciate it. Doesn’t have to be the best run - big issue is there are little hh runs out there, not many.

great video! extremely informational. i wanted to ask, does the maximum volume skill also effect the bead of resonance's range? if so, how much? i want it to be good but i feel every time i place the bead the monster just moves too far away from it for it to hit.
yea the max volume does improve the beads range. I can't remember exactly how big tho, I havent touched sunbreak in a while now. I only ever found the bead good for double triggering instant songs, like heal songs when you run dereliction/bloodlust/berserk type of skill that inflicts self damage.
@@MrCadrigar since ur asking about comfort, i think the melodies would be what u look at. Sharpness regen is very comfortable, the narwa horn is also very comfy especially if ur running a thunder build with health drain effects such as bloodlust/dereliction, because it can heal back the loss health. The valstrax horn is very comfy due to the long white sharpness as well, just easy to build around. These require u to have higher MR tho, so i guess atm just build it based on melodies that could help u grind for higher MR, I don’t remember very well what horns are unlocked at MR 2
If the old hunting horn is not back on MH6 in some way, shape or form, I won't be buying it, same as rise, it's was my favorite weapon and I can't stomach the new one. 😢

Old horn was so much more satisfying. If it's not back in some form or another in MH6, I am going to be severely disappointed.
