He's setting the tone of the story for the rest of the dlc, and he makes a funny joke about crows hair and then ghost says some stupid shit, like "I like his hair." It's only my theory but the prismatic and the concept that their thoughts manifest inside the traveller seem to have some sort of inspiration from the movie "Annihilation". Then again, it might just be a coincidence.
This whole campaign seemed very Dante’s Inferno with Cayde as our Virgil leading us through hell on the way to a deeper understanding and conquering of our demons
I missed the cutscene with Ghost right before meeting Cayde, Zavala's cottage scene, Zavala and Cayde Meeting, The Campfire scene and Ikora's theory lol. some of the best, most emotional cutscenes
So here's what we've learned: Zavala is the one most vulnerable throughout the campaign and will most likely later on. Cayde is apparently a figment of thought from Crow. Our Ghost may be the next one in line after Targe, in which I am severly worried. Again with the temporary alliance with Savathün. Then again, we have Eliksni and Cabal as our allies, so what's more to the roster. And, to no surprise, Byf is gonna have a field day with this sh*t.
When I saw that cutscene in which appears the astronaut from D1 I started to cry… it have been almost 10 years since I played the game for the first time
I think it would be cool to see Cayde be able to give someone light powers and resurrect them as if he was their Ghost, cause Ghost told us he reads like a Ghosts energy

10 years ago, I’ve always got excited to get home after school to hop onto Destiny. Now I’m excited to get home after work to play. Haven’t felt this exited to play since D1 I mean I’ve felt excited to play before but not as excited as this

So, I'd say Act 1 of the Final Shape was pretty fun. all things considered given launch server issues and getting used to the prismatic. I can't wait to play Act 2 and 3.
