    I knew at least 2 people in this reel.
    I grew up in Brixton MARKET, we OWNED the BAKERY and 2 other shops in the MARKET, the very last
    Man at the end , " I want cut it "..his name was " 50p", ..the heavy set lady at the cab shop was named ' pearl Burrows '..I knew 50p from the " Angel pub " , we were the landlords of that business too...those were really great times , it was the ' end of Brixton, ? I left London 40years ago.I live in NYC... I am 60..." soferno B",.. used to be the ' resident sound '
    For 'Bali Hai ', which in 70s was voted club of the year..it was above the skating rink ..streatham.

      @@legacyouternational305 the first girl I ever fell in love with was a chubby blonde girl, ..she smelled like, ' Pee ' , .. I thought it to be STRANGE that she smelled of pee ,
      Because I thought that we were too old to STILL be having those type of issues , ..we were eight years old...

    The Teddy Pendegrass album seen at 3:25 was released in June 1978. So I think this footage was filmed in Summer 1978.

    3:23-3:57 I see the album cover of Teddy Pendegrass - When Somebody Loves You Back (1978). I presume this original footage is from 1978 or 1979?.

    It is so wonderful to what Brixton was like in the 70s, it is such a memorable place , filled with love. Do you have clips of the black community in the 1970s tooting?

      I remember Tooting too ,... in the 60's and 70s , I have lived in America for 40YEARS but I used to go to Franciscan jr School my friends went to Ernest Bevin and my cousin went to Ensham girls School ...on Franciscan road , I used to go to Lots o fun " ,..pin ball arcade , EVERY evening after School, beside Tooting
      Broadway tube station..in 1972 ?? 50 years ago ,...wow .
