Christian Scott gives me right handed Chris sale vibes. The arm slot is a little more over the top where sale is more 3/4 almost side arm at times but the legs and the follow through are pretty similar.
Streaky is an understatement 3 for like 50 stretch from Alvarez. He needs to be more consistent, but he’s young & if he is just a bit more consistent he can be closer to .240 & 30+ bombs. I don’t get picking parada bc he was mostl valued as a catcher, but he’s not very good defensively & hasn’t hit. Baty needs to get 1 1/2-2 months of running time. I think Acuña, Parada one of the younger prospects & possibly if McNeil has a strong start for Dylan Cease or a more desirably, peralta. Mets have a ton of Shortstops. I was disappointed they didn’t get a SP instead of Acuña. I think there’s so much bulldogs in Williams & Gilbert. They both remind me of nimmo. Only healthy *knocked on wood* & are younger. Mets need to get SP & run production. They don’t need HR as much as RBIs, but man I feel like this is the last yr for Pete which is a MISTAKE. He’s a leader & loves the city & the team & power hitters don’t grow on trees, imho.
Here's the thing with Luisangel Acuña: yes, he has a smaller frame than his brother and the power isn't astronomical rn, but it doesn't mean that he can't add more power to his game. Case & point: José Altuve. He has an even smaller frame than Luisangel and didn't add power to his game until his age 25 season (5th MLB season). He was a similar player to what Luisangel is rn as well. High contact IF with blazing speed. Also, aside from Gilbert, the other trade acquisitions numbers were down as well. Likely due to adjusting to a new division/league midway through the season. I'm not putting too much stock in the dip due to that.
Really excellent video. I'm going to disagree with you on two points, one major, one minor. First, I see Jett Williams as the No. 1 untouchable prospect. He is the most pro-ready player of prospects not already on the major league roster. He has an elite understanding of the strike zone and amazing pop considering his frame, and has shown he can play multiple positions. He sounds hungry in interviews, combined with his small frame which indicates he plays with a chip on his shoulder. minor quibble with Acuna, his speed is so disruptive that any time he puts the ball on the ground he's a base hit threat. he can literally steal first base. Whether or not he can make that type of contact consistently remains to be seen.
Include an untouchable and make a blockbuster trade for EDWIN DIAZ'S brother from the REDS. He could be the set up man for EDWIN and if EDWIN (GOD forbid) falters, he could be the closer.
Fans just want to trade top prospects consistently. We’ve done that and it hasn’t worked out. Time to build from within and use resources we have with cohens money to build a sustainable winner
Im 100 percent sure that i like what we have in our farm sistem close to be in MLB i can wait to see them in the Show helping are team this year and we will b playing in October and we will win a world series this year Lets go Mets P.R. judea
I really like alverez..the best so far..I think he will continue to improve..baty..give I'm another year..see what happens..vientos..dh for sure..and id really like to see acuna..as I'm hot about him
Save your breath and energy we as Mets fan are in for a horrible season because of the two Owner's ever. Until this team is sold this is a disaster year after year. Steve Cohen and the Wilpon's are looking to get a Casino thede two Hedge fund Crook's are broke that's why they never signed any pitchers especially Relief pitching.
Francisci Alvarez should bat behind Alonso!

💯 on Vientos and Baty might pull it off. Scott looks like a pro already.
