  • On day three of our visit to the Never Summer factory in Denver, CO, we started to really see the snowboard take shape. We'd already compiled all the necessary ingredients: the top sheet graphic, core, edges, and base. The fun part is really putting the whole thing together. With some rubber for dampening, fiberglass layers, carbon strips, and a bunch of epoxy, we assembled our snowboard sandwich and then threw it in the press. See what goes into the full snowboard layup process in our live video, then tune in for day four where we will put the finishing touches on the deck and make it fully rideable
Stay tuned this week for the rest of the snowboard building process, streaming live on Facebook.com/TWSNOW kicking off each day at 12pm MST (11 PST).
If you miss the live broadcast, not to worry. Just check back here on TWSNOW.com for the full videos which will be posted daily.

What is the general thickness of the fibre glass sheets, rubber, the plastic base graphic and the pre tensed fibre glass?
Really great videos, glad to know what goes into the boards.

You cant Buy the Resin they use and it has to be heated to min 115 Degrees. Just use West Systems Epoxy, any Working time will Do, depending on your workspace environment temperature.

Does NEVERSUMMER do "more hands on" tech than say more automated production? AKA Human hand versus machine/robotic "perfection"(?)

I'm literally pondering careers at this point in life & as a snowboard instructor/tuner/political activist this job looks mighty perty riight naaaaaow If I do say so myself

This video was stressing me out and I was screaming at my phone. He kept talking during the process. I want to know HOW the board is mad, not to listen to you talk randomness.

NeverSummer may produce great snowboards but their top layer designs are cringy af. They always look like a 14-year-old wannabe goth kid made it

Die cut bases suck, most high-level snowboarders don’t ride “ camber/rocker/camber” style profiles, the graphics on the top sheet are pretty dull & boring, not to mention the bottom. Sorry
