It premiered first in Brazil and I already watched it. Hellboy: the Crooked Man is the best movie! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What was the soundtrack? Was it like horrorish
For anyone who is familiar with the story and Hellboy comics in general, many of them are weaker in the third act. Mignola is infamous for “Aw shucks! Holy crap!” dues ex machina endings in his stories. Expecting some massive climactic final battle is not in line with the character and story at all and I hope Hollywood doesn’t wreck the comic’s story like in the first attempted reboot.
I watched the movie and to be honest i like it
I'd like to be optimistic about this film. It says something of the creators love for the medium and character when Hellboy has gotten so many movies - each with such unique interpretations and styles. I'm sure I'll be a bit biased because of my nostalgic-love for the Del Toro films, but am also really excited by the idea of a Hellboy film fully embracing the horror elements of the genre/comic series.
Del toro needs to make another hellboy so perlman will come back!

As much as Love those movies this one actually looks way better then those it’s how I wanted the 3rd reboot movie to be a dark horror hellboy movie but sadly it didn’t live up to it but this one looks good can’t wait to watch already red the comic to fun fact Mike Mignola the man who writes the comics was also involved in this movie
The first trailer was bad, but the movie could be more promising.
I just read the comic this is based on, and if its half as good as that, this film will be just fine.
hellboy 2 was an astoundingly good movie that really doesnt get the credit it deserves
I agree, the issue that I believe messed it with Mike Mignola's essence of Hellboy, is that the movie was more action comedy than a sort of Noir, Gothic, Dark story with comedic elements. A good example is the animated movies that were made after the first Hellboy film, which has the movie cast voicing their characters. These stories ARE more of a Comic book accurate, and managed to have the essence of the Mignola comics, cause they didn't follow the actual live action movies at the time, and were pretty good themselves.
Mignola expressed these issues with Guillermo del Toro on the 2nd Hellboy film, but Del Toro pushed on his take on the characters and made it to be an action, adventure fantasy film with lots of comedy, but also Del Toro pushed a sort of Shrek path with Hellboy having a relationship and then kids coming up. If you pick up the Hellboy comics from way back then, you'll see what I mean and in a way, you would get Mignola's point of view. That doesn't take away that the films are indeed good, but deviate heavily from what Hellboy is...well, the second film did mostly.
Was good story and twisting dangerously epic
Bring Guillermo Del Toro back!! Every other director that has tried Hell Boy doesn’t understand the character!! Del Toro is the only one that does!!
That’s a bullshit excuse maybe the 2019 but Brian Taylor understand the character completely. I look at the interviews it’s you people who don’t understand the character from the comics.
It was good but 90% of the sound effects was terrible, irritating and unnecessary.

If this is accurate with the comics...then I'm glad I don't read comics. Because I was bored to tears and quit halfway through, couldn't take it anymore. Boring, confusing, stupid and I would rather watch paint dry. 0 of 10!
Bizarrely Epic
The cinematography, from the trailer looks so bland and boring!! When Del Toro did things it felt colorful and alive. I want that back!!

Different filmmaker different style. As a filmmaker I can say from experience that it’s not what you want it’s what we want. It just so happens that style applies to people
I liked Harbour's portrayal in the last movie, but it just can't compare with the first two. Overall that movie was not good. The re-do of the origin story stood out to me me as how terrible the scene was compared to the original. I'm not hopeful for this one.
It's good it's not a full on action movie tho but makes you want a sequel when it ends
I've seen it. It's a Hellboy +1 story. I'd rather had a movie centered on the Hellboy character. I don't see the film doing well.
Not all hellboy story had to be centered on Hellboy in the comics
