Never lose this, Scotland. Never lose this to the winebars or the dodgy financiers or the suits.

How people can just stand still while seeing this band play 🤦♀️
When history tells us of enemy troops being frightened by the sound of bagpipes coming through the woods or over the hill, it's not those spit and polish pipe bands I think of.
It's these wild dudes.
God bless these lads!
Is it any little wonder that the rivalry between England and Scotland since before the Roman Conquest, which failed to make any significant inroads to Scotland past Hadrians' Wall, has persisted down the ages. This as a part of Scotland's heritage and will remain so for centuries to come. With the sound of the pipes and drums in your ranks, you would march to hell and back, and then ask when are we going again.
I am English but my Mother's side of the family are Scottish. Perhaps the reason why my passion for the sound of the Bagpipes is second only to that of any true Scot. My grandfather was born and raised in Glasgow, we were very close when he was alive. He used to cry every "festival of remembrance", held at the Royal Albert Hall, when the pipes and drums of the Highlanders entered the scene. Probably because he remembers having lost so many friends and relatives to the same "tunes of glory" in the trenches. A great man who played his part in keeping the UK safe and free.
Not sure about your Roman history . Better check up with Bruce Fummie in You Tube. The pipes stir all our hearts and the sacrfice and bravery of our soldiers in so many wars makes most of us cry.
Real authentic Scots musicians. Right down to the hair and clothes. Loved it. 👏👏👏🏴
How awesome is this! People don't loose your country's traditions,no matter what country you from. This is just beautiful. 🥰
@@evelineyoung7709 my Canada is losing its traditions ….and quick.
If this music automatically makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, you know you're of Scottish descemt. Proud member of Clan Ross , northeastern AL & southeastern/middle TN.
That happens to me, though I'm of jewish/german descent and live in the Netherlands. :P
For me it started at a local fairly large highlands event when I was like 13~14. Near the end of the day like 10 full bagpipe bands all played schotland the brave together. I was sitting right in front. It was so powerful, overwhelming, and just pure awesome that I fell in love with bagpipe music.
Irish descent But it's brilliant music ❤️
@Sylvia Ross A Jamaican member of the Carby Clan here. Lol. This music lifts my Soul and brings tears to my eyes.
Myself as well! And yes. As a drummer I love this
Ah, yes, I'll never get tired of hearing this one! Clanadonia has made my morning even better now!

What's your favourite piece they play? I just love watching and listening to them.

THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! I LOVE SCOTLAND FOREVER!!
Now picture them with woad faces and wild hair, screaming over the mountains towards you and understand the terror they engendered
If I could meet the person who invented the bag pipes, I'd kiss them right on their mouth. There's something about them that stirs the soul.
Just can't understanding why people are just standing around... if I were there I'd be dancing up a storm LOL... the Scottish bagpipes and drums just move your soul!!!
Same!! Id be twirling, clapping and cheering! XD
These guys are the Scottish version of ZZ Top!
I love Clanadonia. They are so much fun to watch. Luckily you can hear them well before you see them so easy enough to find when they are playing.
I'm Seminole Indian, And Scottish, And Irish. And my Family won't let me Drink.
I LOVE THE PIPES ! MY FAMILY ARRIVED IN AMERICA IN 1628 FRUM IRELAND
I am a descendant of Duncan Campbell Murray of the clan Murray
They should do more screaming.. Like some incoherent sht and buggin out.. And finish it off with a nice loud-FREEEEEDOM!!!
Way cool! This reminds me of my friend from college, Bonnie. I was studying for midterms & all of a sudden I heard bagpipes. My roommate thought I was nuts but I went out into the hall & a crowd of gals was standing outside Bonnie's room. I walked over to them & saw Bonnie facing the far wall of her room & playing the bagpipes with gusto. Amazing. We coaxed her into playing her bagpipes for a dorm party & all the guys were stunned that this petite, 5' tall gal was able to play so loudly.
Great band love the drummers and bagpipes also. And they are all such characters.
Imagine marching into battle with this at your back . . . Id say a prayer for the enemy
Screw ‘em
mikey breeding really they never made a good job at Culloden !
@@grossleg123 brave warriors led by inept commanders 🏴
What battle? With whom? Where? When?........
an american tourist lassie asked the rsm [regimental sargeant major at edinburgh castle why they play the pipes in battle and he replied 'so they ken whose coming and how long they have to live '
Proper kilts
How do you not like a man in a kilt 😎
Totally agree, more men should wear skirts
Look at everyone having fun, shoulder to shoulder. No worries, No virus. I want that back, I want to not worry every day for my health, my job. I just want back the life we took for granted. The fun we didn't know could so quickly be taken from us!
Virus hoax is getting old...all for power grabs.
You just have to do it...!
Dont be affraid of a virus, you weren't affraid of the Flu your whole life so just live it... no worries. Have fun and live.. this is what the government dont want you to have anymore
@@dacawone right on!!!!

Clanidonia rocking it out 1700's style. Go to war or a party, or a war party.

Scotland is in my soul! ♥️🏴
ABSOLUTELY BLOODY BRILLIANT!!!! 👍👍👍👌👌👌😁😁😁👏👏👏
People who don't like bagpipe probably never heard Clanadonia drop the beat!
Since my mother was a Scot,by the surname Parsons she's in heaven now if they were just as wild may her soul rest in peace then I'm very grateful
Amen brother
From Western Australia. I saw this very group in Buchanan Street, Glasgow 10 years ago and was intrigued by their unusual kilts and wowed by their energy!
The cloth was originally many yards long. Just woven on a hand loom. As long as required. Dyed with natural plant dyes. The colour of the heather etc. Wrapped about the body. Hitched up with a belt etc. Usd to sleep in and protection against weather. The tailored 'kilt' is only a few hundred yrs old. Especially favoured by Queen Victoria.
These guys are just plain fun to watch and that music just rocks!
So these guys are why Hadrian built the wall! Love ‘em!
I saw them on Buchanan Street in Glasgow a few years ago, the intensity of their sound was stunning.
Nothing worst for a street performer* than having THAT kind of audience. Their cold stares we're heartless. Try that among Latinos, or Italianos, & you'd have one heck of a parteeee goin on! Tell ya's, it's like folks just are getting used to watching, instead of doing. Ugh *I busk on djembe or doumbek drums...but not with those folks, ohhh no! What these fine musicians really need is some dancing girls, no lie !!!
I see your point and I agree with you.
I love being a Celtic warrior and may the spirits of your ancestors live forever
Drummer, Scottish, African, or Native Americans ! Drummers make such wonderful music! Bagpipes are very soul stirring! 🥰🥰🥰🐈⬛🐈🐈🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🪘🥁🪘🥁🪘🪘
Thanks wild Scottish guys! You guys rock!
Besides being good at it they look like they're having fun... God bless ❤ 🥰
Brilliant passionate but happy stuff. How great would it be for humanity for these lads to do the opening ceremony of klaus schwabs trial. 😎
I'm amazed that they used the most miserable looking person to tell others "you will own nothing and be happy "
@@laughteraddict1003 yep, but harari and carney wouldn't look right with a white cat on their knee. He is the ultimate bond villain. 😎
Scotch Irish on my father's side, this music resonates in my soul.

Great to hear Iqra.
So much talent. Very invigorating music!
having nothing common in my passport with Scotland (yet) every time I hear this my inner ancient scot rides to the face of enemy even ten times more numerous I nearly can smell the wind and their fear as we approach to win or die
"Grab yer wummin, kick up a shindy, grab em by the leg and fling em oot the windy!" Old saying 😃bit like travellers grabbin ! Rough and real.! But the wummin were rough and could give the men a run for their reward !! Scottish way ! Haha 😄
I am American, a Texan, but this music speaks to me and always has.

Beautifully said mate! Cheers to that

I could listen and watch them all day, every day, they are that awesome! They have such fun energy 🤩
Wow! The music is wonderful on its own, and seeing the musicians play with such enthusiasm makes it even better. I can feel the strength of the drums and other instruments coming through from the video, I can't imagine how it feels to be there in real life...it must be amazing! I love it.
Scots never played the drums in that fashion this is just to take money from gullible tourists.
Luv luv scot with long blond hair. Great miusic. South africa.
