Whoever made this carpet should be in the hall of fame of carpet makers. A beautiful piece of artwork that was durable enough to withstand 65 years of use to come out looking as fantastic as it did. That is truly amazing.

А вы заметили и поросок стиральный сыпали и жидким моющим средством поливали, но разводов краски не было. Это действительно очень стойкие краски. Я где-то читала, что после того как ковер был соткали, его действительно кидали на дорогу и все по нему ходили, а потом чистили.

Instead of placing these rugs on flat tile where the dirt stays between the bottom of the rug and tile, would placing a fine bar grating between the rug and tile allow the water to flush the dirt throough the rug so itbdrains away from the rug instead of staying on top.
не он сам их загрязняет, а скорее всего это люди приносят такие ковры на чистку. но все равно, это реально нужно потрудиться, чтобы ковер был с экосистемой..

Will these rugs not have a permanent smell or mold/mildew? I know how permanently wool rugs can retain odor even after washing, I can't imagine one being literally caked with mud for years and that strong barnyard smell of musty wool is rank it will fill up your whole house.

たまたま拝見したのですが、これほどまでになったのが、洗って蘇るペルシャ絨毯の凄さにも感銘を受けました。
うちにも亡き母が家を新築した時にくれたペルシャ絨毯のラグ？があって、玄関に敷いています。
シルクも入っている良いものらしいのですが、毎日踏んでいるのでフリンジがだいぶ取れてきてしまって。でも絨毯自体はそこまで傷んでないし、何より母がくれたものなので処分はしたくない。
動画を拝見してこれからも大切に使おうと思いました。
