I agree with underground desert being overrated. In pre hm its hard as jungle but loot is worse and generally harder to find , in hardmode there is no point to go there

Underground desert uses
Cool dino pet
Bast statue (glitches or for fighting bosses)
Sand boots i forgor name of (make you really fast in pre hardmode)
Magic conch to go to the beach
Everything else is shit

seeing marble and granite so low hurt my soul, but FINALLY likeminded individual for the underground jungle. my favourite biome in the game hands down

Town biome and Oasis biome are both solid mini biomes, i don't get why they are bad if they are the best at what they offer: Oasis is a easy big fishing area while town biome is a breath of fresh air when enemies get a lot less frequent and you get much more critters (town biomes in underground is especially good for the gem critters)

My least favorite biomes are definitely the ice biome and ocean biome. The ocean is so boring and so is the ice biome. And I completely disagree with the undergound desert especially loot wise. While half of the items are outclassed and not the best (Weapons and flute), the other 3 are extremely useful throughout the game. With the conch being really useful for quicktravel without the need of pylons (which only one can be on each side) or teleporters, the chisel being very valuable for mining and useful for the hand of creation, and the bast statue offering a good defensive buff in radius. Also I like the rolling cacti and antlion spawners as they test your patience and awareness, also I like using the cacti to kill the tanky enemies. I actually might enjoy it a bit more than the underground jungle which has way too many annoying enemies imo. But yeah it is pretty worthless in hardmode.

In terms of biomes, the world generation is getting repetitive and needs an update, similar to Minecraft’s Caves and Cliffs update
