This hobby is the only thing that keeps me sober, keep it up Bert, bottom of my heart, I saw that video of u, the one on discovery channel, changed my life bro, thank u for doing what u do
Awesome little Heli I wish you would make a video of the full set up and program with your Vbar control and Neo so we could see how you set every thing on your Vcontol. Please do?
Hi Mick, we will consider doing a video with V Control and Neo, but it will not be 100% specific to this machine since many people want to know how to setup everything. We will perhaps put some pointers about settings for different machines.
I agree. The look of the Fireball is definitely a Goblin but not as beautiful as the 380 and above. That Comet is definitely a looker! And actually with fins instead of landing gear looks more like a Goblin. I am sure a Canomod custom paint scheme would make it look just like a child cousin of the 380. Bert to check the weight I keep seeing Fireball videos and they just seem to drop out of the sky if you are not constantly on them. You think the Mini Comet will be able to float a bit even without a OWB on a small baby auto?
I have a question. I used to have a trex 450se (long ago), i absolutely loved that heli even though i know many don't care for them. I want to get back into the hobby this year and would like something a similar (and of course better). Im not crazy good at 3d flight or anything, i just like controlled scale flight and mild acrobatics. Would you suggest the mini comet or the fireball? ( or any other helis if you think there is a better option for me) Thanks
Hello! I used to fly a T-Rex 450 SE myself back in the day when I was on the Align factory team. I think you need to consider what you're looking for, the Mini Comet and the Fireball are very small, much smaller than a T-Rex 450, but SAB also makes a "Buddy 380", which swings 380mm blades, so that would put the T-Rex 450 in between the sizes of the Fireball/Mini Comet or the Buddy 380. With this said, the Mini Comet flies amazing and looks very well in the air, so if I was to decide between Fireball and Mini Comet, I would go with Mini Comet simply because it is more rigid, looks better and it is much stronger. Hope this helps.
Great review , I'm really really impressed by this machine . Is Goblin like one of the best brands if you want to get a top quality heli ? Are they better or like Align ? I'd like to buy one in the future , however i'd like to do more scale flying rather than aerobatics.
Align does not compare to the gobblers. I would stay far away from align. Synergy is defiantly the highest quality best supported brand out there. Nobody sells upgrades for synergy because you put them together and fly them and that's it. Most brands are finicky you fly you fix etc Synergy just fly.
Nice looking heli. What size is that supposed to be? Also, where does a 420 fit. I guess it's been a long time since I tried flying my 450 helis. I also have a 250 size heli so I'm trying to get an idea of where these sizes are now. I like the small helis just because they tend to fit in my small car much better.
This is a "280" size heli, meaning it uses 280mm blades. The old 450 size helis used 325mm blades, that is in today's terms considered a "350" size heli. The 420 uses 420mm blades, so larger than all others, the 250 size is slightly smaller than these. Hope this helps!
Hello! Unfortunately no, I am not familiar with that radio, most people use that radio with quads and FPV. But I am sure you can find resources online, specially on regroups.com. The curves should be set at flat values like 60%, 70%, 80%, etc. depending on the number of flight modes or idle ups it has.
Good morning, buddy. For being a little used radio and mostly here in Brazil I am having this difficulty! The model has buckets of 42 cm and rotor of 9, which would give 93 cm in all! So you could give me an idea in which values apply in the case of this helicopter, remembering that I'm new to Helimodelismo.
Ken, I fly many different things as it keeps me up to date with latest technologies plus allows me to help others at events, etc :-) I've been flying the vControl lately and I enjoy it much, but I still fly my Jeti quite often though. They're completely different, each has its own pros/cons.
It's goog but it's not Align...Thats we all heli person say to Greece.where was Sab heli when align build helicopters few years in the past i am expert and old heli pilot and i don't like belt drive helis i have flight a friends sab heli 770 competition and i impressed but l feel more comfort with aligh sorry Sab....
Wrong! :-) A tail motor will never perform as well as a tail belt, specially when doing counter clock-wise pirouettes as the heli relies on its own main rotor torque to pirouette in that direction. A tail belt combined with tail pitch control (tail slider, movable tail grips, etc.) provides a lot more tail precision and authority. Only very small or cheap helis have tail motors, and this is mainly because they are too small to accommodate an entire "real tail system". You will never find a real high performance helicopter with a tail motor.
@@BertKammerer ya in real helicopters they use a drive shaft to the rear rotor though. Why dont they use the belt system in real helicopters ? Because they suck.
@@jasonmorgan661 You said the key word "drive shaft". That makes a world of difference! However, motor tail controlled by motor RPM is horribly inefficient, installing a motor on a larger RC heli for the tail is not practical due to weight, specially complexity when you have to also use a drive shaft for pitch control.
@@BertKammerer so i should CNC a drive shaft for these helis out of titanium and make a fortune lol.🤔 its funny ,Rakon heli makes titanium parts but like Blade the chopper ends up heavier in the end.

Always a pleasure to watch you fly Bert! Even from years ago. Take care and I hope that you and your Family are all staying Safe and Healthy!
❤🙏🙏❤
Awesome video Bert. You explained everything I wanted to know. Awesome little machine. Love it!
It is really nice looking! Thumbs Up!
Bert you really give Great Reviews & Great Flying also ! The New Mini Commit looks Great also ! Thanks for the Great Video !
Nice video Bert.. I like looks of both but that green canopy catches my eye
Great video Bert. Looks awesome!
I don’t understand how the hell you guys fly like that 🤯👍

had a question about my kraken 580? love what u guys do
Amazing. How did you learn to fly like that?
nice flying Bert. Prefer the look of the Comet to the Fireball

Nice video, this is a kit I will consider getting for myself, will it have space in the fuel-sage for me to install msh Brain

Est ce que le récepteur qui est inclus
, est compatible avec un émetteur DX6 ?
Bert you are so damn cool!!!
@BertKammerer could you convert a fireball into a comet is you buy the Main frame, canopy, boom, tail rotor side plates, and tail servo mount?
In addition to the main plate as it is different also. The main plate allows you to bolt the entire mechanics to the canopy/fuse.
@@BertKammerer Ok, thank you.
Good night, buddy. Do you have any video configuring the radio Taranis x9d Plus on the acceleration curve? Thank you

Bert ur still the shit BTW, KEEP RC HELIS ALIVE
Is the fuselage carbon fiber or fiber glass?
Are those servos rebadged bkservos? Just curious
Jeffrey, those are original BK Servos, DS-3001HV on cyclic and DS-3005HV on the tail on both my Goblin Comet and the Fireball.
Burt are u using the vbar controller now instead of jeti

10 bucks...sure in german cost this a lot more ;)
shit on cash.the goblin are awesome btw :)

Lmao. The best helis have a motor on the back not a belt drive to make peeps buy parts not necessary. Way to expensive
