I used to have a laptop that couldn't really handle ETS2 like said in the video, which cost around 500€. But now I have a gaming laptop with GeForce GTX 1650 Grraphics Card and AMD Ryzen 5000 Series, which cost me around 850€, and it runs just as good as desktop.
The Lenovo Legion laptops plays ETS2 flawlessly thankfully, over 60fps easily on ultra, always use it when im on holiday away from my pc (which im currently doing this week) :D
I have a used new laptop ( 1st user doesn't even used for 1 month) , i have bought it around 2015 for $90 . I have optimized the laptop (Not overclocked) and it runs like a charm. It has 2gb ram and Intel Pentium processor. I installed ETS2 and it working like a charm. Usually I used to download pirated versions. So I downloaded ETS2 1.1 and it runs smooth. Then after that I downloaded ETS2 1.30 and 1.31 and it runs like a butter. But when I tried to play ETS2 1.35 and above versions, it starts to lag. So I Choosen the ETS2 1.31 version. It is smooth and I play with almost 15 mods. But one hard thing is that my laptop is heating in idle and Overheating while playing ets2. But as now, i satisfied with my laptop and it has 30 more games to play. Nice laptop 💻❤
I played on a laptop on low settings, got about 60-80 fps max but it was very playable :) Now i got a very nice gaming PC and I'm getting about 160-180 FPS ultra with some mods
Lol ....should of bought him a decent laptop if you was a decent friend........my laptop has everything on max settings and best of all it's portable with an rtx 4080 inside .. play anywhere in 4k

The problem with playing with laptop is that you don't have a num enter key. So you can't finish certain course in the driving academy because you can't confirm by pressing the num enter key. WTF developers??!!

I have hp victus ryzen 7 8845hs rtx 4050(75 watt) with dual channel ddr5 16gb ram I get 100 fps on average on ultra max out setting at 1080p it is a beast in this segment
@@vutomy yep, all running on Ultra settings. The only detail is that it runs at 20-30fps, but otherwise I have no complaints, the Core i7 7th Gen, the Nvidia Quadro graphics and 64GB of RAM perform very well 👌🏽👌🏽

Tbh i own a gaming laptop which is lenovo legion 5 with RTX 3050 16Gb ram abd it runs ets2 at 150-155 fps at ultra setting so laptops arent a issue for gaming bro.

Just remember to game with the laptop plugged in the wall (laptops nowdays work like desktops qhen plugged in, so they won't use the battery as long as you don't take them out of the socket :)) Also, those laptop stands are really useful to keep them cool
It totally depends on what laptop or desktop you get because if you buy a pc for around 100 bucks you won't have a better performance than a laptop at, let's say 200 bucks. And if you have the exact same specs in the laptop as in the pc it will have the same performance. So the specs matter not if it is a laptop or pc there are crap pc's and crap laptops.

I try to play ets2 on my laptop (quite low-end) and it runs fine in the og areas (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, UK, Switzerland, etc) but it really struggles in the reworked areas (especially Austria) it just lags constantly in single player... Also i try to drive in TruckersMP on the CD road and it just lags constantly and people crash into my lag every second... I don't get how it doesn't overheat or explode😅
I have a somewhat good pc (i5-7600, amd rx580 8gb vram, 16gb ram) and i can't really play on max settings without stutters and my gpu sounding like a airplane xD

Good. Older version of ETS2 might work on Pentium laptops... recent versions of ets2 are graphic demanding... 2GB wont give a smooth experience
the only problems with older ets versions is that i dont know how to get a damn activation key

My new laptop has an i3 11th Gen 8GB RAM and Intel UHD. ETS2 runs like butter on medium settings. ATS stutters a bit but works fine.
