You know, there's something on this channel I don't see people actually mentioning: I LOVE the sound editing. This channel on stereo is just a wonderful surprise.
The Leviathan V2 Pro I bought when it was first launched also had the problem that the subwoofer could not be woken up countless times. Sometimes it could not be solved even after replugging the power supply and reconnecting the computer. This problem will appear almost every few days and drives me crazy cuz without the subwoofer the sound is horrible. Most of the complaints about the old model's subwoofer issue I searched on Google come from Razer’s synapse, but after I tried so many times, I found that it was the connection problem between the 2.5mm audio cable and the soundbar. Every time I need to wipe and twist the 2.5mm cable connecting the subwoofer and the soundbar, The audio interface can successfully wake up the subwoofer. I don't know if the connection method of Nommo V2 or Pro is the same, but the problem with the subwoofer is a common problem. And for a 400+ speaker, this kind of problem is very stupid and excruciating. I will never recommend anyone buy it even though I am a Razer fan.
Dude this review helped me so much. I previously had the Logitech G560 which I loved, but had to sell due to moving to another country, and I was interested in the buying these in order to integrate with the whole razer ecosystem of Chroma lighting becuase I'm in love with their razer blade laptop, but your review really made me think twice about it. I also watched a review about their Leviathan soundbar but I also concluded that it really is not worth it. I'm considering buying from scratch all my peripherals from logitech including speakers and headphones.
$500 will get you a pair of actual Hi-Fidelity stereo speakers and a small amp to drive them. Or, a decent pair of near-field powered studio monitors. Don't buy speakers from companies that don't make speakers! Unless, of course, you're good with having the woofer just stop working for no reason.

I've been using the klipsch speakers for 20 years almost and just got a second set, I can turn them all the way up on the pc and there's zero distortion, for around a hundred bucks it's an amazing set for the price. Although I really want one of those volume knobs, maybe I could get one separately. Great video keep it up! 😁
I admire your mindset. But my mind literally can’t even fathom using the same tech anything for 20 years 😂 all of my gadgets get upgraded at least every few years. Hell, I’ve had my OLED monitor for a little over a year but I’m already considering upgrading it so I can have a 4k display. To each their own though.
Aug 2024 - Amazon sold the V2 Pro for $309. I snagged it. I was pleasantly surprised at just how good they actually sound. Way better than my dated Corsair SP2500 2.1.
For that money you can get very nice pair of active speakers without needing the subwoofer. Also they are tuned for maximum sound quality. For example JBL 306P MKII would be very good choice. They have 6" woofers so plenty of bass.
I ended up buying the non pro nommo V2 set. The lack of remote and wireless subwoofer seems to be the only difference. Speaker response and size all look the same based on comparing specs. Also $150usd cheaper
I'm surprised this video was only about the V2 Pro and not including the regular and X versions of the V2s. The X version honestly doesn't look bad at all and for Razer the pricing isn't super expensive.
at $449 i'd get a set of studio monitors like the Kali Audio LP-6 or their new IN-UNF desktop set up, the point is your in real speaker territory made by real audio companies at that price.
I've actively used at least a dozen different PC sound systems and I thought a few of them were really good. Now I use a proper stereo amplifier on the optical cable, a proper subwoofer, and a pair of badass speakers. Picked up everything used and spent maybe a hundred bucks. The subwoofer is the game changer. I thought I had experienced good bass until now. Nope. It's big and complicated, but I'll never leave my proper stereo system.
I too have a home stereo setup, but I don't live alone, so my Razer set (not the pros, just the Nommos) is great for my desk/when people are around, but you are absolutely right that nothing is topping a dedicated subwoofer
Not a Razer fanboy but they look better / more high-end than all the alternatives you have mentioned at the end. Razer has always charged a bit more than average for their products and I think the premium aesthetics somewhat justify it. Generally speaking, I think there is a lack of really high end speakers specifically designed for gaming. If Bang & Olufsen, Beyer Dynamic, Sennheiser and/ or Bowers & Wilkins would make some premium gaming speakers they would definitely stand out.
I'm mad the HK Soundsticks aren't still around, those were not only beautiful speakers, but I sampled a set at Frye's once and it sounded great too, didn't get to game test them, but I don't see why they wouldn't do as good as these, the first generation of these, or Logitech comparable sets
$500 will get you a really nice 5.1 soundbar. Plus Razer will probably charge you extra money for some kind of sound enhancement software it should come with as well.
My man only speaking facts. I have a leviathan v2 and needed to buy Dolby Acess and spend 3 entire days messing with Equalizer APO just to make it work and sound NORMAL.
I would choose active stodio monitors like JBL 306P MKII. They have way better sound quality. Soundbars are ok, but sound quality can't compete with good studio monitors.
I run a pair of Focal Alpha 65 evo's in a midfield set up. Soundstage is amazing. When listening to music, You get a real in the booth feel, also for gaming. It's wide enough to fool you into thinking the sound is surround(Focal are known for their vary wide soundstages). They go plenty deep, and If I wanted deeper. I could add the Alpha sub 1. Honestly studio monitors are unsung value kings when it comes to HiFi.
Focal is no joke either. Great speakers. I went from KRK to Focal to PMC and now ATC. The only ones I still have are my Focals (Besides my ATCs). They have great dynamic range for their price, and beautiful separation of frequencies!
@@Jonathan_Wick My Man, Running ATC's! You are in the big leads. If I ever got more into professional audio. ATC would be what I'd gun for. But I use my Focal's for Video production work. Mixing sound and making sure stuff sounds right at legal volumes. What Focal's and ATC's are you running?
@@jacobstanley7089awesome! Focal are great, my only gripe with them was I used to get ear fatigue from their tweeters. But that’s just me! I have the Solo6s, and am now currently mixing with ATC SCM110s and custom 15in subwoofers for LF extension! I cannot sing enough praises for ATC, so if you ever get a chance, do take a listen to a pair!!
as a long time audio enthusiast... sound bars just don't give the full experience of proper separates. Of course I say this now with a full 5.1 surround setup on my PC, but even for more modest setups I always stick with at the very least 2 speakers that can be separated out as far as the desk allows.
I used the Klipsch pro media 2.1 speakers for years before switching to the Bose companion 20 desktop speakers. Both are great, but space is at a premium and I didn't really like being tethered to that massive sub. I'm more interested in a soundbar these days to clean up my desk space even more, but I don't think I'll be going with razer. Had multiple razer peripherals fail in a short period of time and the synapse software hasn't ever been great. If anyone has any good recommendations for such, no RGB please, I'm all ears.
Damn, I tried to get my hands on a set of those Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 speakers for years. But they were just about impossible to find here in the UK. I ended up getting a set of Edifiers as my second choice. I used to love Altec Lansing's line array PC speakers, but they don't seem to make PC speakers anymore and I was forced to move on because the silver ones I had just didn't go with the black PC's I've been building since. The amazing thing is they're almost 20 years old now and they still work great. Now that I think about it, I might try taking them apart and painting them.
@@valhallasashes4354 I grabbed mine years ago maybe a year after they first released before the slight hardware revision. Sadly they're just sitting in a closet and only get dusted off on "grilling holidays". I like to take them outside, hook them up to an old ipad and fire up Spotify. As it turns out if you run two instances of Spotify from the same account, in the iPad and on my phone, you can use your phone to to remotely control all of the music. Works great. That doesn't have anything to do with what you're saying, buti just like to reminisce about the few times I get use them.
I run a dual 16:9 monitor set up in a corner desk environment, so a sound bar isn't really ideal for me. I have considered a sound bar previously, but you just don't get the versatility you get with a 2.1 setup for speaker placement. Right now, my speakers are edge to edge against each side of each monitors extreme, so regardless of whether I'm watching films or videos on one, or gaming on either (PC on left, Switch on right), I get the same audio experience. If I used a sound bar instead, if I was PC gaming on the left, the majority of the sound would be coming from my right, and if I was gaming on the Switch, it would mostly be coming coming from my left. All of the immersion would be lost and because you can't split a sound bar, you can't fix it. So for me, I've found 2.1 speaker systems to be far more useful than a sound bar. I guess the downside is my speakers exceed that 60-80cm separation you stated in your video, with mine sitting at about 115cm. But I've never really felt the need to use spatial audio anyway, and usually, I've found them to detract from the audio experience rather than enhance the experience, and even worse, when they do work, tend to be highly situational. Sounding great in one application, then absolutely awful in another. So I just don't bother with them anymore. I just set one balanced audio profile using a custom manual spectrum equalizer setting I tune myself (takes me about a day using multiple sources, movies, games, music etc, with further tweaks over time if necessary), tuned specifically to the speakers I'm using (all speakers are different). Over the years, I've generally found that to be the most reliable method of getting really good sound quality without the need for gimmicky spatial audio/fake surround sound or other such nonsense that often do more harm to the audio experience than help.
Hey quick question. Im in the need of new pc speakers and i have a razer keyboard, mouse, mouse pad, so i was thinkin about this BUT i like the light sync the Logitech g560 has. The logitech g560 light sync goes with games and movies, If the razer Nommo v2 pro can do that same thing ill get that. So can The razer Nomm v2 pro Do the light sync with games and movies?
Awesome video! I've found the best use for mine are as speakers for my google home/TV. I threw a Bluetooth transmitter on it and the ability to use them with Google home is sick!
I was thinking about getting a replacement speaker system for my Logitech Z623 Home Theater System which I bought in 2014, and thought about getting the wired version of these. I don't even think it's worth the price, and my system still works and functions the day I set it up.
I'm still happy with my Edifier speakers, I've still not heard anything significantly better and they look more like traditional bookshelf speakers. Outstanding imaging, decent extension. Plenty good enough for PC, traditional MDF construction. Remote control, Bluetooth and wired connection. No "rainbow puke" RGB (Although my PC makes up for that 🤣)
I wish Altec Lancing reissue the MX5021. By far my favorite 2.1 speaker system. I've owned mine for around 10 years.. very satisfying for music and gaming.. 😊
I own a set of Razer Mako 2.1 (circa 2009) and a set of Razer Nommo Pro 2018. I actually honestly prefer the Mako’s for the general listening experience. They have drivers that fire down into the desk to create an “omnidirectional” listening experience. Sounds like a gimmick, but it makes the sound feel really immersive. I’m surprised no one has else has made downward firing speakers since the Makos. These v2 pros honestly look like a downgrade from the 2018 pros, I guess for a lower price, but it is 5 years later. They could have made these a way more compelling product.
You should do a test of the NZXT Relay speakers, they sound great after 50-100 hours burn-in. Cabinets are made of MDF instead of plastic witch gives a much better sound quality, less resonance and lower distortion. I have paired mine with an Audio Pro C-Sub instead the Relay subwoofer because it provides much deeper bass at a smaller footprint.
soundbar and wireless sub would be great. RCA plugs or at least an AUX port so I can still use my DAC and turn the speakers on/off if I want to listen to them.
In my opinions the sound bar option just isn't it for the PC. You can get away with it for like a bedroom TV setup or something, and maybe even your living room TV, but for a PC you need that separate 2.0 speaker setup if you are going to use it for gaming, or even for immersive movie watching. Everything is close up on a PC, and right in front of you.
i use studio reference monitors (one inch tweeters and 8 inch woofer) with a 10 inch subwoofer. I would never consider running something like a sound bar.
I've been using PreSonus Eris E3.5 for 2.0 setup for a few years now, they are $99usd on amazon and sound great. Wish I had E4.5 for more low end since I had to get rid of my sub a while back. But if was spending $450 on a new 2.1 speakers and dac system I wouldn't get the Nommo. A Klipsch ProMedia 2.1, Schiit Audio Fulla, and some Govee/Hue/Lifx lights would be a better purchase.
I have the Logitech Z313 and sounds amazing to my ears. And it's only 20 dollars haha you just have to tweek the EQ for better audio experience. You don't have to spend a lot of money to have a good speakers.
So this costs slightly less than the Teufel Concept E450 digital 5.1 set on offer and you can get active studio monitor speakers (stereo) for way less money. While i really like the backfire RGB on the sattelite speakers of the Nommo i would rather go without fancy lighting but likely way better sound with the Teufel kit or maybe a set of used Adam Audio monitor speakers. And you could assemble a 5.0 set with (used) active studio monitor speakers for roughly the same money Razer asks for the Nommo V2 Pro. You won´t get configurable RGB lighting with the mentioned alternatives but on the other hand you won´t need any proprietary software ;)
Im using the RAZER LEVIATHAN V2 X since release date 2020 and it was good. The Nommo V2 (pro) looks good but i go to the RAZER LEVIATHAN V2 for 180 € right now.
I've been using Razer Leviathan (v1) for about 5yrs (bought october 2018) and it still sounds like new and the build quality is superb so I'm not thinking or replacing it with this new speaker from razer.
The G560's are amazing, but the software can be a real PIA. I find myself watching movies, realizing the screen sampler is off (a light should be green but is actually red type of thing). Then find yourself 2 hours in trying to fix it instead of finishing a movie, or playing a game that you were playing.
Why people would want a 2.1 system over a soundbar is, imo, soundbars all (that I have personally heard) all have kind of a filter over the sounds, like you went into Windows sound settings and changed the virtualization to concert hall or something, they don't sound "clean" if that makes sense. It's like they're processing the audio too much, similar to how TVs sometimes look really bad as computer monitors unless you turn it to PC specific modes with less filtering and such. Even cheap multiple speaker setups sound better. I had a 2.1 soundbar that got obliterated by the cheapest 5.1 surround sound set (I think it was like 40 bucks) without the center or rear speakers hooked up, so it was compared equally as 2.1.
It would be awesome if you have showed frequency response graph. I'm not saying go buy Klippel NFS for $100k and measure it in a anechoic chamber but measuring it with $80 MiniDSP Umik-1 in your room would give us an idea how they're sounding.
I pre ordered them for my new desktop for gaming and RUclips that's it. I think they will be great. there will be software updates down the line to fix any problems I'm sure.
Floating Monitor/s work best with sound bars! I wish there were slightly better options for PC users in this way, as I lucked out on a cheap Visio soundbar that matches the width of my Dell 32" gaming monitor. Looks good, sounds good, couldn't ask for more!
I'm over here with the Nommo Pro I paid $600 dollars for and a V2 successor to it comes out which costs less makes me already feel it is inferior. plus it lacks the two upper tweeter speakers.
I've been using the nommo chroma pro. Optical cable is connected to the TV use the barracuda for pc use but now that I'm redesigning the setup and I keep it around 20 to 30% and with the mobile app it works so well. But I might be able to connect it to my pc for control there too. Upset about it constantly turning off all the time
in this case looks like the simplicity of the NZXT Relay looks a better option. I would like to have all razer devices, but every new iteration is more expensive and doesn't seem that money apply to fix synapse at least.
I upgraded from the harman kardon sb16 soundbar wired with no bluetooth with the wireless subwoofer to a pair of yamaha hs50m studio monitors that I have as my youtube profile picture for my 2 channel stereo setup while being connected to the topping d10s dac and schiit hel 2 dac amp to control the volume, and everything set to flat so I can get the most accurate sound that I can possibly get since they are on a pair of rockville studio monitor stands that I found from value village for 20 bucks that look brand new and have them placed in an equilateral triangle. I can connect my sennheiser hd 600 open back headphones on the front 6.3 mm port on the front. I have my yamaha hs50m studio monitors connected to my 65 inch samsung curve qled 4k tv and to the samsung one connect box and set to pcm audio for uncompressed 2 channel audio.
If you really want to spend 500 bucks in a pair of speakers just go for a power speaker set. They will sound so much better if you eventually get tired of using them and want to only use headphones you have a good pair that can be put elsewhere and repreduce music in a much better way.
My main issue with razer, and it makes their products a non-star4ter, is the synapse software that infects your system like a virus and wont go away no matter how many time you uninstall and delete its service entries, and them trying to make you log in to get some features of some products is so far beyond acceptable, it makes them the object of hate regardless of the quality of the product.
@Silver Joystix Signal RGB seems to be able to control razer rgb with no razer software installed, at least the chroma box and my nari headset.... dug quite a while to make sure i could use the chroma box without drivers since nobody else has a comparable product that ive found.
I'm still using the Logitech Z-2300 2.1 setup. Bought it in 2009 and it still works just fine. I doubt any Razer product would last as long as these speakers have. I like the 3.5mm jack more than a USB connection. Keep it simple.
i was going to get the original nommo, but end up finding a much better option with kanto yu4 and their sub8 setup, having heard both at my mates house, it was night and day different inturns of sound quality and for not that much more
I have the same setup of YU4's and Sub8 using optical in - I couldn't be happier with it for a desktop PC. Compared to the reviewed Razer quality of life issues alone, I'm glad I went this route.
@@aznelite325 oh yeah same I got it setup with a decent amp and dac too with optical sound amazing the only thing I wish for is going with the yu6 instead of yu4 as want it slightly louder. But overall amazing pair of speakers and sub woofer way better than any Razer crap
I have the leviathan v2 pro and the thx virtual speaker is crazy. It sounds like a perfectly tuned stereo. But the overall sonic quality of the speakers are just decent. I wonder if the overall speaker quality of these are good. Thinking about getting one and comparing the 2
Maybe out of the topic question, but I think everyone here can help me. I have a MacBook Air and PS5. What would be the easiest and best solution to use speakers for both systems? Right now I'm using a Bluetooth sound bar connected to a monitor headphone jack. Weirdly, the sound when using an AUX cable for Macbook has been terrible, but it is good when using PS5.
Optical / Analogue out on TV or get a HDMI splicer for audio but will most likely ruin your image quality and features as a lot of them won't be HDMI 2.1 spec and will interrupt any freesync between console and tv ect.
When your phone is hooked up to the speakers via bluetooth and you're playing music, you can actually press down on the wireless controller and at the same time rotate it counterclockwise to turn off the reactive RGB lighting. Helps so it doesn't look like a seizure-inducing light show. HAHAHAHA. On the other hand, pressing down on the wireless controller and rotating it clockwise at the same time restores the RGB lighting.
For less than 300€ I bettet go with z906 from Logitech. It's a little pain in the ass because of cable management for 5.1 but is worth it if you have spacey room. The immersion watching movies or jus playing AA titles.
I use a Sonos Beam 2. It's cheaper than this, it's made by a company that specializes in audio, and I get actual Dolby Atmos Surround Sound. And because it's Sonos, I can add a Sub or surrounds whenever I want. Highly recommended!
Can you guys please check out the Klipsch fives, sevens and nines for PC gaming/media? I use a set of Klipsch R-51PM + sub and they are really good but I'm curious how the bigger brothers will do for PC.
I'm wishing more reviews will do a comparison chart. Isolated reviews are okay and all but do very little for comparing against alternatives. How do the Creative Katana V2 soundbar stack up against say the Logitech G560, for example? Buyers can deduce from certain videos, but there is no direct benchmark. It is like the other hardware reviews out there for monitors and peripherals. Really wish there is a side by side comparison.
Sound is super subjective, there is no way for you to hear what the reviewer is hearing and even if he likes somthing does not mean you will. There is no sound bar that will sound as good as a dedicated set of 2.1 speakers and buying "gaming" brands speakers is asking to get ripped off
@@samgoff5289 I understand what you are saying but that means any review is basically subjective? Sound is subjective, monitor refresh rate is subjective, mouse comfort is subjective. There is a lot that is dependent on the individual user, but reviews do show case the specifications, physical appearance and impressions. My issue is every review is an isolated experience with no real side-by-side comparison. It's like with monitors. It looks like every review of a decent monitor sees that as a "Highly recommended" monitor, but that is a big difference between moving from a 27" screen to a 45" screen, compared to say, a 49" non-OLED to a 45" OLED. It's that level of comparison I feel is missing from most reviews. On a similar note, Hardware Canucks gave a glowing review of the Creative Katana V2 soundbar before. They also gave a good review for the Logitech G560. What I wish to see is how the two compare.
You could do a lot better with powered speakers at that price

The video is about the v2 pro because that is the speakers they have to review...? You expect him to review all the different sets he doesn't have?
Do yourself a favor and get something from someone who only makes audio equipment. This is too expensive and lacks many features for this price.
at $449 i'd get a set of studio monitors like the Kali Audio LP-6 or their new IN-UNF desktop set up, the point is your in real speaker territory made by real audio companies at that price.
I have the V1s, these v2s look like a clear step down
Not a Razer fanboy but they look better / more high-end than all the alternatives you have mentioned at the end.
Lol true 😁
I would choose active stodio monitors like JBL 306P MKII. They have way better sound quality. Soundbars are ok, but sound quality can't compete with good studio monitors.
Lack of tweeters is concerning, imagine these sound awful.
Went to a friends house to listen to the original ones. They sucked ass. Hard to imagine they've learned anything from their past blunders.
If it's done right sound can be anything but awful. Many high end speakers use full range drivers without needing tweeter.
@@Mike81111because those brands know what their doing
I run a pair of Focal Alpha 65 evo's in a midfield set up. Soundstage is amazing. When listening to music, You get a real in the booth feel, also for gaming. It's wide enough to fool you into thinking the sound is surround(Focal are known for their vary wide soundstages). They go plenty deep, and If I wanted deeper. I could add the Alpha sub 1. Honestly studio monitors are unsung value kings when it comes to HiFi.
Studio monitors are amazing value.
Focal is no joke either. Great speakers. I went from KRK to Focal to PMC and now ATC. The only ones I still have are my Focals (Besides my ATCs). They have great dynamic range for their price, and beautiful separation of frequencies!
@@monsterGLL Hell yeah they are
@@Jonathan_Wick My Man, Running ATC's!
When you can get four whole sets of Klipsch Promedia 2.1s for the same price, you'd be nuts to get these instead...
as a long time audio enthusiast... sound bars just don't give the full experience of proper separates.
Personally still using the Klipsch. I've got a few friends using Sound Blaster or Sonos.
Not a soundbar, but I think Audioengine is decent and minimal
Razer Synapse should be deleted off this planet. Hogs 3x more resources than it needs to, to do nothing but bug and crash.
Great review, THANKS!🤗..,,,,BUT….. I got them and you CAN switch of the light of the speakers in the menu 👍😀
5:40 "adjusting the DPS" seems pretty op in games ;)
Since you've tried the Nommos Pros and V2 how would you compare them just off a sound quality perspective?
I own a set of Razer Mako 2.1 (circa 2009) and a set of Razer Nommo Pro 2018. I actually honestly prefer the Mako’s for the general listening experience. They have drivers that fire down into the desk to create an “omnidirectional” listening experience. Sounds like a gimmick, but it makes the sound feel really immersive. I’m surprised no one has else has made downward firing speakers since the Makos. These v2 pros honestly look like a downgrade from the 2018 pros, I guess for a lower price, but it is 5 years later. They could have made these a way more compelling product.
My logitech g560 looking better than ever now, thank you razer
I won't buy that logitech cheap looking things. Lol.
@@albertjohn8723 they are acutally decent speakers
You should do a test of the NZXT Relay speakers, they sound great after 50-100 hours burn-in. Cabinets are made of MDF instead of plastic witch gives a much better sound quality, less resonance and lower distortion. I have paired mine with an Audio Pro C-Sub instead the Relay subwoofer because it provides much deeper bass at a smaller footprint.
i got steelseries arena 7, actually pretty impressed by them. and for only 250, these are a way better deal
soundbar and wireless sub would be great.
Harmon kardon sound sticks absolutely stomp these into the ground for quality and no RGB crap.. 🥳
I love my logitech Z906 speakers. Awesome sound ! Wish they would update them with bluetooth !
As for me since I live in an apartment I use the Redragon GS560 when watching RUclips and for gaming I use Corsair hs80 wired headphones.
Great review - thanks! I was going to get these, but not being able to turn off the lighting is just dumb! 🤣
I got them and you CAN switch of the light of the speakers in the menu 👍😀
I've been using PreSonus Eris E3.5 for 2.0 setup for a few years now, they are $99usd on amazon and sound great. Wish I had E4.5 for more low end since I had to get rid of my sub a while back.
But if was spending $450 on a new 2.1 speakers and dac system I wouldn't get the Nommo. A Klipsch ProMedia 2.1, Schiit Audio Fulla, and some Govee/Hue/Lifx lights would be a better purchase.
I have a Logitech Z-5 (not a typo, its the 2009 Logitech 2.0 speaker) and its still the best.
Great review, will look at a different speaker set up
I'm very happy and satisfied with my Logitech Z313 haha
Im using the RAZER LEVIATHAN V2 X since release date 2020 and it was good. The Nommo V2 (pro) looks good but i go to the RAZER LEVIATHAN V2 for 180 € right now.
I've been using Razer Leviathan (v1) for about 5yrs (bought october 2018) and it still sounds like new and the build quality is superb so I'm not thinking or replacing it with this new speaker from razer.
Any news on your 4060 ti review. Been waiting for your and Optimum tech's perspective on this card.
I always wanted a Nommo Pro V1/V2 but the price point is just nuts. I think eventually I'll grab a set but when it's discounted haha.
Wait for blackfriday, I bought Nommo Pro V1 for 350$. And ther are just insane. This V2 looks not as good.
The G560's are amazing, but the software can be a real PIA. I find myself watching movies, realizing the screen sampler is off (a light should be green but is actually red type of thing). Then find yourself 2 hours in trying to fix it instead of finishing a movie, or playing a game that you were playing.
i recently bought edifier 1280t. they are awesome for 75-85€!
Because a good 2.1 system beats most soundbars
It would be awesome if you have showed frequency response graph. I'm not saying go buy Klippel NFS for $100k and measure it in a anechoic chamber but measuring it with $80 MiniDSP Umik-1 in your room would give us an idea how they're sounding.
Intro was 🔥
I'll always just use studio monitors over any type of gaming marketed speakers.
Yes. The new v2 is definitely inferior.
For 450$ id buy a Klipsch 5.1 system lol
do you think it’s any better now?
If you really want to spend 500 bucks in a pair of speakers just go for a power speaker set. They will sound so much better if you eventually get tired of using them and want to only use headphones you have a good pair that can be put elsewhere and repreduce music in a much better way.
I've had the same problem with the subwoofer not turning on. For how much these speakers cost this should not happen.
There should be a way that works with the leviathan at the same time
My main issue with razer, and it makes their products a non-star4ter, is the synapse software that infects your system like a virus and wont go away no matter how many time you uninstall and delete its service entries, and them trying to make you log in to get some features of some products is so far beyond acceptable, it makes them the object of hate regardless of the quality of the product.
At that price, you're going up against things like the Kali LP6 studio monitors or for not a whole lot more, Kali's multimedia set with sub.
JBL already beating Razer in sound quality, aesthetics, and RGB!
And Edifier
i was going to get the original nommo, but end up finding a much better option with kanto yu4 and their sub8 setup, having heard both at my mates house, it was night and day different inturns of sound quality and for not that much more
I have the same setup of YU4's and Sub8 using optical in - I couldn't be happier with it for a desktop PC.
I have the logitech one and to be honnest im so satisfied the sound quality and the subwoofer they are evil
sounds bars for a pc setup he says, yeah champ 😂
Why would someone get these over proper studio monitors for that price?
Please make a review of the new Audeze Maxwell!
How does it NOT have a headphone input. Every 2.1 system ive had has had one.
is the only diffrents to the Razer Nommo V2 that the pro version has bluetooth connectivity or are there other things
The worst point is here is really the RGB ! Should have been a led ring on the base or in the back
how to connect these speakers if I use a monitor and xbox series x? Are they compatible with xbox or only with pc?
When are you going to review the Audeze Maxwell?
For less than 300€ I bettet go with z906 from Logitech. It's a little pain in the ass because of cable management for 5.1 but is worth it if you have spacey room. The immersion watching movies or jus playing AA titles.
I use a Sonos Beam 2. It's cheaper than this, it's made by a company that specializes in audio, and I get actual Dolby Atmos Surround Sound. And because it's Sonos, I can add a Sub or surrounds whenever I want. Highly recommended!
I prefer the nommo v1 , the v2 are too big, however the leviathan v2 x is alright for what it is
Can you guys please check out the Klipsch fives, sevens and nines for PC gaming/media?
I use a set of Klipsch R-51PM + sub and they are really good but I'm curious how the bigger brothers will do for PC.
Is the sound better than the nommo pro v1?
What I wish to see is how the two compare.
white edition please please
What is better this or soundbar Katana v2 ?
They got rid of the subwoofer settings?
I think I'll stick to my Edifier s880db 2.0 setup.
