i have never been disappointed with this bar so far ! there wasnt a single occasion when something sounded bad or just irrelevant. EVERY single song, game sound is on point. this masterpiece is a definition of a state of art.
Thank you for reviewing this. Its an actually interesting and unique item for PC. I have no doubts that a normal 2.1 speaker setup will sound as good or better, but unfortunately I don't have room to the left and right of my LG C1 oled on my desk. This makes more sense form factor wise so glad to hear its a good product
@@Hundredthldiot I mean thats an option, although the Sonos Beam is more expensive and doesn't come with a subwoofer. Also not sure how sitting so close to it will sound, where the Razer is kind of designed for that use case
@@Hundredthldiot some people complain about this sound bar expensive, but not sonos beam? how sonos beam going to beat this sound bar with subwoofer? not a chance.
How old is red compared to something like a clips the fives bookshelf speakers, is it possible to get the same level of sound from the Klipsch us apposed to the sandbar?
I have the KANTO TUK for my computer speakers and the S8 subwoofer....amazing sound and set up...did i over do it ? ( probably...LOL ) but i LOVE it...cheers all from Canada
What connectivity does it have? Is it USB into the PC? Does it support (e-)ARC? What about other inputs (e.g. Consoles)? So as a “review of this review” - Enough to intrigue me but fails to cover enough points, MUST DO BETTER
It isn't a TV sound bar, its a PC sound bar. It doesn't support HDMI ARC of any kind. It gets its audio via usb or Bluetooth (thankfully that kind of info is found by checking the specs for this on Razor's website for about 15 seconds) This 100% wont work on an Xbox Series console as that doesn't have USB wired audio of any kind. It might work on a PS5, but then again you won't be able to edit rgb and most of the EQ using it with a ps5 so I don't really think it would be recommended
It works fine at about 45 degrees. Its a pretty lenient sensor in regards to where you're positioned If you put your hands in front of your mouth or eyes, itll lose tracking for a sec. But losing track on this thing for like 1sec is hardly a big deal, I just recommend convering the blinking lights with some electrical tape or something
I have a Steelseries headset as well, my wife's home office is in the next room. So how does it connect with that? just a jack 3.5 jack? Will it still give great 7.1 audio in the headset? Will the soundbar automatically stop as soon as I activate my headset (How it works now with my -very old- logitech 5.1 speakers).
I still have my creative 4.1 speakers because that market is dead; only soundbars of headphones for PC. The only thing closet tonthat isbthe Logitech Z906 and those are hard to find because they are from 2011.
My Logitech G560 is plenty for my everyday use for gaming and work on my computer. The Leviathan has very fancy and cool features but, still not practical enough for me to buy it. This is really for those who has money and just want the best for the sake of wanting the best or most expensive / fancy pc speakers. Thanks for the review, The Razer Leviathan is an interesting product from Razer, good innovation.
You know this is FAR from the most expensive PC speakers right? There are some in the range of $1000-$2000. This is high mid range, if you considered any speakers less than $250 budget.
I'm fine with my Maxwellls. (Although I'm thinking about adding a Wave DX / Wave XLR combo with some Sennheiser headphones, along with a stream deck plus) Hehe
I was an all razer "guy"... I had Nommo pro for years, but I needed to replace it with a soundbar for my new build. So I picked up the leviathan v2 pro since all these youtubers say its amazing... I'm like... um... not even close... (same for the new V2 Nommo line).... just trash. Shame really, feels like these guys are shills or lack experience in reviewing these types of products. Anyways after I returned this POS I picked up JBL bar 9.1 since it was on sale... and the Nommo pro even sounded better than that... after tons of research I ended up getting the Polk Audio MagniFi Max AX SR it was the only sound bar (at this price) that felt like an upgrade from the Nommo pro... now i just need to install RGB on it! lol
I really regret buying this. I was too slow to send it back and am now stuck with it but may use warranty in case its broken. The sound is awful at times. Not all the time but for low rumbles / low range often drop out. The crossover seems a bit off and the sound through the sub stops and starts. Even watching this video, you hear the sub drop in and out. Bluetooth is really poor with music. Sounds like bass is coming out of a blown speaker.
Home theater costs 3x more + space + set up effort. Not everyone had $1000+ to throw at a home theater, or the knowledge to set it up correctly. That’s like saying the best fast food can’t replace Michellin star restaurant. That makes no sense. Different products.
You can't mix audio for "Virtual Surround". You can mix audio for real surround. The problem is just the implementation of virtual surround. I have yet to hear a good implementation. I know thet sometimes sounds really good but that is by coincidence.
