I have been watching these videos because my little girl has been in the hospital for the last 4 months with an ultra rare genetic disease called atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome and has been struggling with high blood pressure as a result of the kidney failure. She has been on 5 different drugs, including an ACE inhibitor and still not seeing good blood pressure. Because I have gotten educated I asked the doctors to test her renin and aldosterone levels. Renin came back with very high activity, which is weird because the ACE inhibitor she is on should have it at 0! I would love to see videos like this explain what happens in these kinds of situations! These videos are explained so well that I have absorbed so much that any new nurse I gets asks me how much medical school I have had and I am able to have (almost) equal level conversations with the docs. So grateful for these!! Now I just wish I could peer inside my baby's body and see what the true deal is so we don't have to take her kidneys out and give them a chance!!!

I think it’s something to do with not having enough pressure to make urine? Maybe lack of water or something dehydrating the body? I’m still learning as I have a reaction to the weather and the ACE cell is the one that takes up sars covid 2 and if the shreddace has done its job and converted to angiotensin 1-7 stops the glyco protein attacking to the cell. So it seems there is a malfunction caused by renin. Which I’d imagine is kidney stress related? Maybe exogenous toxins making it work harder and requires more water to allow for exec detoxification of blood?

Hi! Thanks so much for you amazing videos.
One question -- What triggers the liver to produce angiotensinogen? Or is it constantly being produced?

I really appreciate all your work! Your videos help me understand so many concepts. We are studying the urinary system now (last week it was the lymphatic and Immune system) and I find myself immediately turning to you for the clear and deep understanding. THANK YOU! Do you have these posted on your website? I like watching them from your site because it has the videos in sequence.

You are beyond the amazing word! ❤ Thanks for sharing these valuable FREE videos as no team can explain scientific concepts as you do and we need you. You are the biggest blessing for medical students especially for those who can't afford even low membership fees❤ Please make more FREE videos for specifically medical students 🙏✨✨✨✨

Here for the recommendations , but it’s actually very educational because this is the mechanism that coronavirus uses to get into the human cells 😯
