I seriously appreciate how thoroughly you break everything down. The little reminders of the factors that effect BP and then relating that to kidney function was huge for me. One of the ways we are able to learn new information is by connecting it to knowledge we already have, so the fact that you took the time to point that out speaks volumes about the kind of teacher you are.

Does it dilate under the effect of the intrinsic (autoregulatory) influences or does it constrict under the effect of extrinsic (mainly sympathetic) influences? These mechanisms will send conflicting signals and I never know which one predominates.
